Meet Bindi - Piebald Cob Mare, 12.2HH, 11 years old. Fantastic 2nd Pony.

Bindi is the Prettiest little mare, with a gorgeous unicorn mane and a real character that loves a pamper.

We have owned Bindi 4 years originally buying her for my daughter when was 11 years old, after 2 years or riding lessons. Bindi was her first pony and has been an enormous confidence giver, teaching her to be firm and independent in the saddle.

However, despite being our first pony, I would not describe Bindi as a first pony for an inexperienced child.

She is a forward, strong and intelligent little mare who needs a confident, capable rider who can be firm and consistent. She can be cheeky and will test her rider if she thinks she can get away with it, but with the right little rider she is an absolute superstar and has so much to offer.

Bindi is a “been there done it” pony. My daughter has done almost everything on her (including pony games and riding backwards!)

Showjumping, cross country, Hunter trials, pony games, Chase me Charlie, Hacks alone and in company.

She's jumped 60cm show jumping courses and 40/50cm hunter trials and cross country and jumped upto 1 meter in chase me Charlie!

But hasn’t done as much jumping recently as my daughter has sadly outgrown her, but she absolutely loves getting out and doing something new and is ready to get back to having a job.

Bindi is also incredibly fast! (Almost beating a 16hh thoroughbred X in a race) This is part of what makes her such a fun pony, but also why she needs a confident rider. She enjoys having a good run when given the opportunity and can get very excited when she’s somewhere new.

She would make a good pony club pony for the right child as has the experience. She would probably excel in pony racing and just loves to do anything fun and loves open spaces where she can be a bit more free. (Fun rides, beach rides etc) She can get a bored with repetitive arena work and can come across a little lazy at times and need a little encouragement if she’s finding things dull, but take her somewhere exciting and she comes alive.

She has been ridden on the lead rein by my youngest daughter on hacks and is happy doing this, but she is NOT a lead rein pony and does not enjoy being led round in the arena. She really needs her own confident rider.

Bindi is very low maintenance and easy to have around. She’s good to catch, good for the farrier, barefoot all round, up to date with vaccines, lives happily in or out, currently enjoys having the option of both, easy to load and travels well.

This is a very difficult sale for us. If bindi were a couple of hands bigger, she would be staying with us forever. My eldest has outgrown her (over a year ago) and I’ve been putting off selling her because she loves her so much and is going to be heartbroken when she’s gone. I would keep her for my youngest daughter but unfortunately, she is simply too strong for her at the moment and it will be several years before she is big enough and experienced enough to ride her independently.

Like many forward, intelligent ponies, Bindi is at her best when she is in regular work. If allowed to become unfit and bore, she can become cheeky and fresh, so she is best suited to a home where she will have a regular job.

She will only go the best home. She is a much-loved pony and finding her the right person is more important to us than a quick sale.

Molly is a much-loved, genuinely kind and straightforward 14hh Irish Coloured Cob mare who has been a very special member of our family for the past three years.

She has been brought on slowly as a mother-and-daughter all-rounder and has been completely trusted by my 13-year-old daughter. Over the past three years she has enjoyed a wonderful variety of activities including Pony Club, camp, clinics, cross country, show jumping, dressage, fun rides and mounted games.

Molly is a safe, reliable and fun little pony with a lovely attitude. She is never naughty or bolshy, but is responsive and enjoyable to ride when sound. She hacks happily alone or in company, is completely unbothered by traffic and is good in open spaces. She enjoys popping a small fence when sound.

She is also exceptionally straightforward on the ground. Molly loads happily into both a trailer and horsebox and is good for the farrier, vet, dentist and clipping. She is currently barefoot, although she has previously been shod in front. She lives out in a herd during the summer and comes in at night during the winter, although she is equally happy living out 24/7 but her weight does need to be managed.

Important veterinary information

Sadly, over the past year it has become clear that Molly’s conformation and joint health mean that she is not able to cope reliably with the level and variety of work we had hoped to continue doing with her.

Molly has been fully investigated by our vet. Her hocks were treated with steroid injections in May and subsequently Arthramid, with the intention of allowing her to continue with appropriate work. Following a period of harder ground and a busy summer, including Pony Club camp and various activities, she subsequently showed intermittent mild lameness in front.

