Menai Imagine (Imogen) is a truly stunning model of a horse, oozing presence and turning heads wherever she goes. This striking young horse has all the attributes to succeed at the very highest level and is undoubtedly a HOYS potential champion.

Professionally broken, Imagine natural physique, energy, and expressive paces come effortlessly to her. She has been given excellent foundations, coupled with the intelligence to learn quickly and a calm, relaxed outlook on life—an exceptional combination in a horse of this quality. Same home from 3 years old.

At just 5 years old, Imagine shows the maturity of a horse far beyond her years. She is incredibly laid-back, safe, and kind—a true lady in every sense. She is unphased by new environments or situations, taking everything in her stride with confidence and boldness. She is not sharp, spooky, or nervous, and has never bucked, reared, bitten, or kicked. Imagine has no Welsh quirks whatsoever. She is genuinely one of the safest and kindest horses you could wish to meet.

Imogen is safe calm and collected when ridden in all paces, she has been lightly used in a riding school environment, where she has proven to be exceptionally. She is currently being ridden by teenagers and adults, competent novice and intermediate level riders, Imagine participated in our group and private lessons, she loves to jump and is not phased by the scariest of fillers, water jump, cross country courses. She has exceptional paces and moves lightly in your hands with elegance and style, making her a graceful and chic dressage contender. She rides confidently in a double bridle.

Imogen has competed in low dressage, showjumping, working hunter classes, both under saddle and in-hand.
Her attitude, movement, and overall outlook, gives her the ability to compete at a much higher level, she has all the attributes, quality and outstanding paces to make a very smart ridden horse and versatile all-rounder suitable for a range of disciplines.

Imogen is the epitome of a safe, kind, and genuine horse. With impeccable manners both on the ground and under saddle, she is eager to please and a pleasure to work with. She truly will give her all to his next new owners.

Imogen is incredibly adaptable and would suit a wide range of riders. She is safe enough for a competent novice / intermediate level rider, mother / daughter share or a perfect partner for Pony Club and competitions. At the same time, her outstanding quality and potential mean she could equally excel as a top-class contender at the most prestigious events.

Unbelievably safe hacking through the heaviest traffic imaginable, she has recently seen double deckers buses, articulated lorries, motorbikes, push bikes, prams, dogs, farm machinery and she doesn’t look twice. The video provided was the first time we had introduced her to our very busy roads adjacent to the Riding School.

She will happily canter across open fields solo or in a group at the front, middle or back of the ride, she never rushes tries to overtake or goes too fast. She will pull up immediately and go straight onto a long rein.

Exceptional manners with the Farrier (currently shoed) Dentist, Vet, load, Travel, groom, bath, catch. Green Welsh Cob passport with full pedigree Breeding, fully vaccinated.

No vices whatsoever, clean limbs, no sarcoids, sweet itch, laminitis no lumps or bumps.

Passed our riding school licence inspection which is equivalent to a stage 2 vetting.

Quality gypsy cob mare

Ref #: 396569
  • Forward going, sensible hack
  • Owned and bred by us, so full knowledge
  • Equal Woah and Go
£10,000 ONO
  • Cob
  • Piebald
  • Mare
  • 13 years
  • 14.3 hands
  • Forward going, sensible hack
  • Owned and bred by us, so full knowledge
  • Equal Woah and Go

