Frank is tempting more than any other to keep and produce. He has been to opening meet and provided a lovely and mannerly day and jumped a few timbers, he’s been cross country schooling and never said no and answered every question asked.

On the flat he’s been schooled a handful of times, but reflects a horse that has been worked on for years. He hacks alone and in company and is not spooky in the slightest will lead, stay cool in open space and hack alone with no stress.

He loads, clips, farrier, catch, leads politely. He is an exceptional stamp of traditional cob and received a comment of “that’s a horse of the year show cob” and I don’t doubt it.

Open to any vet, excellent trial facilities, transport can be arranged.

14.2hh 4year old Wilkismoor Floss aka Tag. Backed and ridden sporadically since Feb, a late foal so I've not hurried him. He was easy to back, loves attention and moves beautifully.

A solid type that has a nice pop when free schooled. Easy to do, good with farrier, to clip and load. Has been shown as a baby, I have had him from weening. I'm continuing his ridden education and price will reflecreflect this as he learns and does more. Selling due to work and family commitments, I only have time for 1 pony!

Not a novice ride due to age and experience, therefore not a child's pony, YET!

Up to date with farrier, vaccinations, worming and teeth.

Open to vetting

No trials or loans.

Lola is a 6 yo, 12.2hh (approx) traditional gypsy cob, she has an abundance of silky straight feather, petite pretty head and desirable black tail.

Lola was bought direct from her breeder and has been with us for 18 months, she arrived in foal, foaled easy and was a great mum. Lola is not mareish at all and will stand all day to be groomed and fussed.

Lola has been slowly and careful broken and brought on over the summer, although she’s green she’s riding away sweetly, she has hacked out and seen lots of farm traffic with no issues. I feel Lola would be a real contender for the tgca search for a star classes and the chaps junior hoys classes with more schooling.
She is a dream to have on the yard, shes happy in or out with no vices, will go out with mares or geldings.
Good to load and travel, up to date with teeth/farrier/worming.
Lola is now ready to make dreams come true.

Very sadly outgrown - Shane is honestly one in a million, has brought my daughter from nervous novice to competent little jokey who now due to growth sprout needs to look for something bigger otherwise he wouldn't be going anywhere!

Although our daughter is horsey, we are not so getting her something sane and sensible was key for us. He has been a great friend and teacher to our daughter and given her the confidence she needed to move up to the next level.

Shane is a 6 year old piebald cob gelding he's 13h he is great at hack/jumping and XC, he was bought from a riding school so very well mannered.

He would suit a any kid or small teenager amazing for farrier vet etc he would turn his hoof to anything and would jump the moon if you asked him to, loads very well we have taken him on many adventures - he has been to beach/local parks, cross country training etc

Shane's a very honest and sweet pony can be turned with mare or gelding could live in our out.

Just had his teeth and feet done, currently barefoot

Harley, a lovely rising 5-year-old skewbald mare standing just a fraction under 14.1hh, with a little more growing still to do. Harley is a real sweetheart — kind, friendly, and full of character — the sort of mare who wins your heart the moment you meet her. She’s beautifully marked, with a proper “leg in each corner” build, great bone, and a presence that makes her stand out wherever she goes. Harley is a very versatile and genuine little mare who takes everything in her stride and always tries her best to please.

Harley is a real pleasure to ride. She’s quiet, sensible, and easy, making her an ideal choice for a novice rider, a mother–daughter share, a riding school, or anyone looking for a fun, safe and willing all-rounder. She’s well schooled on the flat, with three balanced and rhythmical paces, and she’s happy to work forward without ever being strong or silly. She’s honest over her fences, enjoys her jumping, and has been schooled over coloured poles and cross-country fences — she takes every jump in her stride with a brave and straightforward attitude.

Out hacking, Harley is as good as gold. She goes out happily alone or in company, is excellent in traffic, and is used to all sorts of farm vehicles and country life. She’s the type of pony that gives her rider confidence, whether you’re popping down the lane, going for a gallop in the field, or out for a day’s hunting. Harley should also be ideal for all Pony Club activities — she’s the kind of pony you can truly have great fun with, no matter what you decide to do together.

She has an adorable, easy-going nature and is a pleasure to handle both on the ground and under saddle. Harley is good to shoe, box, catch, ride, and in traffic. She has no stable vices, is open to any vetting, and is ready now to find her next loving home.

Harley would suit a wide variety of riders — she’s steady, reliable, and fun, with all the right foundations in place to continue her education and go on to be a fantastic family or all-round pony.

The price includes delivery to your yard anywhere in the UK, and we offer an exchange if you’re not completely happy with her.

Scroll down to view her video and see what a delightful, kind, and genuine little mare she is. For more information or to arrange a viewing, please don’t hesitate to call me anytime on 00353 868077626 or email gertytynan@gmail.com.

