14.2| 8yo Mare | Super Smart All-Rounder / Jumping / PC / XC / Show Quality

Liddyfield Lulu has 3 good paces, and would do a very smart and correct dressage test. She has competed successfully up to 100cm unaffiliated showjumping, proving bold, careful and scopey. She is brave over XC fences, ditches, water, steps etc. She also has potential as a Working Hunter / HOYS-type, a lovely well put together type.

Forward going and would suit an ambitious child that wants to have lots of fun.

Excellent to hack — alone or in company. Good in traffic and farm machinery.

Lulu would suit a competent, confident rider looking for a pony to have fun and be competitive on.

Open to any vetting

Lulu is offered for sale through no fault of her own, purely due to rider being ready to move onto horses.

Very sad sale of a much loved pony.

  • Correctly produced with nothing to undo — ready to be taken forward properly
  • Proven in-hand with the presence to step up or enjoy as a top-class all-rounder

14.2hh Traditional Coloured Gelding | Approx 5–6yrs | Backed | CHAPS Placed 2024 in hand | Genuine All-Round Prospect

Striking piebald gelding, approx 14.2hh, a proper traditional stamp with bone, presence and a kind, intelligent outlook. Owned since a 2yo and produced correctly with long-term soundness and development in mind. Successfully shown CHAPS 2024, placed in all classes and taken through to evening performance — he carries himself well and has already proven he can deal with some busy environments.

Education & Current Work
He was professionally backed and ridden over a 10-week period (Oct–Dec 2025), taking everything in his stride. Turned away since due to time and weather, not ability, and now back in work, currently long reining out on the road, around the farm and in open fields to continue his education. Not under saddle due to size of owners butt right now but work in progress so don't hang around!

During backing he hacked both alone and in company, proving sensible and straightforward, including through water and new environments (videos available and on here).

Produced correctly and given time to mature, he was not rushed as a youngster. Backed later by design to allow him to strengthen and develop properly, giving him a solid, long-term foundation.

A genuinely kind, level-headed horse who enjoys human interaction and wants to work with you. Naturally independent — happy to be left, does not call or become unsettled away from others.

Not suited to nervous, over-analytical or inconsistent riding — he thrives with quiet, straightforward handling from someone who enjoys producing a horse properly and having fun beyond the arena. He is not sharp or reactive; he is a kind, willing horse who genuinely wants to get things right. He responds best to clear, consistent guidance and positive reinforcement. If over faced or rushed, he could lose confidence, so he is best produced progressively by someone who reads their horse and works with him, not against him.

A proper all-rounder with quality — well suited to a Pony Club / family home wanting to do a bit of everything: Fun rides, clinics, local shows, camps, hacks out, pub rides etc. Equally, he has the presence and ability to step up with the right training. Shows a natural aptitude for long reining and could also develop into a smart driving prospect. A correctly produced horse with a solid foundation — offering a genuine opportunity to develop something quality without having to undo poor training.

Snaffle mouthed.
You wont find a more responsive pony to voice commands. consistent training ongoing.
Loads and travels alone or in company (trailer / 3.5t)
Good with farrier and vet
No vices, no health issues
Handled daily and easy to have around

He is being offered for sale only to find the right long-term home where his potential will be realised. This is not a forced sale, and his long term home will be chosen carefully. Ideally, a buyer open to keeping in touch would be appreciated.

Open to vetting. Will not be shown ridden to any new buyer but I am open to discussion options for genuine applicants. NOTE a sensible deposit will be required. NO trials, loans or any other versions - this is a SALE only otherwise he can stay with me and I will produce him further.
Serious enquiries only — phone calls preferred

Maggie cob is ready for her new home. She has a little Welsh Cob in her so a more athletic type of cob albeit still with the feather.

She was carefully broken in the New Year and has been ridden on mainly on her own but sometimes with company. Mud, water, steep banks are no issue. Been to a couple of little jumping shows and a fun ride where she was very well behaved and travelled fine.

