Dora is a lovely 12.2hh, 5-year-old cob mare with a kind and genuine nature.

She is a responsive ride who works well in the arena, happily walking, trotting and cantering, and is confident over poles. Dora is sensible and straightforward, with no spooky behaviour.

She has been used successfully in a riding school environment with both novice and intermediate riders, proving herself to be reliable and willing. As a young pony, she is still gaining experience and education, but she has never shown any signs of bad behaviour – she has never bucked, reared, bolted or displayed any nastiness.

Dora hacks out confidently both alone and in company and is good to handle on the ground. She stands quietly for grooming, bathing and the farrier.

Due to her responsive nature, Dora would not be suitable for a complete beginner, but she would make an excellent second pony for a rider looking to progress and have fun.

She has no known health issues and is open to any vetting. Viewings are welcome.

  • Safe , laidback allrounder.
Frankie is a smart, sporty looking 14.3hh cob gelding with a kind temperament and a fantastic attitude to life. He is a genuine young horse with an old head on young shoulders who has been produced slowly and is now ready for someone to continue his education.

Frankie is very much more woah than go, giving a safe and confidence-giving ride.

Due to his age he has only done light schooling, so he is still green in the arena. Not a sharp or strong ride; can be slow off the leg while gaining confidence and experience. He has been Hunting,Arena hire/ cross country schooling and also to an unaffiliated showjumping competition finishing with a clear round!

Frankie is brave and level headed and happy to give anything a go. He is fantastic in open spaces – you can canter him across a field on the buckle and feel completely safe.

On the ground Frankie is a pleasure to have around. He is:
• Good to catch, lead and handle
• Easy to tack up
• Loves grooming and fuss
• Loads first time on trailer and lorry
• Travels well
• Good for the farrier and vet
• Has been clipped and stood perfectly
•hacks alone and in company

Frankie is a genuine young cob with masses of potential who will go on to make a fantastic all-rounder, hunting cob, riding club horse or happy hacker.

Open to viewings just no time wasters as this is a sad sale.

Due to his age Experienced home only.

Based in Berkshire.

Floss (Coedrhyd Libby) – 15hh, 12yo Registered Welsh Section D Mare

Breeding: Registered with WPCS. Sire: Pentrepoid Welsh Flyer | Dam: Aberconwy Victoria.

Super fun on a fun rides, rides a nice dressage test, dabbled in showing (untapped potential), and an absolute machine at hacking.

Hacks alone or in company (happily leads). She has incredible stamina and confidently tackles steep hills, bogs, stony tracks, sheep, cows, and barking dogs.

A truly genuine, sweet mare with a heart of gold. Like many quality Welsh cobs, she can be a bit spooky and sharp at times, but has zero malice. She just needs a confident, reassuring rider. Once she trusts you, she tries her absolute hardest.

Jumping: She is a dirty stopper. This stems purely from a lack of self-confidence rather than nastiness. She has potential to jump up to 60cm but just lacks the confidence!

An absolute saint to manage; happily lives out 24/7. Can easily change rugs/fly masks in the field without a headcollar.

Good to load if given 10 minutes to process without being rushed. Travels perfectly and quietly, even on long trips (up to 4 hours).

Up to date on everything. Barefoot (trimmed every 6 weeks, great to do). Perfect for the Vet; not needle shy. Physio and saddle fitter done every 3-6 months. Dentist; Done annually (requires sedation). Clipping she can be a bit fidgety but fine if you take your time (will not allow her head to be clipped).

Floss is a much-loved pride and joy, only being sold due to the owner traveling. She is the perfect partner for a confident rider wanting to enjoy dressage, fun rides, and endless hacking.

Available at extra cost. Includes a GFS Monarch cob jump saddle (17", bought brand new last May).

  • Beautifully marked pretty pony with 3 lovely paces

Meet Bonnie, the ultimate confidence-boosting pony!