Harley really is a special find — sweet, steady, and full of fun — the kind of mare everyone dreams of owning.

Daisy is a very sweet, 8 year old, mare.

We have owned Daisy for 4 years and along with showing her inhand we have bred 2 lovely coloured foals off her.

This year we backed daisy Who took to it straight away. She has walked and trotted on the lead rein but no jockey to continue her work. I have no doubt that Daisy will be easy to carry on her education off the lead.

Daisy qualified for STARS in 2022 in 2 classes but unfortunately due to having a foal at foot, wasn’t able to compete at the final.

We feel Daisy needs to go on and do a job and could excel in the junior ridden coloured classes.

Alternatively Daisy would be a fantastic broodmare. She has covered and foaled easy both times, she is an excellent mother and breeds lovely small foals.

Not available until after STARs

We have had so much fun with this little mare, she is well schooled on the flat , and is a responsive ride, a smart leg in each corner type, Savi is really fun to jump, she is bold and not phased by any fillers, she is currently jumping competitively at British Novice (80cm ) she loves xc , and takes everything in her stride, ditches, water , you name it.

Savi hacks out alone and in company and is great in traffic, with farm machinery, motorbikes etc, she is good to clip, shoe, worm, dentist, she loads and travels in a trailer and lorry and will stand on her own, no bother, she is good to catch and is currently turned out in a mixed herd.

Savi would suit an established rider, she is not suitable for a novice, more of a second pony,

Approx 13.1 chunky gelding who takes up the leg well

Has done numerous Pony Club rallies, including Christmas rallies with tinsel and bells attached to him

Group hacks , has been foot perfect bombing around the farm, cantering last or first

Been hound exercise a handful of times, which he thinks the best thing ever

Has taken wobbly, bouncy riders in the school and has started working in an outline

Has a good pop on him

Been great in a riding school environment with lots going on

Is great on the ground , super friendly and easy to do and cheap to keep!

My god daughter and I have had a great time together and there is so much I can gush about him

HOWEVER

He has also been a little monkey
Being a child’s pony he has mostly done things in groups and in situations where he has been confident
When we have taken him out of his comfort zone and in new situations where he’s lacked a bit of confidence and not got it from his 9 year old jockey ( and quite rightly so ) he has shown some less desirable behaviour and has napped by running ( walking ) through his outside shoulder and at worst has gone up .
He has schooled alone fine

My goddaughter has always ridden through it with guidance , but she doesn’t want to and that’s fine so we’re in the situation of finding him a good home .

He hasn’t really tried it with the bigger more experienced riders or myself

Rodney - 12.3hh 11 year old cob blue and white gelding.

Smart little clipped cob absolute confidence giver and chilled dude. With us he has been hunting, arena hires, miles of hacking and jumping.

He’s a really smart little pony with nice paces and has a sweet jump. He will pop a small cross for a nervous child but also be more forward and really jump for more confident riders ! He has got my son’s confidence back after he fell a few years ago and totally stopped riding.

He’s perfect if you need a slow mo pony to gain confidence particularly out hunting and hacking. He wont get excited if other ponies misbehave! Snaffle mouth not strong and doesn’t do any of the naughty head pulling down etc that some ponies do.

A group can move off and he doesn’t chase other horses he just stays, very well mannered, he . He will plod around and is a leg on ride however out hacking and hunting he keeps up with the others. Totally bombproof with drones, tractors, turkeys, sheep, cows, dogs… he is fab!

Rodney is very easy going and easy to have around on the yard, totally manageable for children he’s very polite. He is quite a shy pony, not bolshy or rude. He has no vices, great health and no CPL/feather issues. Up to date with vaccinations, recently had teeth done. He is barefoot and has good feet.

His tack & rugs are available

Based Northumberland and delivery available

SHSE WHISPERING ANGEL

I am offering my beautiful native coloured yearling filly, due to a drastic change in personal circumstances. I never wanted to part with this filly, she really is one in a million.

Her siblings are HOYS ponies, and she’s pure quality. No expense has been spared on her introduction to the showing world. She even spent a few weeks with a professional team bringing her on in the ring. She has competed at Royal Windsor, County/Agri shows, BSPA, CHAPS and Equifest. She wipes the floor locally with many wins/champions.

Considering she has competed with more mature horses and many types, she always walks away in the ribbons.

She is good to load and travel/catch/lead/stable etc. and everyone who meets her falls in love. She is a firecracker and does have personality - so isn’t for a novice - but it’s what gives her that real movement and spark in the ring and she goes in there knowing she’s going to be great.

She will make full up 14.2. Vetted when I got her at 6 months direct from breeder.

Always been fed well and up to date with worming and trims.

