I have owned Uno since he was a yearling, I bought him as a terrified, scrawny baby to keep my youngsters company through weaning, luckily he's grown up into a smart little pony with a nice attitude towards life. I know him inside out, he's grown hugely in confidence, he's safe & polite, can be handled by children. He'll stand to be groomed, fussed, easy to lead around. Never kicked or been nasty. He's good to do in all ways, loads and travels well, doesn't get over excited but definitely not your typical plod.
He was professionally backed and ridden away by an experienced child show rider last year, he was by no means rushed. He spent the winter with me at home, but due to no rider - he was intermittently ridden by an adult. I have since sent him back to be ridden and further his education.
Uno is established enough to go and become someone's best friend, whilst he is a little green, he's sensible and doesn't go anything stupid. He'll happy walk, trot and canter in a nice outline, pop a jump, hack out with company. He has been hacked alone, proving to be confident.
He's a smart pony, and a big mover under saddle - I feel he's do so well in the show ring but is also more than capable of taking a confident child out hunting, farm rides etc. I truly believe that this pony will go far in the right hands.
I'm seeking an experienced family home for him, somewhere he can continue his education, gain experience and live a fun life. He's never said no, and tries so hard to please. But more importantly, this pony owes me nothing. I am negotiable, long term loan, LWVTB or a loan from my premises in Crewe, Cheshire.
