Exceptionally trainable and workmanlike to ride, improves every single time he is sat on. He has been to two opening meets, and a third day out with bloodhounds (one with a field of 125 horses!) and provided a lovely and mannerly day and jumped a few timbers, he’s been cross country schooling and never said no and answered every question asked.

On the flat he’s been schooled a handful of times, but reflects a horse that has been worked on for years. He hacks alone and in company and is not spooky in the slightest will lead, leave the hunt field to go collect stray riders or horses, stay cool in open space and hack alone with no stress.

He loads, clips, farrier, catch, leads politely. He is an exceptional stamp of traditional cob and received a comment of “that’s a horse of the year show cob” and I don’t doubt it.

Open to any vet, excellent trial facilities, transport can be arranged.

Lola is a 6 yo, 12.2hh (approx) traditional gypsy cob, she has an abundance of silky straight feather, petite pretty head and desirable black tail.

Lola was bought direct from her breeder and has been with us for 18 months, she arrived in foal, foaled easy and was a great mum. Lola is not mareish at all and will stand all day to be groomed and fussed.

Lola has been slowly and careful broken and brought on over the summer, although she’s green she’s riding away sweetly, she has hacked out and seen lots of farm traffic with no issues. I feel Lola would be a real contender for the tgca search for a star classes and the chaps junior hoys classes with more schooling.
She is a dream to have on the yard, shes happy in or out with no vices, will go out with mares or geldings.
Good to load and travel, up to date with teeth/farrier/worming.
Lola is now ready to make dreams come true.

We have had so much fun with this little mare, she is well schooled on the flat , and is a responsive ride, a smart leg in each corner type, Savi is really fun to jump, she is bold and not phased by any fillers, she is currently jumping competitively at British Novice (80cm ) she loves xc , and takes everything in her stride, ditches, water , you name it.

Savi hacks out alone and in company and is great in traffic, with farm machinery, motorbikes etc, she is good to clip, shoe, worm, dentist, she loads and travels in a trailer and lorry and will stand on her own, no bother, she is good to catch and is currently turned out in a mixed herd.

Savi would suit an established rider, she is not suitable for a novice, more of a second pony,

SHSE WHISPERING ANGEL

I am offering my beautiful native coloured yearling filly, due to a drastic change in personal circumstances. I never wanted to part with this filly, she really is one in a million.

Her siblings are HOYS ponies, and she’s pure quality. No expense has been spared on her introduction to the showing world. She even spent a few weeks with a professional team bringing her on in the ring. She has competed at Royal Windsor, County/Agri shows, BSPA, CHAPS and Equifest. She wipes the floor locally with many wins/champions.

Considering she has competed with more mature horses and many types, she always walks away in the ribbons.

She is good to load and travel/catch/lead/stable etc. and everyone who meets her falls in love. She is a firecracker and does have personality - so isn’t for a novice - but it’s what gives her that real movement and spark in the ring and she goes in there knowing she’s going to be great.

She will make full up 14.2. Vetted when I got her at 6 months direct from breeder.

Always been fed well and up to date with worming and trims.

I have lots of photos and videos.

Definitely one for an ambitious individual or show team to bring on over the years and I’d love to follow her journey.

Storm – The Ultimate Child’s Pony & Family Treasure (13hh, Rising 6) ??

Storm is one in a million — a kind, patient, and trustworthy little mare who has safely taught children aged 4 to 10 to ride. She’s been nothing short of amazing with them, giving confidence to complete beginners and helping them learn the ropes in the kindest way possible.

She’s a little green only because she’s mainly been used for novice riders, but when ridden by someone with more experience, she steps up beautifully and shows real potential. Storm is honest, eager to please, and loves to be around people — the kind you trust without hesitation.

13hh | Rising 6 | Mare

Excellent with children – patient, forgiving, and gentle
Hacks alone or in company
Loads and travels easily
Good to catch, shoe, and handle
Pops a small jump and enjoys her work

Plenty of lovely footage available of her teaching young children — she truly is worth her weight in gold for the confidence and joy she gives them.