She's a 13hh 8yr old all-rounder who loves teaching her little rider through all disciplines, adapting perfectly from a nervous novice to a competent competitor.

Bonnie is not fazed by an unbalanced complete beginner bouncing around. She looks after them and adapts perfectly to the skill of her rider. She is as perfectly behaved with a little rider as a taller one.

She will happily step up a gear with a more experienced rider, working in a beautiful outline, with 3 lovely paces. Always has great comments from dressage judges.

Bonnie adores children and has been cared for daily by my 12-year-old daughter. She's a joy to own, and is very easy and straightforward.

She has impeccable manners both in and out of her stable, and is kind and gentle especially with children, and senses if they are nervous, where she will be especially calm and gentle with them.

In the two years we've had Bonnie, she's transformed my daughter from a nervous rider to excelling in dressage, showjumping, and One Day Eventing. Bonnie is successfully competing at Prelim with high 60% scores and consistently places in 40cm and 50cm showjumping. She's even won a local riding club One Day Event

Bonnie happily hacks alone or in company. Will lead or follow. Great with opening gates, dismounting and mounting, all traffic, bikes, dogs, runners. Will leave the group to go for a separate canter /jump. Will stand patiently at the roadside waiting to cross/join.

Loads and travels extremely well. She is always loaded by my daughter, and is a pleasure at shows, happily standing on or off the box/trailer.

Perfect for clipping and bathing! Great in any arena, never fazed by new surroundings. We have done several arena hires/ clinics, and she never changes in a new arena or with strange horses.

She's done lots of farm rides/ cross country schooling. She's great in open spaces, happy to have a gallop, but will equally happily plod on a longer rein if asked.

Will happily go on a horse walker alone or with other horses.

Will graze in a mixed herd. Currently grazing in a large herd of mares. Not fazed by day or night turnout, and easily adapts to winter turnout of alternate days out.

Up to date with worming, teeth, farrier, physio, saddle fitter and vaccinations.

Comes to call in the field. A real eye-catching, very pretty pony with a super temperament. This is a heartbreaking sale, and only for sale due to being outgrown by my now very tall daughter!

She will only go to the very best of homes.

Countless videos and photos available.

Penny has been with us in our small loaning yard for a year now. She has done it all from teaching children to canter to cross country days at different venues to being plaited up and pony painted!!!!

She is as patient as they come and as loving as your loyal best friend. She has beautiful manners and is everyone’s best friend.

On flat work lessons she teaches children to canter and is happy for a less confident child or a child that wants to work on position. She is mannerly and works through her transitions beautifully all in a snaffle bridle.

Jumping she jumps well up to 50/55’s great cross country and very happy to jump a filler or plank. She’s happy to go around a course in trot or canter and always try’s her hardest and listens to the most smallest rider.

Hacking wow she is a superstar with a large group or alone she is always well behaved and easy going. Good in traffic and open spaces. Will jump the ditch and small hedges out and happy to potter around the village to get her riders confidence.

She is such a fabulous pony and has everything to give your child from confidence to rosettes at the local show to being the safest.

This is a hard sale for us but as summer holidays come and children go on holidays we aren’t as busy so something has to be sold.

Show Quality Traditional Mini-Cob

  • Easy to keep and care for
Very sad sale of this lovely pony. He has been trained by professional dressage riders and is beautifully schooled, offering a forward, responsive ride with excellent and expressive paces. Excellent potential for showing and dressage, would be a strong contender for Search For a Star or Chaps classes, but also enjoys jumping and would make a top class allrounder as well.

He happily hacks out both alone and in company and has been un phased by games equipment and lunges well. He’s currently in work, reasonably fit and ready to crack on and have some fun.

He’s a genuinely kind and willing pony, though still young and not currently suitable as a first ridden pony. He is in no way naughty, just a little inexperienced and a little too responsive for a child just learning their balance and cantering for the first time off lead rein etc.

