  • Fantastic attitude to life/work
  • Safe, Kind and seriously Fun!
  • Has been ridden by a 12yo girl.

Rising 4yo chocolate dun gelding.

Approx 13/13.1hh

Backed earlier this summer and has taken to everything asked like a duck to water.

Hacks alone and in company, fine with all traffic inc big tractors etc.

Walk, trots, canters in school and is relatively balanced considering his age, a real leg in each corner stamp. Has been ridden by a 12yo girl.

Has popped coloured poles and our basic xc fences (logs and tyres). Happily trots through water and up/down steps and has seen fillers.

Has been shown in hand at a busy agricultural/county show.

Has been on hunt rides/hound exercise with the Grafton and was impeccable in a large group and with hounds.

Brilliantly behaved in every way, considering his age. Can vault on him and ride bareback and just generally have fun around him and he takes it all in his stride.

Good to groom/bath/clip/trim feet.

Has travelled on our trailer and loads and travels brilliantly.

Only hogged/clipped as I hate the hair and feathers.

He has had plenty of weeks off here and there, while we have been busy with work/away and isn’t wild when you get back on. He will continue doing a tiny bit more work before wanting a proper winter break.

I can’t say he doesn’t spook but given his age he’s not dramatic or malicious, just green.

Endless photos and videos available. Can provide references as to his fabulous behaviour out and about.

He really is a super fun and safe pony for the future and we think the world of him, he was bought as a project but we would 100% be keeping him if he was 15hh. If not sold, will be re-started in the spring and will be significantly more money.

WhatsApp messages please.

Heath was purchased directly from the breeder at 7 years .

He is content being a happy hacker or a dressage diva . Always proven to be a safe conveyance for myself, I have 2 artificial hips ! I am 5ft 7 " my husband also rides him who is 5ft 10". Heath has never been spooky ,pheasants fly up near him and he doesn't even twitch.

Good in traffic we live very rural with narrow lanes and large agricultural traffic, I just tuck him in a gateway. Perfect in open space does not get strong in company or alone .

We have competed successfully at intro and prelim dressage Heath is light in the hand has established lateral work and is schooled professionally .We qualified for the TGCA associated championships and finished 5th.

He is up to date with teeth, vaccinations, physio and is regularly treated with Dectomax. Heath is shod in front, excellent to load and travel a very polite cob with excellent manners , ties up and loves his stable. Made to measure saddle available as a separate negotiation.

Heath has so much to offer someone wanting to hack and train / compete dressage Must be the right home, I have decided to have one last horse before I get too old !

Gold dust pony! 13h beautiful black cob with white markings. Has done all pony club activities, been to beach, cross country, hacking, jumps small courses and has looked after my daughter throughout. He can be left for weeks and it makes no difference. He is also a showing machine and wins every time he goes out.

I cannot really stress how amazing this pony is. Suitable for a small adult or child. Never had a sick or sorry day.

Palomino & white

Irish cob x Welsh section D (by Tresorya Llwyn Sullien)

Frank is upto height 14.2hh

We bred Frank ourselves he was professionally broken by James Knight turned away for a few months after he then went to his first show for a look where he behaved impeccably. He has since been to two shows winning both his novice classes qualifying for CHAPS & reserve champion novice.

Totally unspoilt. Completely wasted definite front line HOYS /RI prospect or affiliated dressage frank would also make a lovely driving cob as he is very versatile!

Franks mum & dad were both super rude & drives who also did horse drawn weddings. Sadly we just don’t have time for him and he is wasted. videos available.

Frank is a lovely , kind boy who enjoys his work. He is good to catch , load , bath , Frank travels really well he is easy at shows , Frank is good for the farrier etc. He is very loving enjoys a fuss.

Frank is genuinely green to ride but very willing boy who listens he is a very light & responsive ride he rides more like a show hack!

Sadly for sale due to lack of time for him. No novices , time wasters or video collectors please!!!

Sunny Boy

Super fun and safe and such a sweet character.
I`ve owned sunny for 2 years from a 4 yr old, brought for my daughter coming of riding school ponies.
He has taught my daughter so much, but sadly she has out grown him.
We`ve had a season out showing him doing a mixture of things ie. Ridden, workers, and show jumping. He has taken a liking to workers He`s done arena hires, cross country, park rides.
He has 3 nice paces in he school and he will happily do cross pole to 60-70 jump. He will go up or down depending on his rider.

He hacks out alone or with company.
Great in open spaces.
He loves to jump.
Great with the farrier (shod on front)
Good with the dentist.
Upto date with vacs.
Used to a farm environment

He would suit a small rider or young rider wanting to go out and have some fun.
Very sad sale we and everyone love Sunny

I have lots of photos and videos on request.

