A very exciting opportunity to purchase a talented, versatile pony with a proven show record and an exciting future ahead of him.
A prolific winner with numerous championships and placings at county level, this quality Traditional Gypsy Cob has been lightly but successfully shown throughout 2026, narrowly missing out on his HOYS ticket by just ONE mark!
Graded with CHAPS and eligible for grading with TGCA and BSPA.
Produced slowly and correctly under saddle, he has been given the time to mature and develop and is now ready for someone to take the reins and contest the 2027 HOYS qualifiers.
He is not just a pretty face! He has also hunted and competed with great success at unaffiliated dressage. We feel he has plenty of untapped potential in the dressage arena and would love to see what he could achieve if taken on to affiliated competition.
A future junior pony in the making?
Standing at 135cm, he would also make a super junior pony prospect if gelded, offering an exciting opportunity for someone looking to produce a future HOYS contender. With his showing success, hunting experience and dressage ability, he has the versatility to turn his hoof to a variety of disciplines.
Options regarding gelding can be discussed with the right prospective home.
Easy to manage and handle:
* Good for the farrier (currently trimmed only)
* Good to clip and trim
* Easy to catch and load
* Straightforward in the stable, even when stabled in a barn alongside mares and geldings
* Hacks out alone or in company, including with mares
This is a genuinely difficult sale. If he stood at 15hh, he wouldn’t be going anywhere! Unfortunately, a lack of jockey forces this decision, and finding the very best home is absolutely paramount.
A talented, proven and versatile pony with an exciting future ahead of him, whether continuing his showing career as a stallion or being considered for a junior career as a gelding.
The right home is more important than the price. Serious enquiries only.