She has a very honest willing attitude. Enjoys jumping although not spent time in the school as I don't have one.

Good to shoe and in the stable. She is fine in traffic although I don't live on a main road. Tractors and trailers are no problem. Doesn't buck, bolt or rear.

Would make a lovely mother daughter share as although a more athletic type of cob she is up to carrying an adult. Somebody will be very lucky to have her.

I SPY

Unfortunately the time has come to find my little nemo a new home. It’s time for him to go out and show the world what he’s made of and have some fun with a child. He’s currently out of work, wouldn’t take much to get him back into work at all - my youngster has just been broken in and taking up all my time hence the sale, just lack of him which he deserves.
Nemo is a 12.2 piebald, 8 year old cob.

Over the years we have had so much fun together and done everything including:
- Hacking (alone/company/front/behind)
- Showjumping
- Cross country (competition/schooling)
- Beach ride
- Sponsored rides
- Natural horsemanship camp (groundwork)
- Pony camp
- Pole work
- Long reining
- Showing (in hand/ridden)
- Gridwork
- Lunging/double lunging
- Free schooling/jumping
- Pub hacks
- Hacking with a bike
- Dressage
I have documented his whole journey on my Facebook page under the album ‘Nemo’ where there is hundreds of photos and videos. References available.

He’s been ridden by all ages, and is happy to go on/off lead rein when needed. With incredible manners on the ground. He is also happy to ride and lead. Absolutely bomb proof in all traffic, happy to lead past the biggest of traffic.
Nemo is also an angel to travel, trailer or lorry… load first or last.

Nemo has mane and feather to die for… placing first in best coloured and qualifying for hickstead. He’s a real quality stamp of cob with some lovely comments from showing professionals. He has recently had his mane chopped for maintenance during the winter. He can be a little unsure about his feathers being brushed out and can fidget but with a second pair of hands of someone holding him telling him he’ll be okay he stands.

Schooling/in the school he is established in walk and trot but the canter is green, due to his age I haven’t pushed or rushed him in the school but it wouldn’t be hard to get the canter going more due to being a quick learner and always wanting to please - he’s more than happy to canter following someone out hacking.

He previously spent 2 summers on livery with me where I work where he had so much fun. We spent hours hacking over 100 acres of land alone and in company, bareback in the summer and is perfect in open spaces.

Stables beautifully, super clean in the stable and manners to die for in/out the stable. Comes in alone and won’t make a fuss, happy to lead with another horse no matter the size, or in a 3.
He also completed summer camp with a couple of little girls where he did all activities with them.

Nemo has had the winters off with me, due to wanted him to mature correctly and spend time just being a young pony. This has done him the world of good. Has come back into work each time after time off like he never had time off.

He’s been clipped twice with me which he was great about, one bib clip and one full body out apart from legs - couldn’t part with his feathers! he was super!

Nemo does have fleshy mouth which is soothed with the correct bit (peewee bit) and gentle hands while riding. He has two wolf teeth which he hasn’t had removed has as not causing any problems.
He is dominant in the field, would suit individual turnout or with another pony who will stick up for themselves.
He wears a nose net to help with the pollen, more so in the summer but I have kept it on all year round and it has helped his nose flick.

More than happy to answer any questions anyone has, I can’t stress enough how wicked this little pony is, and is he was bigger he wouldn’t be going anywhere. I want the best for him and that means letting him go.
Looking for a 5* home and all potentially buyers will be asked for references.
Many photos/videos available! Based 10mins from Gatwick.
Can come with bridle which already has his peewee bit on and his rugs at extra.

  • Future 13.2hh with real potential

  • Well handled and ready for his family now!

Quality 2yo Coloured Gelding | Serious In-Hand Prospect | Future 13.2hh

Rising 2 (2024), currently 12.1hh, expected to make 13.1–13.2hh.

A smart, correct Welsh-type / light cob with presence, movement and a genuinely kind, people-focused temperament. A well-started young pony with clear potential for the future.