Our vet’s view is that Molly’s joints are likely to struggle with regular, strenuous or varied ridden work, particularly on hard ground. She consistently comes sound with rest.

Importantly, our vet has confirmed that Molly is suitable for light happy hacking, but is not suitable for strenuous ridden work. Our vet is very happy to discuss her investigations, findings, treatment and suitability with any genuinely interested prospective home.

The right home

This is an incredibly sad sale. Molly is very loved and we would not be looking for a new home for her if she were able to continue doing the work our daughter now wants to do. Our daughter has also sadly outgrown her.

We are therefore looking for a very special, knowledgeable home where Molly can enjoy a quieter life as a companion and/or light happy hacker, (jockeys to be ideally under 10 stone) with her workload managed carefully and her joints taken into consideration.

Molly has so much to offer the right person. She is a kind, safe, fun and wonderfully genuine little mare who has given us three fantastic years and has been trusted completely by our daughter. She deserves a home where she can be appreciated for all her wonderful qualities without being asked to do more than her joints can comfortably manage.

A seriously handsome and extremely lovable, cheeky cob looking for his perfect partner. He has a huge personality, plenty of presence, and all the makings of a fantastic all-rounder.

Don’t let his height fool you as he’s a solid, substantial lad who takes the leg well.

Duke is a good doer and has been kept fit and healthy on a simple natural balancer. He has strong solid hooves and is barefoot even with road work.

He’ll happily live in or out.

He is good to hack and farm ride in company. He can be a little unsure when hacking alone but this is improving all the time. He just needs a little reassurance and gentle encouragement from his rider.

He’s in regular, varied work, including outings to arena hires, farm rides and the gallops. He has recently been out to his first SJ comp and has his first hunter trial booked next week.

A competitive jumping home would be ideal however he would be equally happy with a less competitive rider as long as he’s kept active. He’s more of a sports cob than a dobbin.

He has naturally balanced paces and is bold and willing to a fence.

He likes to stand and be groomed, cuddled and scratched. Although don’t leave anything precious within his reach as he’ll have it in his mouth, swinging it around in no time!

Ive done some clicker training with him which showed me how clever he is. It’s helped create a great bond between us.

Duke would suit a confident and capable older child for a Pony Club type life or an active adult rider wanting a fun and versatile partner.

He is still relatively low mileage for his age. He was backed at 3 then left so didn’t start ridden life properly until aged 5.

Because of this he is not for a novice or a small child and needs someone kind, consistent and switched on who will continue to give him the education and experiences that will make him a really great type that everyone wants.

He can be a little cheeky at times (true cob fashion!) and may throw an occasional buck when fresh, particularly in winter if turnout is restricted. (I am middle aged and unfit and can sit them no problem).

Because of this, he would thrive in a home with plenty of turnout or a varied, active lifestyle where he can stay busy and happy.

Duke is a truly special pony with so much character, charm and untapped potential. He will make someone an amazing best friend and a brilliant all-rounder.

Struan of Achnacarry is a 4-year-old, 13.2hh registered Highland gelding with the kindest, most willing personality. He was lightly backed and turned away in December 2025, and has been in full work throughout spring/summer 2026.

He absolutely loves his hacking, alone or in company. Is good with traffic, bikes and machinery. Can be ridden in an open field with no concern. In the school, he tries his very best and has been introduced to polework.

Struan has been ridden by a range of ages and abilities, from children to adults. He is definitely more “woah” than “go” and is happiest having a nice, steady plod. Very little seems to faze him.

He has also started his education as a garron pony, so his groundwork is well established and he has excellent manners.

Struan has a lovely temperament and is a pleasure to have around. He is never impatient, stroppy or stubborn like other highlands.

Tommy is a true to type traditional gypsy cob with great conformation, certainly a future HOYS junior coloured contender. He has an abundance of quality, straight and silky hair. He is substantial and easily carries a lightweight adult.

Tommy has had a fantastic start to his education, spending last year as a four year old out hacking and exploring the world, then this spring he began his schooling in preparation for showing

Tommy loves to hack, either by himself or in company. He is happy to go first or last, and is sensible on the road in traffic, trotting up grass verges and in open fields.