He’d be an ideal match for a lightweight adult who would appreciate his training and solid flatwork skills, or a capable child as he has a love for jumping, making him perfect for some serious fun and success. He could also be shared between a child and a parent.
Fun and versatile, he’s not got a bad bone in his body, just needs someone with the time to give him some more experience.

Quick to learn, friendly, and curious, he’ll often follow you around the field just to be near you and is a firm yard favourite.

He comes to call to be caught and is a peaceful and easy member of a herd. He’s happy to live out or in, or a combination of both, and is calm and patient for bathing and grooming. He is good for the farrier, with strong, healthy, unshod feet. He travels and loads easily and has no known health issues, skin problems, or allergies. He needs a little patience for clipping and requires sedation for dental work, but mostly due to his age and lack of experience. He is up to date on vaccinations, dental care, and worming.

A loving, suitable home is an absolute must for this very special pony, so only serious phone enquiries, please.

Super cob for sale. Owned him since he was 4 backed and produced him myself.

For the last 6 months he’s had a 13 year old ride him and take him out competing.

Good for farrier (he’s barefoot)
Good with teeth and up to date with vaccinations
Hacks alone and with company
Has been out by himself and in herds with mare’s and geldings
Doesn’t mind being left by himself
Always scores 65% and above at dressage and goes in a nice frame when asked
Doesn’t mind loud noises or farm machinery( there’s an air soft centre outside the arena aswell as annual shooting on the farm)
Pops a small course - jumping is still a work in progress currently jumping 40/50 cross poles

He’s a typical pony will pull you for grass when leading him but is a saint when ridden.

Would be a perfect first or second pony for a child equally a great fun Allrounder for a small adult, I am 5”5 for reference.

Bella has jumped up to 80 show jumping and cross country and goes nicely on the flat. She regularly attends showing jumping and cross country PC rallies and camp, is brilliant to hack and loves being out. We have lead her from the ground and from a horse and she is very well behaved.

With an established rider she is an all rounder and will excel in all pony club activities. She absolutely loves hunting and will go all day! In her previous home she was used for RDA. She has taken my 8 yo daughter from jumping cross poles to jumping 70cm but beyond this she needs a bigger rider. We feel that Bella will reach her full potential with a 10 year old plus who is calm but firm. Alternatively she can repeat the chapter she’s had with my daughter with another beginner. We were promised she would teach our daughter a lot and she certainly has delivered on that promise.

She would also make a lovely show pony if feathers are grown back. She often loads herself onto the trailer or lorry. Good to shoe and clip but requires domosedan to clip her feathers.

Serious enquiries only please. It’s a sad sale and she’s a very loved family pony currently ridden by an 8yo and 14yo. She is hacking out 3 - 5 times a week so fit and ready for her next chapter. She is not phased by traffic, farm machinery, motor bikes, cyclists, dogs, etc. Reference available from previous owner too.

Lots of photos and videos available on request. She’s currently living out with mares and geldings. Happy in or out Easy to handle and look after.

Tack available by separate negotiation.

13.2hh 5 year old dun traditional cob mare.

She is a true leg at each corner.

I am 5ft9 and I am the rider in the photos.

It is hard to find the words to describe my beautiful girl, but one thing is for sure… her attitude to life is truly infectious, you can’t help but smile when you are with her and every single person that meets her falls in love immediately. I will only let her go to her perfect partner, so only the most special of forever homes please. She will be sorely missed and I have been putting this off for some time but she is so ready for her next chapter and I know that she is going to make that one very lucky person so unbelievably happy and that is exactly why I do what I do.