Easy to catch – comes to you in a field
Very people-oriented, enjoys interaction
Easy to handle
Rugged and managed correctly through winter
Gelded Nov 2025
Vaccinations up to date
Feet recently trimmed

Eye-catching markings and a balanced frame
Trainable brain – willing, engaged and kind
Strong contender for in-hand coloured / youngstock classes next season
The type that, once backed and produced properly, becomes hard to find and highly sought after

What he needs:
Someone who will enjoy the process — daily handling, in-hand work, and correctly producing a youngster over time. This is about nurturing and developing a quality pony, not rushing him on.

Home sought:
Ideally a Pony Club family with other ponies growing up alongside children, where he can be part of a consistent, knowledgeable environment.

Important:
He is a young pony and will behave like one (will test fencing if not live)
This is a future asset in the right hands, not a budget pony.
Price reflects quality and potential – serious enquiries only.

  • Your ultimate best friend/mother daughter share

Perfect 148! Gelding 7years bay with a white belly and white wide stripe. Irish sport cob so just the right amount of bone.

What can I say other than Buddy is my absolute heart pony and a very hard sale of my best friend. Circumstances force sale

Where do I start……. Well he would pretty do most things, he would be great for someone wanting to go down the British showjumping route, RC, PC, NSEA, working Hunter shall I go on.

Buddys bold and brave, he is a little power ball with the friendliest of characters.

He is now 7 and has an old head on his shoulders, always leading the youngsters who are on springs, he is mr save my Arse!!

He would make a brilliant mother daughter share, im 44 and he is my main ride, and then my daughter will jump him and compete him as well.

Buddy has been on the Devon teams for the last 2 years, he has done unaffiliated showjumping and BS on ticket, he would be great for someone wanting to go through juniors.

I’ve been very strict with the heights Buddy has been allowed to jump whilst he has been growing, currently now competing at 80, training at 90 with plenty of bold scope for more when your ready.

He loves XC, he loves hacking, beach ride fun rides etc

Great to clip, catch, shoe etc

Just enough bone, lovely strong clean straight limbs

Forward and responsive but not silly, as good as he is he isn’t for a beginner or a nervous rider.

I want him out having fun being someone’s best friend and i definitely would like to stay in touch.

Happy to give medical history

Don’t let you put this off as it’s so easy to manage if you call it that!! He does have extremely mild sweetitch in his ears, just makes his mane/top of tail dry in the summer, the only thing I need to do is keep him in his shires fly rug, last year I tried the jabs but it didn’t do anything for him, it’s so mild I didn’t bother this year, like I say he just needs his shires rug on and his hood that’s it, so if that does put you off, then sorry to say your be missing out. He is my first with it and I think I’m luck!

I get told he would make a brilliant working hunter but showing is not my thing.

He really is my best friend, the one I can ride without thinking, if he ever spooks it’s ones that make you laugh and he just makes me smile every day, and he even sucks mints!!

He is a talented young man in so many things.

Based Devon EX17

£14,000 or £15,500 with all his correctly fitted tack and rugs saddle being a K2 Albion jump saddle.

Best of homes only who are wanting a big pony to join the family and not just a machine

Toddy is looking for his perfect partner!

Meet Toddy, a striking 2020, 14.2hh Blagdon gelding imported from Ireland. I’ve had the pleasure of owning him for the past 10 months, and he has consistently proven himself to be a talented, genuine, and versatile pony.

Toddy is a lovely ride on the flat—forward-thinking, responsive to the leg, and eager to please. He has a real passion for jumping and approaches his fences with confidence and enthusiasm. He’s also been out with hounds, where he behaved impeccably, taking everything in his stride.

He would be an ideal match for a competent teen or adult rider (rider pictured is a lightweight 5’10”), whether you’re looking to compete at a lower level, enjoy fun rides, or have a quality all-rounder. Toddy has already competed and placed at 80cm in hunter trials and eventers challenges, and he has plenty of potential for someone keen to continue his education and progress further.