Storm would suit a family, teen, or small adult looking for a safe, genuine pony to bring on and love.

A rare find — safe, talented, and full of heart. She deserves only the very best home.

We have owned Zeus for 18 months. We were first time horse owners and he was our daughter’s first pony at the age of 9.

He has been a pleasure to own. He has been handled and ridden by our now 10 year old.

Zeus has been out and about and done a bit of everything. We have been active members of the pony club, including rallies and Camp.He has competed in local Dressage /Show Jumping Competitions. Done some XC, beach rides and on previous yard hacked out alone to Herrington park. Currently hacks round the farm including fields alone or company.

Always been safe and sensible for our little girl.

He is snaffle mouthed. Good to clip (except legs - requires patience- as with all cobs but we do manage to do this without twitching). Good for farrier (bare foot) and to load. No vet history. Up to date - Vaccines/Teeth/Worming.

Competed at 50/60cms and has jumped upto 70/80cm in the arena back at home.

Will be sold with a full wardrobe (saddle (new) , bridle, all rugs, saddle pad, fly veils and even grooming kit if needed)

Lives out during the day/Stabled at night - does like his grass. Can gCurrently on a farm environment he doesn’t react to machinery, tractors or all the dogs/animals that are about.

Would suit a confident young rider who wants to have fun in pony club and compete (he does love to pop a jump)

He deserves to build a new bond and bring joy to a new child and family. We really want to find him the beset home.

Please reach out if you have questions or want to know more about him.

Brynnebo Johnny Cash

5 year old coloured native stallion.

Licensed with WPCS/Graded with BSPA.

This guy has it all, looks, temperament, movement and an incredible jump!

He’s been in the same home since he was 6 months old and has been shown from a yearling, with too many wins to mention.

He’s the type to turn his hoof to anything. He’s shown, hunted, showjumped and xcountry schooled with us. He would also do a fantastic dressage test.
My plan was get him graded with CHAPS and SPSS.

He’s good to hack, clip, trim, shoe, dentist, travel and with the farrier.

He’s not been rushed as I know he’s worth the wait!!
He will go all the way but reluctantly for sale due to change in circumstances.

He will only go a 5* home where he will fulfil his full potential or to a professional! As he’s a serious hoys contender!

POA

Has a made to measure Black Country show saddle, inhand bridle and show bridle all available at separate negotiation.

The time has come to advertise our epic boy, Borris. This is a heartbreaking decision only being made due to my daughter’s ever growing legs. For anyone interested please only message once you have read the entire advert which is open and honest as finding the right home is so important. Absolutely no time wasters please, and adults only to message.

Approx. 12hh mini cob 7 years old. As wide as he is tall, currently ridden by a very tall 9 year old.

We have owned Borris for the last 2 years, and I’m aware before this he had been in work for just under a year. He is young, and his future home needs to be able to continue his education in a kind manner (as should any horses education be supported).

Borris is an absolute legend out hacking. On his first fun ride he was an absolute saint with a 7 year old jockey, despite my 16.1 warmblood having an absolute meltdown for most of the ride. Borris has beautifully babysat OTTBs out hacking (all road work), and last year he joined us Halloween trick or treating around a very busy housing estate (he’s due to join us again this year), not batting an eyelid at anything. Borris doesn’t hot up in open spaces, and has enjoyed numerous beach rides (including gallops) with a 7/8 year old jockey with whom he behaved impeccably. We plan to take Borris trail hunting this winter.

Borris has proven to be honest with his jumping, with great scope, and he shows promise to continue further through the heights. He is particularly brave over working hunter type courses, taking on his first water tray and brush fence with no hesitation.

Borris hasn’t batted an eyelid at anything with games in Pony Club, and has taken on various tasks and obstacles with no issues (including bending poles falling on him)

Borris has regularly attended PC during his time with us, engaging in an array an of activities, and being used as a demo pony for anatomical painting.