We have bred and owned Mulligan all her life. She has always been super easy to do, so much so, shes always the one who gets left, and not ridden. Whilst I find her super easy, and if anything, like it when shes not been ridden for a month and is a little fresh, we have had a few try her and found her too forward for them.
There is no need to kick on this mare, leg on means go. She marchs in walk and trots out, keeping up with any horse. She loves a canter across the fields and tracks, but pulls up easy in a snaffle.
Personally I find circles in an arena boring, (plus we don’t have an arena) so we do not do it. If you want a dressage horse, you will need to put the work in, as our idea of fun is hacking. However she has been to dressage and show jump shows with a friend many years ago, so the buttons will still be there, its up to you if you want them, and if so you might need to re program.
Her forte is hacking, heavy traffic is no issue, gates she’s a pro, she’s safe in open spaces, she goes first or last, and is confident on her own.
You can ride and lead her, or from her, so super easy.
She is a unit, i’m 5ft6 and she takes up my leg, and some, I’ve never felt too big for her. Shes super comfortable to ride with plenty of neck and shoulder in front of you.
She is only for sale as I’ve bred myself a taller version and if she gets ridden once a fortnight she’s done well.
If you are into your gypsy cob breeding you will see she has great breeding, and is very correct if you wanted to show.
She needs her own person, but of you are coming from a riding school, are used to kicking every stride, or are hoping for a mother daughter share for your ten year old who is still struggling with rising trot, she is unlikely to be for you, you are likely to feel over horsed.
She is kind, super fun and gives you a great fun ride.
She is and has always been barefoot, easy to clip, bath, spray etc. She is vaccinated, has had a foal (we are a stud) three years ago which she did easily and her foal is still with us (also for sale).
Her ideal home is someone who wants to hack out, have a good canter across fields, do some fun rides etc
We have them in each night, and in the winter we have little / no turnout and she’s happy to stay in 24/7. She doesn’t get fresh or silly when in.
The home and person is every important, as she is a member of our family, but she is surplus to needs at the moment, and she could give someone a lot of fun.
She has an Albion saddle, Seddon bridle and a larger wardrobe than me that I’m happy to discuss

  • Perfect first/second pony
  • As bombproof as they come
  • Easy to handle in every way

Sweetie is called Sweetie for a reason!

A lovely 12.2hh 2015 Irish Leisure Cob mare, who would make an ideal first or second pony for a young rider.

Sweetie has a kind, genuine nature and is very much a “whoa before go” type, making her particularly suitable for less confident children looking to build their confidence and enjoy their riding. Equally, when partnered with a more determined rider, she is capable of producing some lovely flatwork and always tries her best.

Sweetie has no vices and is easy to handle in all respects. She is good for the vet, farrier, travelling, etc.

The only thing worth mentioning is that she is not keen on having her legs clipped, due to previous mud fever beneath her feathers. However, she is never nasty and can be managed.

A much-loved pony looking for her next little rider to enjoy and cherish her.

For more details please WhatsApp me on 07510665400! Calls won’t come through due to bad signal on the farm!

BOB THE COB!! He’s looking for his trusted partner

Fun, athletic, enthusiastic second pony, not a novice ride, who enjoys doing a job

Bob would make a great pony club pony and would excel in regular consistent work. He steps up for the stronger rider and will pop around the bigger tracks. Bold and confident attitude towards jumping. However, occasionally likes to bust a move,. On spring grass he could be likened to Michael Jackson if left grazing ad lib!!

produced by older teen but has regularly had small people ride him. He responds well to those who gain his trust.

Excellent to load, will go lorry or trailer, shoe clip vet and teeth, is barefoot and is excellent with the farrier. Hacks anywhere and is great in traffic, has seen tractors, planes and automobiles. Will ride and lead. Would be great as a hunting pony. Bob has done camps ,clinics, local shows and dressage.

Awesome, intelligent trainable brain, he needs to trust his partner but boy when he does he will jump the moon for you.

Mid to low 4 figures

  • Ultimate confidence-boosting safe kids pony
  • Impeccable manners in and out of the stable
  • Beautifully marked pretty pony with 3 lovely paces

Meet Bonnie, the ultimate confidence-boosting pony!

She's a 13hh 8yr old all-rounder who loves teaching her little rider through all disciplines, adapting perfectly from a nervous novice to a competent competitor.

Bonnie is not fazed by an unbalanced complete beginner bouncing around. She looks after them and adapts perfectly to the skill of her rider. She is as perfectly behaved with a little rider as a taller one.

She will happily step up a gear with a more experienced rider, working in a beautiful outline, with 3 lovely paces. Always has great comments from dressage judges.

Bonnie adores children and has been cared for daily by my 12-year-old daughter. She's a joy to own, and is very easy and straightforward.

