  • Riding School Pony
Dora is a lovely 12.2hh, 5-year-old cob mare with a kind and genuine nature.

She is a responsive ride who works well in the arena, happily walking, trotting and cantering, and is confident over poles. Dora is sensible and straightforward, with no spooky behaviour.

She has been used successfully in a riding school environment with both novice and intermediate riders, proving herself to be reliable and willing. As a young pony, she is still gaining experience and education, but she has never shown any signs of bad behaviour – she has never bucked, reared, bolted or displayed any nastiness.

Dora hacks out confidently both alone and in company and is good to handle on the ground. She stands quietly for grooming, bathing and the farrier.

Due to her responsive nature, Dora would not be suitable for a complete beginner, but she would make an excellent second pony for a rider looking to progress and have fun.

She has no known health issues and is open to any vetting. Viewings are welcome.

Searching For A Family Friend / Allrounder To Enjoy Hacking, Pleasure Rides, & Low Level Adventures

  • Full Up 14.2 - 15hh Max. Age 8-14 yrs
  • A Gentle Natured, Polite Character
  • Lightweight Cob / Connemara Or Similar Type

I am searching for a trustworthy, best friend type to welcome to our kind, knowledgeable, family home. Our horses are treated as part of our family & they receive the absolute best of care. I would be happy to provide references & to keep in touch.

I have ridden for several years & consider myself a knowledgeable & capable rider. However, due to ongoing health issues with my horse, who is now retired, I haven’t ridden as consistently in more recent years & so I am no longer as confident as I once was. Therefore, I am seeking a laid back, best friend type, who does not need riding most days to remain safe & sane (realistically, I will generally ride 3-4 times a week).

We will be enjoying fun hacks from home, attending organised pleasure rides, forest trips, XC schooling & some clinics. I will at times want to hack alone but will also hack alongside my young daughter on her (sometimes quirky!) horse, so it is especially important that I find a level-headed, trustworthy type who I can depend on. Due to us going out in our horsebox regularly, I would like to find a horse who is good to load / travel &, most importantly, who remains calm & polite to handle & ride in different environments.

Our horses are kept at home with us & have all year turnout (stabled overnight during winter). I would love to find a gentle natured, polite character & a true best friend type.

We live in a rural area & although we generally meet very little traffic, when we do, it is often likely to be a tractor/farm vehicle. Therefore, it is hugely important that my new horse is confident around this type of traffic.

* I do appreciate that no horse is ‘perfect’ & that ‘bombproof’ does not exist & I am open to compromise, but please do just be honest about any possible known ‘issues’ as I will not buy unseen & would want to have any potential horse vetted *

We are based in Norfolk so ideally looking for something in or around East Anglia but would travel further if plenty of info, videos/photos could be provided beforehand. I have a sensible budget & very relaxed & loving forever home for the right horse.

TY - full up 14.2, 9 year old cob gelding.
A real leg in each corner that takes the leg well and is up to carrying weight.

TY has spent the majority of his life in a riding school and has attended beach rides, group hacks, small XC days. He happily hacks alone or in company and is good in the traffic he’s met. Used to country lanes where he’s come from but has hacked out on our busy road here and was good as gold.

Works away in the field and is good in open spaces, been around the small XC fences here no bother and pops a pole in the school. He’s no world beater just a nice low level allrounder. He is a leg on ride, more woah than go and doesn’t need riding every day.

Would suit a variety of riders from more novice with a good support network, to any level of rider that just wants to pootle around and not pick up too much speed!

Ideal type for hacking/fun rides/low level stuff/riding club clinics etc.

Easy to do day to day, good to catch/clip (bit fidgety but not an issue)/load/travel/farrier - barefoot with big solid feet.
Here on behalf of his owner, genuine reason for sale which I’m happy to discuss.
Tack available at extra cost.

  • Beautiful girl that’s has done abit of everything

I have an amazing 13 hands 6 years mare.

Neigha has been my son's second pony from his lead rein pony and she has been amazing bringing his riding on and she hacks and is brave as a lion. Been hunting and jumped logs to the biggest of hedges. She jumps around 60's still can be a little green in this sphere. But with time and schooling I can definitely see her having a great future and going on to be a great bsja pony. Really ready to go on and further her education this summer. Her vaccinations are up to date so you could pick her up and take her straight out and start building a relationship. This mare has great scope and great technique.