We have taken Borris to numerous local showing shows where he behaved fantastically and has always been in the placings, including reserve champion in his section. He scrubs up beautifully with a mass of feather and unusual markings.

Borris isn’t spooky, and isn’t bothered by being taken to new venues or staying away from home. He boxes and travels like a dream, is clipped with no issues (though needs quiet clippers for under his chin), and is caught from the field by a child with no issues.

When schooling, Borris can put in a buck (most usually when warming up) and he can pull at the contact; balance support reins have been great for managing this, though we no longer use them as my daughter has been managing without. We have had a very light adult rider intermittently support with his schooling. Whilst this adult hasn’t popped on Borris since June, having this support has proved hugely beneficial as the traits noted significantly improve following these sessions. For this reason, I would be keen to see Borris go to somewhere where there is an option to have an older jockey support with his schooling should this be needed recognising he is only 7. Borris is on Naked Horse Buck Off supplement which also really helps. I am confident that as Borris grows older and with ongoing schooling this will continue to improve.

Borris has taken my daughter from on the lead rein through to being fully independent and a super little jockey. Nonetheless, I wouldn’t recommend him for a nervous jockey due to the reasons noted above.

Whilst I do not believe he is trained to drive, I anticipate Borris would take to this with no issues with the correct training.

Borris is infamous in his pony club, and a firm favourite wherever he goes.

 Duchess
Looking for a new home
12.2hh, 6yo, mare.

Duchess has such a lovely personality and just wants to please but it’s time she finds her new human to love her now.

Good to load/clip/teeth/farrier

Hacks out alone or in company, little legs but she will hack for hours and keeps up with the bigger ponies, more of a click then kick along type.

I’ve had her in an arena at home/arena hire/open fields and nothing seems to phase her, we’ve popped a couple of jumps, logs, tyres, water tray etc and she has happily done everything that I asked of her without questions.

She’s no world beater but she’s proven to be safe and just happy to be doing somthing however She is only 6 and still very green so would probably be more suited to a second pony for someone to put their own stamp on. Or she would also make a fantastic lead rein pony

  • New best friend needed!
I purchased Jack in 2021. In the four years that i’ve owned him he’s done a bit of everything. He’s hunted, done fun rides, been to pony club, competed in dressage, show jumping and cross country. He comes alive doing mounted games but he’s also partial to some fancy dress. Jack will happily jump a sj course 50/60cm.

Jack is good to hack alone or in company. He’s un phased by traffic and farm life. He will live off fresh air, never sick or sorry. He has excellent feet and is currently barefoot. Jack is good with the farrier and to clip. Up to date with vaccinations and worming.

Jack comes to call. He’s easy to manage, you can turn him out alone or in a mixed herd.

Jack has taught two of my nieces to ride. He’s fantastic on the lead rein and will look after the youngest of jockeys. Off the lead I believe he’s probably more of a second pony than first.

Heartbreakingly Jack needs to find a new home and a new best friend. My nieces have moved onto a homebred pony which is the only reason he’s for sale. I have hundreds of photos and videos.

Castle Hill Black Jack
2013 | 14.1hh | Gelding | Dales Pony

A truly special gelding, “Jack” is now searching for his perfect forever partner. This is a very reluctant sale of a kind, talented, and striking Dales pony with so much to offer in the right hands.

Basic Information

Name: Castle Hill Black Jack
DOB: 02/10/2013
Height: 14.1hh
Breed: Dales Pony
Sex: Gelding (gelded 2021)

Discipline & Experience

Originally purchased by The Nipna Stud to introduce a new bloodline, where he sired 16 foals – several of which have gone on to qualify for HOYS.

Since being gelded at 8, Jack was purchased back and produced by the talented and very well-known Sarah Parker. I have been in contact with all his previous owners, so I know his full history.

His original homes previous had more of a high level showing focus with professional producers riding him. It was felt it was more suited as an allrounder with a more varied life.

He has adapted beautifully to a more varied ridden lifestyle and continues to thrive.

