The Ultimate Confidence Giver; PC Schoolmaster – 15.3hh 16yo Irish Mare for Annual Lease:

Bessie is a very special, robust, and easy-going 16-year-old, 15.3hh Irish mare who has been a much-loved member of our family for 10 wonderful years.

She is available for lease due to her owner giving up riding and health reasons.

She is far too young to retire, currently wasted, and has so much fun and experience left to give.

She is incredibly well-mannered, wants to please, and is the ultimate "safe pair of hands" for a rider looking to grow in confidence or step up to horses. She is responsive and willing, but gentle enough that absolute beginners can sit on her.

• Pony Club / Riding Club: An active veteran of all PC/RC camps, rallies, team competitions, and hunting. She started off as a hunter as her main job for 3 years .

• Jumping: Bold XC and loves showjumping. A reliable double clear machine comfortably jumping 90cm–1m, but equally happy to step down to teach a less experienced rider.

• Flatwork: Highly responsive, willing, and excels at dressage.

• Hacking: Safe alone or in company. Used to heavy farm machinery, livestock, pheasant shoots, and brilliant at nannying nervous horses.

Ridden in a snaffle. She has zero vices—never bucked, reared, kicked, or bitten. Can be left for a while without her temperament altering. Impeccable manners. Children can easily catch, lead, and load her. Will happily stand untied while you get organised.

• Stable Care: 100% easy to shoe, clip, load, and for the vet/dentist.

• Keep: Lives in or out (currently out until the weather gets really poor). Happy in a paddock alone (see others) or in a herd. Low maintenance with front shoes only.

We are looking strictly for a knowledgeable, private Pony Club family home for a teenager progressing from ponies to horses. Bessie needs a home where she will be respected, loved, kept active, and get to go out and have fun doing the job she loves. Regular updates are an absolute must for our family.

Bessie is available on a full-time lease for an annual sum of £1,000, with the leaser taking full responsibility for her day-to-day upkeep, care costs, veterinary fees, and insurance , with a formal lease agreement in place .

QUASI DK 17.2hh 8yo gelding

Advertised on behalf of owner

I have produced and competed this horse since a 3yo, but as his owner is now well in her 80's she is struggling to come to competitions but still wants to see the horse. A fantastic opportunity for a keen rider that hasn't the funds to purchase a horse. Versatile horse that could compete SJ / dressage / eventing or hunt this season. He has done a little bit of everything so far. Loaner/Leaser would be required to cover all expenses. No novices, horse is sane and safe but equally a big competition bred horse.

Therefore offering him for full loan (to stay on full livery at current yard LE67) or for full lease with a lease fee of £5,000 per annum if to move to another yard further afield. Requiring a full commitment with contracts etc in place.

• Beautiful mare with 3 striking paces.
• Available on Long Term Loan

PSH Mirror Image aka Vicky is available for Long Term Loan.

She has previously evented at 4* level. Due to injury she was retired and given the correct rehabilitation to recover.

This Beautiful mare is now ready for the next chapter in her life being spoilt in a new 5* home. She has 3 beautiful paces, is affectionate and loves a good fuss. Good with the farrier, travel, clip etc.. hacks alone or in company. She would be able to compete lower level dressage but unfortunately her jumping days are in the past.

No novices as this Mare is still a competition horse in her head but in no way is she hard to handle or nasty. Would be perfect for a competent home looking to fuss and love this beautiful girl. She is very much loved on the yard but deserves some one to one care and fussing.

All enquiries welcome. Please contact via WhatsApp Susanne on the mobile number provided or Gary on 07966 151512.

• Private loving home awaits
• Good budget for the right pony
• Life long home

Seeking my next perfect pony! Must haves between - 14.2h and 15.2h, between - 6 and 15 , although would change for the perfect one.

Needs to be within 2 and a half hours of Derbyshire. would go further for the perfect one

MUST be safe around traffic , farm machinery , farm animals ( as I live on a farm ), happy hacking , schooling , fun rides , smaller jumps , local shows - showing , dressage etc

All year round turn out on private land , living with a Connie gelding and mini Shetland gelding ( can be in separate field)

Massive stables roughly 4 times bigger than an average one ! videos and pictures can be provided

Lots of land to hack around.