She has impeccable manners both in and out of her stable, and is kind and gentle especially with children, and senses if they are nervous, where she will be especially calm and gentle with them.

In the two years we've had Bonnie, she's transformed my daughter from a nervous rider to excelling in dressage, showjumping, and One Day Eventing. Bonnie is successfully competing at Prelim with high 60% scores and consistently places in 40cm and 50cm showjumping. She's even won a local riding club One Day Event

Bonnie happily hacks alone or in company. Will lead or follow. Great with opening gates, dismounting and mounting, all traffic, bikes, dogs, runners. Will leave the group to go for a separate canter /jump. Will stand patiently at the roadside waiting to cross/join.

Loads and travels extremely well. She is always loaded by my daughter, and is a pleasure at shows, happily standing on or off the box/trailer.

Perfect for clipping and bathing! Great in any arena, never fazed by new surroundings. We have done several arena hires/ clinics, and she never changes in a new arena or with strange horses.

She's done lots of farm rides/ cross country schooling. She's great in open spaces, happy to have a gallop, but will equally happily plod on a longer rein if asked.

Will happily go on a horse walker alone or with other horses.

Will graze in a mixed herd. Currently grazing in a large herd of mares. Not fazed by day or night turnout, and easily adapts to winter turnout of alternate days out.

Up to date with worming, teeth, farrier, physio, saddle fitter and vaccinations.

Comes to call in the field. A real eye-catching, very pretty pony with a super temperament. This is a heartbreaking sale, and only for sale due to being outgrown by my now very tall daughter!

She will only go to the very best of homes.

Countless videos and photos available.

  • Will make any mother’s dream come true, as their child will be safe and happy.

Penny has been with us in our small loaning yard for a year now. She has done it all from teaching children to canter to cross country days at different venues to being plaited up and pony painted!!!!

She is as patient as they come and as loving as your loyal best friend. She has beautiful manners and is everyone’s best friend.

On flat work lessons she teaches children to canter and is happy for a less confident child or a child that wants to work on position. She is mannerly and works through her transitions beautifully all in a snaffle bridle.

Jumping she jumps well up to 50/55’s great cross country and very happy to jump a filler or plank. She’s happy to go around a course in trot or canter and always try’s her hardest and listens to the most smallest rider.

Hacking wow she is a superstar with a large group or alone she is always well behaved and easy going. Good in traffic and open spaces. Will jump the ditch and small hedges out and happy to potter around the village to get her riders confidence.

She is such a fabulous pony and has everything to give your child from confidence to rosettes at the local show to being the safest.

This is a hard sale for us but as summer holidays come and children go on holidays we aren’t as busy so something has to be sold.

Guinness

12.2/12.3hh, 7yr old chunky cob gelding.

Owned for 5 years and now very sadly outgrown.

He is a little pocket rocket and would absolutely excel with a small, competent jockey. He is a lovable, cheeky lad and has the sweetest temperament.

He would walk around all day long with a beginner on a lead rein but he’s not a “first ridden” pony as he is forward thinking and not a plod.

He thrives on work and is better suited as a second pony. He would be great at pony club or for someone who loves hunting or XC as he has a cracking jump on him!

He is good to hack out and will easily lead from another horse if required.

Lives out mainly but happy to stable if other horses are next to him. He is easy to clip, good with farrier (barefoot), good in traffic and great to catch in the field in the middle of a herd. Loads and travels perfectly herringbone in a lorry, in a trailer he has a tendency to hang his legs on the breastbar so caution is needed!

He is up to date with everything. Will come with some tack and is an absolute bargain

Based in north Nottinghamshire. Sorry no loans.

Looking for a mother's hunter type horse of the genuine, safe, mannerly, experienced kind! Open to buy or Loan. MUST have previously hunted not just seen hounds please!

Doesn't need to be a George Clooney in appearance! Happy to consider an older horse looking to step down from the bigger hunting days who would settle into smaller jump country.

No need for world beaters or puissance horses as we hunt the more trot & pop, trappy country not large grass fields with hedges but it must still be happy to go off alone and jump. MUST be good with hounds around it's legs and go off alone leaving the field happily when trail hunting!