On the ground, he is an absolute gem—kind, affectionate, and easy to handle. He’s a firm yard favourite and thrives on attention (especially if treats are involved).

Searching For A Family Friend / Allrounder

Ref #: 404421
  • 14.2 - 15.2hh max. Age - 6 - 13 years
  • A Gentle Natured, Polite Character
  • Lightweight Cob / Connemara Or Similar
  • 14.2 - 15.2hh max. Age - 6 - 13 years
  • A Gentle Natured, Polite Character
  • Lightweight Cob / Connemara Or Similar

I am just beginning my search for a trustworthy, best friend type to welcome to our kind, knowledgeable, family home. Our horses are treated as part of our family & they receive the absolute best of care. I would be happy to provide references & to keep in touch.

I have ridden for several years & consider myself a knowledgeable & capable rider. However, due to ongoing health issues with my horse, who is now retired, I haven’t ridden as consistently in more recent years & so I am no longer as confident as I once was. Therefore, I am seeking a laid back, best friend type, who does not need riding most days to remain safe & sane.

We will be enjoying fun hacks from home, attending organised pleasure rides, forest trips, XC schooling & some clinics…. maybe the odd local show in future - but just for fun! I will often be hacking alongside my young daughter on her (sometimes quirky!) horse, so it is especially important that I find a level-headed, trustworthy type who I can depend on. Due to us going out in our horsebox regularly, I would like to find a horse who is good to load / travel &, most importantly, who remains calm & polite to handle & ride in different environments.

Our horses are kept at home with us on a quiet yard. I would love to find a gentle natured, polite character & a true best friend type.

We live in a rural area & although we generally meet very little traffic, when we do, it is often likely to be a tractor/farm vehicle. Therefore, it is hugely important that my new horse is confident around this type of traffic.

* I do appreciate that no horse is ‘perfect’ & that ‘bombproof’ does not exist & I am open to compromise but please do just be honest about any possible known ‘issues’ as I will not buy unseen & would want to have any potential horse vetted *

We are based in Norfolk so ideally looking for something in or around East Anglia but would travel further if plenty of info, videos/photos could be provided beforehand. I have a sensible budget & very relaxed & loving forever home for the right horse.

King of Hearts– Fun & Versatile 13.3hh Gelding

King is a lovely 6-year-old, 13.3hh gelding and a true all-rounder, perfect for a confident rider looking to have fun and progress.

Experience:
- Cross country (trained up to 80cm fences with my 10 year old but has gone higher with my 16year old niece – loves it!)
- Showjumping & Pony Club rallies
- Beach rides and regular hacking (alone & in company)
- Has been hunting (can get excited)

King has happily taken my 8-year-old rider from cross poles to 70cm in show jumping by the time she was 9. Jumps a single fence of 1.10cm at home. He would happily continue with a confident younger rider but would also benefit from a rider with longer legs to get the best out of him, especially in jump-offs.

He is a real favourite on the yard – safe, fun, and can step up a gear when asked.

Easy to manage:
- Lives out in a mixed herd or can be stabled
- Barefoot and good with the farrier
- Loads and travels well (out regularly)
- Up to date with vaccinations
- Easy to clip (may require sedation for face & legs)

Lots of photos and videos available on request

Dotty stands at around 14.2h and is 7 years old. She is a super fun pony. Suitable for smaller adults and experienced children looking for a bigger pony. She loves her jumping, super brave around cross country & always clear show jumping (80cm).

Nicely schooled on the flat and would produce a lovey dressage test. She works consistently in a soft outline with good transitions and is nicely off the leg.

Out hacking she is brave and unflappable & is unfazed by heavy traffic. Nice forward going ride.

We took her to a fun ride in April with the staff college drag hounds where she was a lot of fun!

Dotty is good to do in al ways with no stable vices. Easy little mare to have around, you can park her anywhere and you won’t know she’s even there.

Won’t suit very young novice children.