My preferred breed is a chunky traditional Connemara just because I love the breed so much my previous Connemara gave me so much but he is retired now , but would consider something else that fits the bill , but Connies really are my fav !

I previously had a bad accident with my last pony on the road with a tractor and my confidence is very low , it's very important that my next pony is very safe confidence giver. I am aware no horse is perfect but I don't want anything sharp or spooky and nothing that bolts , rears or bucks , strong etc

more woah than go

I would prefer no health issues but if it's something slight I will consider.

more must haves are good loading , good for farrier , dentist , for leading and for the vet.

I have had weekly dressage lessons for over a year and then monthly lessons with jumping the year before , spent a lot of time hacking ,before my accident. I have had horses for many years and was a competent rider until my accident where I lost confidence.

I am aware this is a lot to ask for but I know somewhere they must be one for me :) genuine 10 star home awaits thanks !

• Genuine amateur’s dream – will take a miss and help her rider out
• Super temperament – easy to clip, handle, hack and do everything with
• Homebred Arko mare – jumping Discoveries and cross-country schooled

Lily Ballerina is a beautiful homebred 6-year-old, 16.2hh chestnut mare by Arko, out of Cara Ballerina, who jumped successfully up to 1.40m.

Lily really is a rare type to find. She is exceptionally kind, genuine and forgiving, with the sort of temperament that makes horses like her incredibly hard to replace.

She is currently jumping British Showjumping Discoveries and has also been cross-country schooling. She is straightforward to a fence, will happily take a miss and help her rider out, and isn’t the sort that needs everything to be perfect.

She would be ideal for an amateur, young rider, mum or family wanting a quality horse to enjoy across a range of disciplines. She could happily showjump, do clinics, cross-country, hacking, riding club and general all-round activities.

Although she is athletic and has plenty of blood, she is not sharp or difficult. She is the sort of horse you can pick up and put down, rather than one that needs riding every day to keep her manageable.

She is extremely easy to have around the yard and is very good to clip, handle and generally do everything with.

Lily has had a five-stage vetting. The only minor point identified was a congenital/birth cataract. We were advised that this should not develop any further and was not expected to cause her any problems. We are completely open about this and are happy for any prospective lessee to discuss it further or have their own vet assess her.

We bred Lily ourselves at McCashway Stud, so her full history is known.

She is available on a long-term lease at £4,000 per annum to the right home. The priority is finding someone who will appreciate what a genuinely lovely, uncomplicated mare she is and give her a first-class home.

Serious enquiries only.

Desperately seeking a Fun, Low-Level All-Rounder for mature, lightweight/small, experienced Lady Rider.

**Novice Welsh Cob Stallion Available for Lease**

An exciting prospect for an ambitious rider, this quality Welsh Cob stallion has been professionally backed and brought on this year. He is now ready for someone to take him further. He shows promise over jumps as well as on the flat, and would make a fabulous M&M working hunter.

Already successful in hand, he recently attended his first ridden show, where he was placed and impressed with his manners and potential.

By the late great, Glanvyrnwy Temptation, he has exceptional breeding and the traditional stamp that is increasingly hard to find. For someone with HOYS ambitions, this is an opportunity to bring on a promising stallion without buying outright.

Available **for lease only**. He can remain at his current yard near Macclesfield, Cheshire, if preferred. Please get in touch for further details; terms to be agreed.

• Previously Produce horse to 4* level

4 Event Horse Wanted*

I’m currently looking for my next event horse, either an established 4* horse or one with the quality and potential to progress to 4* level next season.

I’m open-minded regarding quirks or horses that require careful management, provided they have the ability and scope for the job.

I’m an experienced rider and have produced my own horse through to 4*level, as well as producing numerous horses to 3* level, so I’m very happy to consider something that still needs producing or developing.

I’m 6’1” with a slim build, so ideally looking for a horse that would suit a taller rider.

Please get in touch if you have anything suitable, including horses that may not yet be advertised.
