HANDSOME BOY RAGNAR

Ragnar

13hh

Ragnar has been backed by my 9 year old and has been a star. He has done beach rides, fun rides, hunted, goes to the gallops and is sensible and safe he has also done some local shows and dressage and really enjoys his work.

He is good with the farrier, clip, bath and load (my 9 year old loads him on her own.)

He is stabled currently but can also live in or out he doesn't mind being the first out the field or last he can also be left on his own and not be bothered, hes very easy to catch.

He has just had his teeth done (had his wolf tooth taken out in Feb) up to date with vaccinations and worming.
He is barefoot and has great feet we do quite a bit of hacking with him.
He will go first or last and hacks out confidently on his own always looking after his rider.
He is great in open spaces.
He will jump logs and coloured poles and goes through any water you ask.
He would suit a teenager or small adult but equally would make a good LR pony not suitable as a FR purely due to his age.

The type of boy you can leave for weeks and jump back on and he will be as good as gold.

His only 'vice' is that he can pull faces when he has a hard feed in his stable.

Sad sale of a much loved pony but feel he is wasted with us and could go far with the right partnership.

Will come with his tack and rugs.

Lionswood The Duchess

Duchess is 13.3hh currently and is expected to make 14.1hh. She will be 4 at the end of June.

I bought Duchess as a 2 year old for her super temperament. I was told by the breeder she would make 15hh. Unfortunately she won't make that and to say I am gutted is an understatement. I need 15hh minimum as I struggle with a pony stride due to my MS.

For the last 16 months she has been trained using a mixture of natural horsemanship and positive reinforcement. But she does understand the word 'No'.

She is great with the farrier and the vet. She has had her wolf teeth removed and the vet commented on how good she was. She is up to date with teeth, worming and vaccinations.

She loads and travels well.
You can fully clip her, even the tickly bits.
She comes to call.
She lives in a herd of mares but has lived in a mixed herd no problem.

Sh does get sweet itch in the warmer weather but it is only mild and is easily controlled with sweet itch rugs and fly masks of which she has 2 of each and these will go with her to her new home.

Duchess is a completely unspoilt blank canvas ready to start her ridden journey, and maybe her showing career. I am just really sad it won't be with me.

Price negotiable for the right home.

Top Class Dual-Graded Native Coloured Stallion

  • Dual-Graded with CHAPS & BSPA
  • Multi-Championship Winner - Exceptional Inhand CV
  • Beautiful Type - Correct Conformation - Kind & Mannerly
Rodney is a top-class, minimally marked native coloured stallion, rising five years old and standing at approximately 14.1hh. A stallion with tremendous bone, depth and true substance, combined with straight, correct movement and undeniable presence.

Despite being every inch the manly stallion, he is exceptionally mannerly and level-headed — you genuinely wouldn’t know he is entire. He has a laid-back outlook without ever being a plod; genuine, trainable and straightforward to work with.

Outstanding In-Hand Show Record - Lightly but very successfully shown as a yearling and three-year-old in youngstock classes, carefully campaigned and never over-produced. He has never been placed outside the top two, consistently Highest Placed Native / Hairy, including at:

Derbyshire Festival
Royal Windsor
CHAPS Championships
BSPA Championships
Equifest
Royal Three Counties
Great Yorkshire
Newark & Notts County
Staffordshire County
Royal Norfolk
Midlands Youngstock Show

Multiple Championships and Supremes to his name, building an exceptional CV from limited outings.

Rodney was backed at the beginning of 2025 and produced slowly and correctly with longevity firmly in mind. Last season’s aim was purely to secure grading credentials, which he achieved with ease:

-CHAPS UK Graded (In-Hand & Ridden)

-BSPA Graded (In-Hand & Ridden)

-Passed two 5-stage vettings

-PSSM1 Negative

-Full recorded breeding in his CHAPS passport

He is now established under saddle and ready to progress into novice ridden classes as a rising five-year-old, having been thoughtfully produced and never rushed. He absolutely loves to hack out, works nicely in the ménage and has attended several arena hires under-saddle.

Rodney has been in the same home since a foal. H is up to date with vaccinations, physio, dentist and farrier. He is Clean-limbed, no vices and is easy to handle and manage.