Jack has enjoyed a varied career so far, with a strong foundation in showing, dressage, hacking, beach rides and fun rides.
County-level and local show success, consistently placed and proven quality.

Temperament & Personality

Jack is a kind-hearted, genuine pony with not a bad bone in his body.
Affectionate, intelligent, and quick to learn.

He can be cheeky at times but thrives with routine and consistency and boundaries. He Loves attention, enjoys pampering, and is safe enough to carry small children when asked.

He would truly excel in a 1-to-1 home where he can build a strong partnership.

A good doer – happy living in or out, alone or in a herd. Despite being stabled and turned out next to mares, he couldn’t be less bothered and regularly hacks out with both mares and geldings. You would never know his was previously a stallion!

Due to his later start under saddle, he has low mileage and is still a little green in places but shows excellent potential with the right level rider, time and empathetic yet firm partner.

Training & Handling

Good to shoe, clip and catch.
Excellent with the farrier, dentist and vet.

Well-mannered on the ground providing consistent but clever enough to test a novice – thrives with confident, consistent handling.

Health & Maintenance

5-stage vetting undertaken in 2022 (available for viewing)
No ongoing health issues or maintenance requirements
Up to date with vaccinations, teeth, farrier, physio, and saddler

He has transitioned beautifully from a structured mainly schooling and showing life to a natural herd environment with plenty of forage and freedom.

Rider Suitability

Jack would suit a competent, confident rider who can offer him boundaries, consistency, and encouragement as he can sometimes lack confidence. But he does hack alone and in company

He is not a “novice project,” but he is a genuine, safe pony in the right hands.

Would excel in a varied home enjoying hacking, showing, and fun outings.
Has previously jumped (not with current owner) and would enjoy a rider keen to explore this further.

Achievements & Highlights

16 offspring sired at The Nipna Stud – proven quality bloodlines
Strong county-level and local level record with multiple ribbons
Last show outing: Reserve In-Hand Champion & Ridden Champion
Stunning presence, correct conformation, and true-to-type movement

Price & Location

£14,000 ONO – negotiable for the perfect home
Tack and rugs available under separate negotiation

Based in East Sussex.

The Right Home

This is a heartbreaking and reluctant sale.

I am focusing on bringing on my younger Dales, and Jack deserves the time and consistency to truly shine that I am not able to offer him, I just want the best for him.

Potential homes will be carefully vetted – Jack will only go to someone who can offer him the love, attention, and fulfilling, varied lifestyle he deserves.

Castle Hill Black Jack is a rare opportunity to own a top-quality Dales gelding with a proven show record and endless future potential.

Serious enquiries only, no LWVTB, open to vetting.

The most important thing for Jack is to find his forever home that he can enjoy and thrive with a best friend to have the best life together.

I am not in a rush to sell him and he will only go to the most suitable home.

Any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

Jackson is a stunning, kind, and talented 5-year-old gelding, currently standing at approximately 14.3hh and still growing.

He is a super loving boy who thrives on attention and is always keen to come in and do something, even if it's just for a cuddle! He is ready to find his next partner to continue his education and reach his full potential.

Training & Experience

I have owned Jackson since he was a yearling and have professionally overseen his entire training program, including all groundwork and backing. He was professionally backed and has been backed for a year and is progressing beautifully.

He is working well and confidently:

Ridden Work: He hacks out calmly, enjoys polework, and has popped over a small cross pole. He is happy to be in work and is progressing well in his flatwork.
Groundwork: He is excellent on the long rein and lunge. He is very sensible and well-desensitized—I have done extensive groundwork showing him 'scary' things like plastic bags, and he has even had tarpaulin placed on his back and over his head, and will walk over it.
Temperament: He's a lovely horse who responds best to a confident rider to help him relax and flourish. He is generally very sensible but, as a young horse, is still seeing new things for the first time—for example, he had a slight reaction to cyclists on his first encounter but was fine with them soon after.

Dakota is looking for his new home due to no fault of his own, he has an amazing gentle personality and nature.

He would suit a lead rein tiny rider or a rider coming off their first pony as he jumps and is schooling dressage confidently.