I have lots of photos and videos.

Definitely one for an ambitious individual or show team to bring on over the years and I’d love to follow her journey.

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

Storm – The Ultimate Child’s Pony & Family Treasure (13hh, Rising 6) ??

Storm is one in a million — a kind, patient, and trustworthy little mare who has safely taught children aged 4 to 10 to ride. She’s been nothing short of amazing with them, giving confidence to complete beginners and helping them learn the ropes in the kindest way possible.

She’s a little green only because she’s mainly been used for novice riders, but when ridden by someone with more experience, she steps up beautifully and shows real potential. Storm is honest, eager to please, and loves to be around people — the kind you trust without hesitation.

13hh | Rising 6 | Mare

Excellent with children – patient, forgiving, and gentle
Hacks alone or in company
Loads and travels easily
Good to catch, shoe, and handle
Pops a small jump and enjoys her work

Plenty of lovely footage available of her teaching young children — she truly is worth her weight in gold for the confidence and joy she gives them.

Storm would suit a family, teen, or small adult looking for a safe, genuine pony to bring on and love.

A rare find — safe, talented, and full of heart. She deserves only the very best home.

Experienced all round family pony that can do a number of jobs from lead rein and first ridden through to second pony. She’s sensible but forward and a fun ride. Currently ridden by my 5yr old off the lead rein including in lots of open spaces including XC (see videos) and my 4yr old on and off the lead rein. Whilst she’s small she’s also very substantial and so I have also ridden her (lightweight 5’2).

Suitable for PC, hacking, games, showjumping, showing, eventing, working hunter (1st, 2nd and Reserve Champion last time out). She will turn her hoof to most things!

Used in a riding school for years including RDA. The riding school closed down which is the only reason why she was sold.

Easy person to look after - currently out 24/7 with or without company. Barefoot. Up to date with teeth, vaccinations, worm counts and just fed a balancer once a day. I’ll start to give her some hay outside shortly.

Comes with tack and rugs.

PANDA
Available with 28 day trial

13.1hh 10yo piebald cob mare.
Good conformation with smooth flowing paces.

Sweet natured no malice. Good to bath, load, travel, handle, farrier and vet. Can sometimes require a treat to be caught.
Loves attention and starting to soften and thoroughly enjoy cuddle time.

Ridden by all the kids, nervous and novice riders.
Snaffle mouthed. Doesn't get strong or silly. Reliable sort.
Hacks out alone or in company in front or behind. Good in heavy traffic never have to worry about little ones on board.
Forward but sensible ride, not whizzy just active paced. 1.5 type ride.

Pops a small jump honestly with kiddies. Will take the rider into the jump genuinely, all they need to do is steer. Very bold and willing little lady. Always comes home with a ribbon.
SJ & XC. Jumped 2'6ft with more capable jockeys.

Basic schooling but not yet been advanced as produced into a kids pony.

Has been out in group rides of 13 happy to be placed anywhere.
Been out competing SJ upto 50cm with first time jockeys and was absolutely brilliant. Came home with lots of 1sts!
Used for lessons for a variety of riders looking after them all.
Pleasure rides, never been spooky or silly away from home.
Beach she was brilliant swimming and cantering up and down with novice and nervous teens and kids.
XC schooling looked after nervous or novice jockeys and kept them safe. SJ schooling tried her little heart out popping everything.
Has also been hound exercise with 7yo child who has never hunted & she was amazing looking after him - as a mum I was able to breath (until he decided it was the best thing in the whole world and panda was awesome so he could go zooming off, weaving between horses, off chatting to people, jumping ditches & had no fear then I got a little nervous! But his massive rise in confidence was purely down to Pandas perfect behaviour).

Lovely little alrounder for someone to enjoy. Suit a child that is ready to go and have some fun independently and needs a pony to look after them.

13hh traditional piebald traditional cob mare 10yrs

Fun and forward going little cob who was done a bit of everything. As wide as she is tall so takes up the leg well!

Bella is a lovely girl who thrives on having a job to do. She is currently owned by an older lady who bought her as a happy hack and while she is very good when in regular work she doesn’t suit the part time life style that her owner requires, she would rather be in a routine and worked than left in the field and ridden once a week. She is a well schooled, forward thinking ride and definitely not a kick along slow cob! She is nicely responsive and also will ride off your voice, believed to have previously driven but we haven’t tried this. Good breaks in open spaces but game for a good canter. Bella will jump round a small course, she’s never going to be a world beating show jumper but gives it a go. She will also happily pop a log out hacking. Bella loves her hacking and is excellent in traffic , alone and in company and will go first or last.

She’s easy in and out the stable, sociable in the field and happy to live in or out. Good to load, catch, shoe, clip etc.

Comes with some tack.

Seen at livery.
