Wanted to buy.

Sadly looking for a new horse due to lameness.

Either looking for an older experienced horse to event at 100 / novice by a young rider.
Or a competent younger horse (6yrs minimum) that has had a decent amount of training and preferably completed some events, so ready to crack on.

- 5* home
Rider has experience working on a busy professional event yard, which included a riding position. Therefore comfortable with a range of different types.

However must be good to hack and manage day to day, as on a smaller yard ran by myself and my mum.

Please contact 07497203864 if you have anything appropriate. Please state price.

Please read carefully before applying . Adults only .

I am potentially looking for someone to share the pleasure of my competition horse .

If you no how to ride she is a pleasure.
Push button, well schooled and loves to jump .
Having competed SJI and BSJA to 1.20/1.30m
She is BS registered and won two firsts at her last stay away show with me .
You will be expected to have regular lessons ( at your cost ) and have a fair share / balance of schooling , hacking , jumping .
The rest of the time she will be ridden by myself or a professional rider .
Opportunity to compete for right person .

I must stress you will need to have the time to attend the stables twice a day or be prepared to pay for services .

Amazing facilities , 2 indoor schools , outdoor , covered horse Walker , solarium , wash bays , turn out pens , hacking .

Commitment to her care more important than cost but to be discussed .

DO YOU HAVE A HORSE OR PONY SUITABLE FOR THE RDA?

WANTED ON LONG TERM LOAN / PURCHASE

Ref #: 249896
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below
  • If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.

Someone will be very lucky to have this lovely gelding he is much admired at my yard or when at shows, and everyone wants to ride him! He is happy with small people and big people on him.

He must be the dream horse for the person that wants to do a bit of everything stress free and feel safe and he makes it really enjoyable to have a horse. He will be some ones best friend and is a very bonded horse.

The last 6 months he has done a little of everything from Show Cross that he loved to a couple of hunting trips and some dressage with lots of hacking! He has also been placed in the Gillingham & Shaftsbury show which is a big busy show ring so he has seen a bit but not lots. In 2024 he did a 80 ODE and went to about 4 hunts which he was very well behaved at so he is very low milage. He has plenty of scope but realistically for longevity would be best jumping 70/80 possibly 90 ideally on a surface. But if you are training hard for 90 plus eventing he is not the horse for you. He would be an ideal hunter for a weekly or infrequent hunter.

He is a well bred AES sports horse. He is easy to clip, good to shoe, turns out with mares or geldings, travels alone in company and hacks alone or in company and is snaffle mouthed even on grass. No lumps or bumps. Jumps filler and XC jumps no problem. Good on roads with cars motorbikes vans small lorries preffers to stand in a drive way for double decker buses, artic lorries, big tractors ( we get all of those regularly!!) . He has nannied young horses this winter out hacking. A really kind useful gentleman of a horse to have around he is looking for his long term home.

He will make someone very happy!!

He will only slightly fail a 5 stage vetting on the flexsion or hard circle trot. He has not been lame at all for us and with basic investigations we can't find anything significant wrong with him. He does get tight in the back and need regular physio but less so now he is strengthening up. so he is now offered at half price and I can promise you he will be the best horse you have ever bought. I have very much enjoyed him for 6 months and his owner has owned him since a foal so full history known.

Sold as owner can't jump any more and is busy with her daughter show jumping.

Approx 17h, 9yo gelding. Lupicor/concorde lines on dam side and Platiere on sire side.

This big boy is full of personality and will give you a laugh! He suits a 1x1 home and LOVES attention.

He is very green for his age. He is naturally a more nervous character - he takes his confidence from his rider. He has a heart of gold so it is not his nature to try and chuck you off.

He is just back from his loan home where he mostly hacked over the last 2 years but hasn’t done much this year as loaner had a knee replacement. So he has come back greener and weaker than he left!

He has beautiful paces and would make a lovely low level dressage horse. He has a fab jump but isn’t fit enough at the moment as he has come back without any topline. He is big, green and weak so will need time to develop. I’d love to see him be part of the family and finding him the right home is my priority. He’s a bargain for his quality given he is so green for age.

Home is of utmost importance and will be thoroughly vetted. Videos of riding required. Not a weight carrier. Gatwick area. Price will increase as strength and schooling progresses. Quality horse for someone who has time but not budget.

Currently has warts on his sheath. Vet checked and advised should clear on their own. Have started falling off already

Videos are from before he went on loan 2+ years ago. Needs building back up.

***MISSION IMPOSSIBLE!!!***

Desperately seeking a genuine, safe, 15-16hh (Max), as a Low-Level Allrounder for a very experienced mature, Lady Rider (5’4”, 9 Stone). Geldings preferred but ‘Non-Mare-ish’ Mares considered!

Must, happily:

HACK ALONE (and in company occasionally)
Travel alone (7.5T Horsebox)
 NO Vices
Live out 24/7 (but rugged/clipped as appropriate with Field Shelter and Stable)
Good in traffic
Turn-out with other ponies or on it’s own (next to others)
‘Independent Brain’/Non-Stresser - Hacking, Travelling, occasionally turning out alone)
TB’s/TB x/ISH Type

No Vices
No Buckers, Rearers, Bolters, Nappers

This will be a pleasure ‘Forever Horse’ for myself; looking for a few years of fun and then happy to provide a retirement home. We keep two other old ponies (one 28 years old and one 16 years old) that we have owned for 11 years (and they are going nowhere!); we also keep a couple of Dogs, Chickens and a Pigmy Goat on our Small Holding.

Very experienced Rural, Private home offered and professional references can be provided. Said horse is never going to be over-worked (probably ridden 3-5 times/week and fun things/competitions probably once a month). Would suit a horse that someone just doesn’t want to completely let-go-of/wants to stay in touch. Something that needs to take a slower pace of life but still needs to be active. Don’t mind certain medical issues providing they are disclosed, or horses needing to come back into work (providing they were sane beforehand!).

Permanent/Long-Term Loan preferred.
LWVTB Considered
Possible Sale but No ridiculous prices, please.

If you think you have my Unicorn, please contact! (As close to East Anglia as possible, please). Thank you for reading!

I am looking for my 14 years old daughter. Hacking is her favourite activity, although low level showing competition would be a benefit too.

Knowledgeable home awaits.