She is a complete legend hacking out alone or in company goes first or last completely trustworthy and always leaves her rider with a huge smile. Great with traffic and open spaces. Been on hound exercise all last year and was very well behaved and jumped some serious hedges and trappy fences all with a 8 year old on.

You can leave her on the lorry by herself and she will happily stay there and behave, she has beautiful manners anywhere she goes, her temperament is truly exceptional. she will be dearly missed, but my boy is wanting the next step up.

Would be a fantastic pony club pony but we have had an awful experience of pony club so we don't go. But she has done clinics and cross country sessions with friends river rides. Great pony to take to camp and she will give everything a go.

She is a cracking girl and ready for her next little person to love her.

Daisy - 14.2hh Welsh Section D Mare – Stunning Palomino All-Rounder

A much-loved and genuine pony looking for her next rider to enjoy and progress with.

Dainty Daisy is a smart, 17 year old 14.2hh Welsh Section D mare who has been with us since 2023. She is a much-admired pony who has given our daughter amazing experiences, competition success, and taught her a huge amount. We’re now looking for her new home as our daughter has moved onto a larger horse.

Daisy is an experienced and versatile pony who has been very active in Pony Club, taking part in the full range of disciplines from show jumping, arena eventing, cross country and dressage through to racing, working equitation, games and camps.

An intelligent mare with plenty of character, Daisy thrives on varied activities and loves having a job to do. She has been consistently placed across show jumping, arena eventing and dressage, including qualifying for the 2026 Spring Festival at 80cm. Last year she competed at the North Cup, placing in dressage and jumping a clear round in the 70cm show jumping. More recently she achieved 1st and 2nd places in arena eventing at 50cm and 60cm this May.

Daisy loves getting out and covering ground, hacking through fields, hills and woods.

She is a brilliant fun pony for a rider who enjoys adventures, farm rides and exploring.

She has lived happily in a herd with mares and currently with geldings. She is

straightforward in day-to-day management, great with the dentist and farrier, good feet, loads herself, but clipping may need sedation. She lives out all year with a field shelter.

Daisy is a steady, sensible pony who benefits from a positive rider and will step up a gear when asked. She can become heavy on the forehand at times, so best suited to a rider with reasonable confidence and strength. She is also happy on lead rein with beginners of all ages.

Our main priority is finding Daisy the right next home where she will continue to thrive.

Very hard decision to sell our beautiful Ozzy, will only go to the best of homes which will be vetted, please no time wasters.

Ozzy has 3 flashy, balanced paces, we feel he would excel in a dressage or showing home.

Ozzy has competed at BS in his previous home, he has a lovely jump but we have found him to be inconsistent, needs a confident rider to bring the best out in him.

Will hack alone but happier in company, good with all traffic.

Currently on a busy riding school yard and has settled well, happy to be stabled but likes as much turn out as possible, he came from a private home and feel this suited him better.

Good to catch (mostly), shoe, with the vet and dentist, can be clipped without sedation but sensitive around his tummy/legs.

Good to bath.

Up to date with saddler and physio.

Loads and travels well on a 3.5 and 7.5 lorry, have not tried him in a trailer.

Currently ridden and handled by 12 and 14 year olds who were fresh out of riding school, having said that we have found he is not a novice ride in all situations. Sadly becoming outgrown but also feel he would be better suited to a confident teen or adult and a knowledgable family due to his welshy ways!

Beautiful 14.3hh New Forest Cross Mare – Exceptional Home Only

Skyler is a stunning 14.3hh New Forest cross mare, turned 5 in April, with a striking mix of white, chestnut and roan. She is sired by the Buckland Skyline and has been with me since a foal, so her full history is known and available.

She has been produced slowly, correctly, and never rushed — only by some of the best natural-horsemanship-based trainers in Oxfordshire. Her education has been thoughtful and consistent, giving her a wonderful foundation to continue progressing.

She had the recent winter off and is now back in training.