He is a lovely steady, safe ride with a gentle nature and snaffle mouth. Is not strong at all and listens to the leg but not sharp or silly at all.

With his previous owner he has shown in hand, XC, hacked and had loads of fun.

He will stand all day to be groomed, bathed, trimmed, clipped etc he loves a fuss.

He’s great to catch, in the stable, clip, load, bath, lead and is a really good easy boy in general.

He’s very good in traffic, not spooky at all and travels well.

Up to date with vaccinations, worming, teeth, farrier and is looking for a five star home.

He really is a love bug and sure to make dreams come true for a little rider and family.

Please ring to discuss any more details and videos of this little dream boat pony.

Absolutely best of homes wanted for this special boy . Hes good and up to date with vacations teeth feet clip etc . He’s been with m for 8 years. With previous owners hs a youngster he took king of the ring at chaps champs . Then has a 6 year old he qualified for r.i.h.s on his first attempt and still only a novice! I purchased him with the ride . Unfortunately I fell ill and was diagnosed with a health condition and wasn’t well enough to take him .

Unfortunately this has been the case in all the time hes been with me a stop start cycle . He lacks miles on the clock and is a little green, so he has never reached his full potential due to my on going health .He has attended a couple of clinics and local shows he has been to bigger shows and done con course de elegance with my sister for fun .

He travels in a trailer or box and is happy to stand on all day . He is well mannered to handle in and out of stable by any member of the family. He loves attention and pampering. He always puts a smile on your face !

He hacks round the village in heavy traffic. He needs to hack out more and see more of the world. He is not a jumper , it’s not his thing !

He is needing a purpose in life , has he is wasted here he is only in very light work . He would be ideal to bring on over winter and have fun . He is not a suitable novice ride or first pony a. A confident experienced rider to get the best out of him. Has nice paces for a bit of dressage . He does have mild hock arthritis that’s home treated . He needs to be in regular work .

He is offered at a realistic price to include rugs and part tack . Separate negotiation for saddle . Owner giving up . Please no time wasters . Not always available to take calls lave a message or text and I will call you back .

Bertie Bassett. Full up 12.2 takes up the leg.
We've owned bertie for 2.5 years we brought him for my daughter to learn to ride on and he's done his job and we now have a new pony on its way.
He's attended hundred or rallies, pc camps, other local camps, fun rides dressage mini ode and hunting.
He does like to be at the front hunting so would need a Confident rider.
He's fine in open spaces my daughter who 10 hacks him out with her friends, they ride to the field bareback they slide off him the dress him up they throw mini hoops on his ears. He really is a super little coblet. Our 4 year old has won numerous dressage clear round rosettes he just follows you round.
He's perfect to catch load lead farrier dentist and clip.
He can be a cheeky pony when jumping , never nasty but will run out at a fence if you have baggy riens there for if he goes to a novice rider he will need someone older sibling or parent to ride him aswell as he will learn to take the mick. My 10 year old doesn't have any trouble with him but she did when she was less experienced he would nap to his friends but we used balanced riens and he was fine.
He's happy to live out or in over night.
He's adapts very well to his rider and will teach a child a ride but as above would need someone to keep him in line. Therefore he maybe better suited as a 1.5 pony.
He is n/p1 pssm so he carries 1 gene we've never had an issue with this. He doesn't get any special treatment. We muzzle him when the grass is long and make sure he works regularly. He's on basic feed just chaff and speedibeet.
He's shod on the front but only as we hack alot he has Realy good feet and can go barefoot. He's very clean in his stable.
Everyone that rides him loves him and he will take a rider upto about 5"2 so easy for an older sibling or parent to hop on.
We have 1000 of videos on request.
No timewasters
No dealers
He will come with all his rugs
Ideal saddle
And a flexi fillie muzzle
He will only go to a family home we're he can Continue to teach kids to ride.
He's not a push button pony he's off the leg and he really Is a fun pony and he will teach a child to pilot him not just aim and win.