Apart from being 15.2 hh and above (may consider a little smaller if well built) with a good shoulder in front, there is no other specific requirements - just a safe and experienced horse that won't erupt into outer space if left unridden for a week.

Based in the North East. Kept on a small private yard with other horse friends!

Thank you for taking the time to read! Keeping fingers crossed that someone, somewhere will have something to suit!

15hh Welsh Cob gelding looking for his next home.

Barney is a quality young Welsh Cob with excellent traditional breeding, including the renowned Seiont, Nebo and Derwen bloodlines. He is a lovely stamp of a horse with plenty of presence and potential for the future.

Over the last year we have taken a step back from ridden work due to my own time commitments and focused on groundwork, confidence building and helping Barney develop a better understanding of what is being asked of him. He has benefited greatly from this slower approach and has matured well.

Barney was lightly backed previously (2025) and showed promise before being turned away to continue his education from the ground. He is now ready for someone knowledgeable to take the next step with him and continue his development.

His sale is through absolutely no fault of his own. With family life and a young child taking up more and more of my time, I simply cannot give him the consistency and attention he deserves.

This is a genuine sale of a much-loved horse. He is priced to reflect both his quality breeding and his current level of education, offering someone the opportunity to put their own stamp on a well-bred young horse with a bright future ahead of him.

I struggle with phone calls so please where possible text first

Rio - 7 year old 15hh Welsh D x PRE

A super fun and confident chap, Rio is well schooled with good paces. He’s polite in the contact and has his basic lateral work down. Snaffle mouthed for everything.

Great to hack out alone or in company, good in traffic. Jumping is where he really excels, he takes you in to a fence and can make a great shape.

Very brave, never spooks at fillers. When he’s excited he can throw in a buck out of exuberance, nothing unseating but because of this he’d suit a more confident rider.
He’d be an ideal horse for someone who’d like to get out competing straight away, he’d pop round a 90 track tomorrow quite happily and move up quickly. He’s been to PC camp, done mounted games etc and behaved well. Rio has been XC schooling at a few venues proving himself to be bold and scopey.

He’s an easy horse to have around, has lovely ground manners and a friendly, cheerful attitude. Good to catch, lead, shoe and load, no stable vices. Turns out on his own or with others.

Rio is sold on behalf of a client.

Mabel is a real head turner, she’s smart and beautifully marked with 3 correct paces. We have owned Mabel for 3.5 years and she’s been brought on by my 15 year old Daughter. Shared with Mom who enjoys hacking her out.

Mabel has done all activities over past few years, arena eventing, fun rides, pony club, dressage and showjumping.

We have concentrated on her flatwork over the past 2 years. Competing regularly at BD Prelim dressage with 60+ dressage points on her record, Mabel always receives positive feedback from judges. Competed Summer and Winter PetPlan Area festivals. Lots of potential to progress if correct flat work training continues with a knowledgeable rider.

Brilliant to hack out alone and in company, my daughter hacks her out for miles alone. Mabel is a fun and forward ride and enjoys being out and about.

Can be a typical mare and has put in the odd excited buck on canter transition when schooling. Kept at a busy livery yard and used to big heavy machinery/tractors going past and she’s good on roads with traffic.

Mabel has a big jump and takes confidence from her rider. She started stopping at showjumping jumping clinics so we haven’t jumped her for several years. Would need a confident rider to restart jumping but unsure if she would be happy doing so. We have lots of videos of her jumping from a few years back if you wanted to view these. Would rather jump poles than walk/trot them.

Front shod only. Will live in or out with mares or mixed herd.

Good for farrier, clip, catch, load and travels well. Up to date with teeth, vaccinations, back etc.

The right home is really important so looking for a confident teenager, small adult or mother/daughter share to enjoy. Ideally a hacking/showing/dressage home or potentially hunting which I am sure she would enjoy.

5 stage vetted when we bought her and open to any vetting. Tack/Rugs may be available at separate negotiation.

Much loved and a very sad sale as outgrown and moving onto horses. No time wasters please
