Frank is a pony of a lifetime. A happy pony, he is a super dressage rising star but will turn his hoof to anything - showing, hacking, pleasure rides, hound exercise. Pops a small fence happily. Ridden competitively by an adult but would be equally suitable for a junior rider as he is polite and mannerly.

A handsome Traditional Cob this pony is practically perfect. He has just started his BD career and has contested 4 classes with 3 overall wins and qualification for the Regionals at Prelim in just 2 outings and sold with the ride. A forward, responsive ride he is working Novice at home. Confident in warm ups and competitions indoors and outdoor.

Frank is easy to do in all ways. Hacks out alone or in company, excellent with traffic, is so sensible we use him to lead the young horses off to introduce them to hacking. Has been lightly shown - the judges love him! A pleasure to ride in company on pleasure rides or out with hounds. Lives in or out. Easy to clip and with the farrier. Loads and travels well. I am a 27 year old rider looking to take the plunge and buy my first horse, after years of sharing at the same yard. Would also consider full loan.

The requirements include:

- Cob or cob cross between 14.3-16hh (rider is 5ft8)

- Ideally aged between 8-14. Would accept younger if very sensible and safe but nothing younger than 6.

- Gelding preferred but open to mare if affectionate, kind and not mareish

- A safe, fun and sensible allrounder looking for a varied life, including happy hacking, lessons, fun rides, camps and clinics!

- Must be sane and sensible out hacking and be used to a variety of things, including cyclists, various machinery and manage motorway bridges and train bridges with encouragement.

Weve made this very hard decision

Bill is rising 3 (3 in January) cob who oozes so much potential. He is currently standing in the stick at 13.3 and I think should make 14.1 already.

Hes very well handled on the ground, I know all his background from born, his breeders we got him at 5 months old in a horrid state (not from breeder)

Hes been out showing this summer and done amazing qualifing for ESUK and weve been told to get his passport over stamped for CHAPS as told by numerous judges he will do very well.

Passported, chipped vaccines up to date, perfect for farrier. Hes needed for nothing at all.

Been out riding and lead next to our other cob weekly, been sat on and rode around farm and field bareback by my daughter. Had saddle on him and walked around. Bitted in a bridle, no care in the world.

Stands to be washed and plaited, loads of travels very well.

Was gelded at 11 months old with us by Thortons.

This is a difficult decision so a good home is a must. Hes an easy boy and adores humans and fuss.

Comes wiith his rugs, perfect time to build a bond with him ready to start in spring and he will be easy for someone.

Seeking my next perfect pony! Must haves between - 14 h and 15.2h, between - 6 and 17

Ideally to be within 2 and a half hours of Derbyshire. Would consider going further for the perfect one !

My preferred breed is a chunky Connemara type just because I love the breed so much , but would consider something else that fits the bill !

I previously had a bad accident with my last pony on the road with a tractor and my confidence is very low , it's very important that my next pony is a very safe confidence-giver. I am aware no horse is perfect but I don't want anything sharp or spooky and nothing that bolts , rears or bucks , strong etc so I can get confidence back for this reason I wouldn't want anything super young and green.

I have had weekly dressage lessons and then monthly lessons with jumping and spent a lot of time hacking ,before my accident. I have had horses for many years and was a competent rider until my accident where I lost confidence and i haven't ridden regularly for a while now , which is why its very important my next pony is safe and willing to help me get back into it.

It's finally come the time to advertise our beloved pony Rosie. This mare has been the best thing to ever happen to my daughter who was once a very nervous rider. Rosie has looked after her from the moment we had her, moving from poles on the floor 2 years ago, to this summer winning at NSEA Summer Championships at Hickstead in the warm up 40cm Style Class and 5th in the main class.