Tommy loves children and has enjoyed jumping small fences in the school. He has been lightly but successfully shown this summer by four and five year old lead rein jockeys, and a ten year old first ridden jockey in walk and trot classes.

He has also been to his first stay away show, been in an evening performance and competed in the concurs class wearing a dress!

Tommy is a real yard favourite and turns heads wherever he goes. He is very easy to do, including blow drying his legs with a blaster.

With further education over winter, this pony is certain to do well in RIHS open qualifiers and the HOYS junior ranks. He is an all-round fun pony and would also enjoy pony club events.

He is CHAPS registered, vaccinated, has regular farrier appointments (unshod) and has a JMB (120cm) so he can compete affiliated in lead rein, first ridden, junior and open showing classes.

She really does ‘have the T shirt’ have been in her current family home for the last 3 years. She has introduced a novice teenager to hunting, low level shows including showing, showjumping etc.

She has also been driven in her younger years by her elderly farmer owner, and in fact did have a little refresher 3 years ago and had not forgotten a thing! She is a pleasure to drive to, light in the rein, and very easy and straightforward.

Whilst she’s not a sporty athletic cob, she does enjoy being ridden and always has a smile on her face and happy ears! She jumps small courses, but if you’re looking to jump more than 60cm and race against the clock she’s probably not for you.

She is reasonably forward going, but still steady if that makes sense?! She doesn’t rush off but she has active paces whilst always being comfortable. You can do sitting trot and enjoy cantering without her pulling, bunking you around or generally needing too much ‘riding’

She is happy to go in an arena and works politely in all three paces BUT please remember she has been the horse that has taught people and given them confidence, so she’s no dressage diva! She would do an accurate prelim test if that was your thing, but if you want to be on Team GB by Christmas, again, she’s probably not your match.

She’s ace on beach rides and fun rides, patiently waits if you need to scoop up kids, canters in front of behind, or walks, very nicely if you’ve had enough, have a stitch and quite frankly just want to see the lorry park again.

She’s got character, loves her hoomans and really is a type of special friend that is very difficult to find.

She’s good with all the usual things traffic, farrier, travelling etc etc

She’s up to date with vaccinations, worming, shoeing, and is open to vet.

A striking Gelding with excellent conformation, plenty of presence. He is a real head-turner who always attracts attention wherever he goes.

Leo came to us from a family member who no longer had time for him, due to family commitments. Being a 4-year-old at the time he needed a lot more work and experience than they were able to give him.

He has three lovely paces, a willing attitude to work, and always tries his best for his rider. He has been ridden by my daughter for the last 4 months, who is 15 years old.

Since being with us Leo has come on so much but does need further education. Just with general manners really. As he can try and be bolshy on the ground, but since he has been with us this has improved massively. And with more education I know this can be ironed out easily.

My daughter has now become very busy with showjumping her competition horses up and down the country. And so, we feel Leo deserves a home where he can have the attention he needs and wants. As we don’t have the time to spend one on one with him.

He has enjoyed a varied lifestyle with us, including hacking, schooling, hacking, jumping. And he loves a day out at the gallops and cross country.

He hacks happily both alone and in company, He is good to load, travels well , and stands well for the farrier, and vet (up to date with vaccinations) We have never had him clipped so we don’t know how he is with clipping.

He has lived in and out, however he does prefer to be out 24/7

He would suit an experienced teenager, or small adult looking for a genuine, quality pony to enjoy and continue producing. He would also make a fantastic mother-and-daughter share.

It’s not an easy decision Kinkx is my homebred from Mr Spanky and my previous Kimico Mare . Kimico Glor - ious. She is in full work as much as I can at the moment. She isn’t a jumper more Dressage and showing mare . Easy to do all ways . She has good clean legs with abundant feather. We are looking for any breed for LWVTB as they will need to be trialled in our RDA environment before purchasing to see if they're suited to this lifestyle before a participant can ride them. This is as much for the ponies as the suitability for riders.

Must already be ridden and has to be over 5 yrs old (RDA rules). Can accept some quirks but must be safe for our disabled riders. They will also have to pass a stage 2 vetting which can be arranged whilst on loan.

We can offer a high standard of care, a light work load so older ages are acceptable if sound.

We have stables but they live out as much as possible even throughout winter. We can offer small herd/individual turnout.