Sire: Buckland Skyline

Skyler is a lovely mare to ride, very forward going — she moves beautifully and has a naturally soft way about her. I hacked her all last summer, both in company and alone. She enjoys hacking and schooling (She has only done light schooling, due to age).
She is still young and learning, so she does take confidence from her rider. She thrives with someone calm, consistent, and knowledgeable who understands natural horsemanship principles. With the right partnership, she will continue to flourish.

She has been stabled previously but genuinely prefers living out with natural shelter. She is happiest in a routine and respects fencing and can share with mares or geldings.

Brand-new, professionally fitted saddle and bridle available to purchase with her if desired.

Currently based in Oxfordshire with my trainers due to lack of grazing livery where I live.

This is a very difficult decision, and she will only go to the best home. She is not a horse for just anyone — she needs someone who values correct, kind, horsemanship-based training and can offer her consistency as she continues her education.

Hundreds of photos and videos available. She is open to vetting.

Full passport.

Buzz is looking for his next family as sadly outgrown, he has been with us for just over 2 years and done everything from all pony club activities competing both years at area qualifiers and going on to Regional Champs for eventing, dressage and showjumping usually coming away in the ribbons. We have had 2 brilliant years at camp with him.

Last year he qualified for NSEA Hickstead grassroots Champs and came 5th in the 60cm SJ out of 200 and 4th in the 70cm out of over 100 competitors as he is a forward going pocket rocket and is great at the tight turns for jump offs. He has a very scopey neat jump.

We have also had last year doing Riding club and qualified for Dressage, Showjumping (60,70 & 80cm) and combined challenge, competing at all 3 champs and again coming away with ribbons in most.

He has been out hunting both seasons and as proved a absolute pleasure as jumps everything from walls, rails and hedges without being strong and silly.

He loves going to the beach, fun rides and messing around with friends.

Buzz is a full of life character and a much loved member of the family so looking for a knowledgeable 5 star home where he can be out and about doing what he likes best.

Genuine Smart Cob , Mare, 13 years, 13.2 hands

Billie -Jo is a fabulous pony with the most kind and wonderful temperament.

Billie -Jo is a 13.2 hand Cob pony, 13 years old. Billie -Jo has had a 4-month break from riding as I haven’t had the time to do anything with her. Billie-Jo is need of a competent rider to bring her back into work. Prior to this, Billie had spent the past year being ridden by a 13-year-old rider and whom had been handled by an experienced riding instructor 5 days a week to keep up with her schooling.

Billie -Jo is ridden in a snaffle, has 3 consistent paces and carries herself in a lovely nature. She loves her jumping and will easily pop round a course. She has also taken part in some hunts in Ireland.

Billie -Jo enjoys going out hacking and is good in traffic. She is happy to go first or last in company as well as alone.

Billie-Jo is very chilled and laid back and easily adapts to busy environments. She adores being made a fuss of and will happily stand there and let you groom or tack her up.

Billie-Jo would make a cracking pony for a rider who is willing to spend time and to put their own stamp on her.

Billie-Jo is up to date with all her vaccinations, worming, teeth and physio. She is good to shoe, clip and catch. Billie-Jo has been seen regularly by the saddler for refits when required and has never had any issues. She passed her 5 stage vetting with flying colours in October 2024. She has no vices or behavioural problems.

This is a sad sale as unfortunately the current owner has outgrown her. She is a perfect fit for a confident rider looking for a rewarding partnership. Billie-Jo deserves a 5 star home with someone who can give her the love and attention she deserves.

- Based at a foster yard in Buckinghamshire -

Will is a lovely young cob looking for a quiet, private home where he can continue his education at his own pace towards becoming a ridden pony. He can be considered a sensitive project, so will require an experienced, patient handler to bring out his full potential. Due to his size, he would be best suited to a child.

Kind and gentle by nature, Will enjoys a calm, consistent routine and would thrive in a home where he can build confidence and trust. He would also be well suited to in-hand showing, where he can really shine as a smart young cob.

A hardy type, Will is happy living out with geldings. Still settling into his current routine, Will is looking for someone willing to give him time and understanding. In the right home, he has the potential to develop into a rewarding ridden pony as well as a lovely companion.