Ponies of this calibre very rarely come onto the open market.

Offered only due to complete lack of time. He is far too good to stand idle and will only be sold to a knowledgeable 10* home where his potential can be fully realised. Videos available upon request.

Can be viewed with Lucy Glover. Based in Nottinghamshire. Absolutely NO timewasters, picture or video collectors.

Serious enquiries only.

  • A real head turner

Annie is a rising 7-year-old, 14.1hh Gypsy Cob with an exciting future ahead of her. Professionally and sympathetically broken, she is straightforward, willing, and a genuine pleasure to have. Genuine reason for this sad sale due to personal circumstances.

This special mare has qualified for TOYS and Quest every time she has entered the ring, showcasing her talent, temperament, and natural ability. With masses of mane and tail, dripping feather, and a deep, rich colour, she turns heads wherever she goes. Her exceptional breeding shines through in her impressive movement and ring presence.

Up to date with vaccinations, worming and trimming.

Same home since a foal. Has had the winter off, would need bringing back into work. Sad sale due to lack of rider.

No payment plans.

  • Lightly shown (affiliated) with success

Tweedfell The Duchess (Dolly) is a stunning minimally marked coloured 137cm mare that oozes quality.

Dolly has a beautiful natural self-carriage, and light, uphill paces. At a show, Dolly has the ‘look at me’ factor and carries herself beautifully. She is happy to be pampered and polished while stood on the lorry and had a successful season in hand as a two year old.

Dolly has excellent breeding (bred by the Tweedfell Stud) and has a beautiful head just like her sire. Her sire Asby Mills Warrior is graded by both CHAPS and BSPA and has been a finalist at HOYS and RIHS on multiple occasions.

I have given Dolly a fantastic start to her education and she is now looking for the perfect home to continue this. Dolly is easy to do, she lives out, stables, or lives in a crew yard shared with another pony. Dolly is good to tie up, clip, trim, bath, for the farrier, leads in and out of the field by herself or as a pair, loads, etc.

Dolly is CHAPS passported, fully vaccinated, in show condition, wormed to date and has her feet regularly trimmed.

Dolly has been home produced by myself (amateur) so is eligible for all of these show classes. She is already 3 years old and is ready for more groundwork in preparation for breaking in.

A very sad sale of a fantastic, quality youngster who I have put a lot into.

6 year old, 13.3hh traditional cob

Up to date with jabs, farriar, dentist

Poppy would suit a capable teenager or small adult, she’s been shown by a competent novice but wouldn’t be a first pony as can get strong. Schooled well, winning every time out then turned away to mature more.

Absolutely loves jumping but is green.

Good to hack alone and in company in the heaviest of traffic, farm machinery and emergency vehicles.

In full time work she is a mother's dream pony but because of her young age she can be very impatient.

Good to clip with a lickit, stands for farriar, to be groomed and bathed but can be fussy bathing her left side.

Fantastic to load but a madam to travel, cannot be travelled in a trailer with a breast bar as she will rear when car is stationary (traffic lights, junctions) fine whilst moving, we have not tried her in a lorry. we travel her cross tied in an open trailer and never had an issue getting to and from shows.

More videos and photos available on request.

Sold from the field as sadly we no longer have time to continue her education. Last shown in-hand 28/09/2025 winning champion

Beautiful 13.1hh, 7-year-old mare looking for her forever home to enjoy a bit of everything.

Triple inhand graded stallion (BSPA / CHAPS / TGCA) ( ridden graded with TGCA and CHAPS)

I’ve owned Cody since he was 6month old he is now 5 he has had a great inhand career with just some results being reserve overall supreme at bsps championships / won burwarton show / won and champion at royal Welsh small holding show and 3rd royal Windsor. He has been professionally broken and had a great start with his ridden education and now being continued in his novice showing season with being at equifest 2025 with great results.

He is good to hack alone or in company good to catch.

He has established 3 paces but is NOT a novice ride and must be confident with stallions.

In the right hands I know he will go all the way but he needs someone that can put the time into him which i currently do not have.

Have loads of photos from 6 months old upwards . Based in Worcestershire