She has been professionally started, ridden away and produced by myself for the past two years, so has had a fantastic start to her education. She has been produced slowly and correctly and is proving to be a fabulous all rounder who is very willing to turn her hoof to anything that you ask of her and very much enjoys having a job and being out and about!
I lightly backed her as a 3 and a half year old and then turned her away for the winter to mature. Then restarted her as a 4 year old and she has been in regular work since then, other than a couple of months break over last winter. She is such a lovely mare to work with, so honest and willing to give everything a go, she always tries her heart out for you. She is forward thinking, responsive to the aids and light in the hand. She can pick up a gear sensibly if asked and always has excellent breaks. She is schooling beautifully in walk, trot and canter and has started lateral work. She would effortlessly work way up the levels BD.
She is snaffle mouthed at all times.

She has been boxing up regularly since September last year and has been regularly attending pole clinics since then. She has also done a Trec clinic and tackled all the obstacles very boldly. She has been on several Ride Yorkshire guided group rides hacking through the Yorkshire wolds and rides very sensibly with others, is happy to be at the front, back or in the middle of the group and canters quietly as a group. She has also ridden solo round Escrick park estate and is happy to walk, trot and canter on her own in open spaces, without being silly or strong.

She has been to two dressage competitions now scoring 65.68% and 3rd place in her first ever test (she had never seen the white boards before this) then went straight back in and won her second test with 70%. In her second dressage competition she scored 67.5% in both tests and won both classes. With lovely comments from the judges on all her sheets.

I have not jumped her up until recently because of her age. She has jumped a few small cross poles at home and a few little logs at Escrick park and both times she was super honest and popped straight over with no bother at all. She makes a nice shape over jumps and has plenty of scope and natural ability to do more.

She is a wonderful little mare with such a huge heart and so much to give. We have had so much fun together and it will break my heart to let her go. I am in absolutely no rush and she will only be sold to her perfect partner and forever home, she deserves the very best and in the meantime we will keep going out and enjoying having fun together until that person finds us.
She is up to date with everything, farrier (she is barefoot), fully vaccinated for flu and tetanus, worming and worm counts, teeth and physio (which she has had every 6 weeks for the entire time she has been with me)
She is happy to live in or out, she currently comes in for a few hours a day and turned out with two other mares the rest of the time.
She loads and travels well in a box, I have never had her in a trailer but I can’t see her being a bother as she loves to go out in the box.
She has a passport and microchip.

Homes will be vetted, I am looking for a forever home only please.

She came to me with very mild locking stifles (they have never locked) I have worked closely with my vet and physio and followed their advice from day one to ensure that I have done absolutely everything possible to strengthen her. This is one of the reasons that I have kept her this long so I had a definite answer on whether she was going to grow out of the condition or not so then I could sell her with the assurance of this and I am delighted to say that she has grown out of it. And with everything we have done together, she has more than proved she will excel in any discipline!
No novices please, as much as she is a very straightforward pony to work with I am looking for someone to continue her education and give her a job and go out and have fun on her.

Super smart type and soo cute!!
He has a very sweet temperament, a really nice type to be around and handle.
He’s got good bone and plenty of substance, will make a great all round type.
Shown a great attitude xc schooling today for his 1st time jumping absolutely everything asked of him and going in the water ect
He loaded/travelled and stood on the lorry on his own like a pro.
He’s still green in the arena but rides well for his age and is very genuine, has been a really good boy to hack and ride in open spaces.
Lots to like about him
(Rider is 6’2)

I have an amazing 13 hands 6 years mare.

Neigha has been my son’s second pony from his lead rein pony and she has been amazing bringing his riding on and she hacks and is brave as a lion. Been hunting and jumped logs to the biggest of hedges. She jumps around 60’s still can be a little green in this sphere.

She is a complete legend hacks out alone or in company goes first or last completely trustworthy and always leaves her rider with a huge smile. Great with traffic and She is such an amazing pony and she will be dearly missed, but my boy is wanting the next step up. Has been to every local show always well behaved and comes home with ribbons.

Would be a fantastic pony club pony but we have had an awful experience of pony club so we don’t go. But she has done clinics and cross country sessions with friends river rides.

She is a cracking girl and ready for her next little person to love her.