7 year old
Traditional cob
Mare
Full up 14.2 hh

Rosa has competed in flat classes, show jumping, working hunter and has done the Boxing Day hunt and a bit of cross country with some really good results along the way…..
- Overall novice champion 2023 at Sparket
- Overall reserve champion 2024 at sparket
- Many other good results at local shows
- Jumped round a BSPS winter workers track at 60cm no problems
- Cleared 95cm/1m at Home

- Rosa is good to load she will travel alone or with company.
- Fine with the vet, farrier and is up to date with all her vaccinations and dentist.
- Hacks alone or in company.
- I have only ever turned her out on her own as thats the rules at my yard.

Even though she’s 7 she’s still a novice, that has not been rushed and been done correctly so needs a competent jockey to carry on her education!

This mare is only up for sale with me not being able to fully commit to her whilst living away at college.

Open for viewings but would have to be on a weekend.

Nancy Native piebald cob mare 12 years 12.2 hands

Safe & sensible nature. Kind &easy in all ways

Nancy is a super quiet, easy going mare. Great to hack alone or in company has had Lorrie’s tractors buses go past and always the babysitter of the group not fassed at all . a real leg in each corner type. a pretty pony with the personality to match.

Shes very easy to do in all ways - farrier, load, catch, groom, bath etc. Absolutely no vices. She is very well handled and not mareish at all. Always first to greet you in the field and always wants to be your friend. In time this pony would make a lovely pony club/ allrounder. She is sensible in open spaces and is never naughty or silly in anyway.

Nancy would be a great first ridden or lead rein pony , mother daughter share or someone that is wanting confidence she willing to step up or down depending on the riders confidence. We have had tiny tots on her to adults.

Same home for the last 3 years. Took her out to her first show and was an absolute star didn’t put a foot wrong took everything in her stride .

has proven to be a very quick learner with a very willing attitude.she has jumped a small course. She is very willing to work in a correct outline, it just needs furthering. It is her canter that needs the education in the school but will very quickly be ironed out I'm sure.

Nancy’s sale is through no fault of her own and came to me due to her current owners wanting her to be out doing a job rather than a field ornament.

Videos and more photos on request . Only the best of homes for this mare .

Open to vetting

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

Very sad sale due to owner having a baby, 5* home only! Great in every way and up to date with everything, 100% in traffic will hack out alone or in company, perfect to load will go in small wagon or trailer.

Loves to go on a farm ride & pop over the log jumps, has done some arena work but as I don’t have one it’s only when I’ve hired one that he’s been in one but is always willing to learn and has done anything I’ve asked of him.

Driven mainly when he was younger but not in the past 2.5 years as I’ve only ridden him since I’ve owned him. Rambo has Shown in hand and would excel in ridden classes also given the opportunity.

He lives alone or has lived in a mixed herd or geldings and mares gets along with everyone.

Loves attention and to be fussed over would be pampered all day long, lots of mane and feather.

It’s with heavy hearts that we’ve made the decision to find a new home for Conker. After six years our daughters have now outgrown him. We’re hoping Conker can bring as much joy to another family as he has to ours.

Meet Conker

• Age: 9 years old
• Height: 13.2hh
• Breed: Irish Cob

Conker is the ultimate confidence-giver, especially for riders who love to jump. He’s safe, sensible, and a true joy to ride without being a simple “kick-along.” He’s brilliant to hack, whether leading or following, and unfazed by traffic. Conker is equally happy exploring solo or with company and adores cantering through open fields, which has been a highlight for my girls.

Experience
Conker has done it all! From Pony Club and Pony Camp to clinics, cross-country, beach and sponsored rides, he’s a seasoned pro. Around our yard, he’s the trusted “nanny” pony, helping keep other horses calm during travel and shows. His relaxed, easy-going nature makes him the perfect partner for any adventure.

Perfect Fit
Conker has been a superstar with our kids and their friends—always patient, safe, and willing to teach. He’s best suited to a home with a confident rider who can bring out his playful side. He loves jumping, going out, and having fun, and would get a bit bored with a first-ridden rider.

We’re looking for a loving, forever home that will cherish him as much as we have. We have many videos and photos we’d be happy to share. Finding the right family for Conker is important to us; he truly deserves the best.

Conker is one in a million, and while we’ll miss him dearly, we know his next family will be so lucky to have him.

Has anyone got a quiet school mistress, 15h ish cob type mare.

I'm an older lady looking to get back into happy hacking looking for a steady safe type mare to fuss and love and enjoy happy hacking and possibly fun rides.

Lovely yard with all year turnout, in at night during winter.

More than happy to keep in touch with previous owner.
