  • A bigger version of fab pony in the photo

My son has been very lucky to have a fabulous 14.1 pony and together they’ve done pretty much everything, always in the ribbons and had loads of fun. BUT… he won’t stop growing and we don’t have a massive budget.

Ideally, we’re looking for a 16/16.1 gelding who is capable of NSEA / SEG / Unaffiliated ODEs 90cm and Pony Club Tetrathlon, BUT he will move out of Juniors into Seniors and the horse will need to be happy doing 100cm Pony Club Tetrathlon courses.

Maybe someone going to college and wants their horse to have a great home and continue to have fun competing?

Please contact me if you have anything suitable.

We'd love a bigger version of his current pony, who is amazing!

  • 16/16.1 ideally gelding
  • capable of 90/100cm ODE and Pony Club Tetrathlon
  • don't mind a bit older, maybe someone going off to college wanting active experienced pony club home
  • will live at home with other pony friends

Grade B Amateurs Showjumper

Available for lease or long term loan

Ref #: 279261
  • She’s a real confidence giver in the ring, having been aimed towards Bronze league classes and jumping up to 1.10m with more prizes and double clears than you could count
  • She has mainly show jumped, but has done some XC schooling, hunter trailing and fun rides with great enthusiasm

Rosie ( BS name- Queen of Roses 367442 winnings £2,592). 18yo 16hh grey mare.

She’s been the horse of a life time for me. Purchased 4 years ago, she’s been the perfect amateur’s dream.

She has a great attitude towards life, and tries her best at all she does. She’s a real confidence giver in the ring, having been aimed towards Bronze league classes and jumping up to 1.10m with more prizes and double clears than you could count. We attended the Blue Chip Championships April 22 and finished 19th/120 starters.

Rosie is a fun, forward going ride who works nicely on the flat with auto changes. This being said, she is no dressage horse! She hacks alone although is better in company (scary monsters in the hedge), 100% in traffic.

She has mainly show jumped, but has done some XC schooling, hunter trailing and fun rides with great enthusiasm. Rosie is never naughty and doesn’t know how to buck/ bronk/ rear or nap. She is a buzzy ride though, and for this reason would be best suited to a quiet and experienced teenager or adult. No novices please.

She is great to bath/ shoe and generally do on the yard or at a show. She loads herself, but needs lots of space on the lorry. When she travels on my 3.5tonne, I remove the partition (and she stands like a rock), or she needs a double space on a larger lorry. She isn’t naughty, just doesn’t do well in a small space, and therefore won’t travel on a trailer. She also has a sizeable melanoma on her neck which doesn’t affect her and hasn’t changed since I’ve owner her.

She is accustomed to a good life, and therefore only 10* homes need apply. She needs a stable overnight in the winter, and it would be expected for the leasee to take on all maintenance costs. She is currently fit, well and in full work. Although she is 18 now, she shows no signs of wanting to slow down. I would prefer a home where she is mainly jumped up to 1m though.

100’s of photos and videos – please get in touch for more info. I will want to keep in touch and visit regularly. Homes with be thoroughly vetted. Based in Leicestershire, would prefer for her to stay within surrounding counties, but negotiable for the best of homes.

He has beautiful yard manners, is friendly and affectionate and is well behaved with farrier, dentist, vets etc.

He loves hacking alone and in company, will happily go first or last, is excellent in traffic and steady around farm equipment, bikes, dogs etc. He has recently been used to lead a young pony and rider.

Mivi has been ridden by children, however he is quite forward going and can still be quite exuberant in canter, so would be ideal for a lightweight teen/ adult/ mother-daughter share.

He is currently based just outside Norwich, with his owners being in Suffolk. Looking for a 5* home only, more than happy for people to try him and take him for a hack. Feel free to contact for more information.

  • I am looking for someone who would like the opportunity to join me and my 2-year-old cob on a long-term basis.

Ideally I am looking for someone who can assist me in training and breaking a youngster. Someone who would be willing to share some of the responsibility and cost, preferably someone with experience who can can commit to a long-term project.

Trevor is a stunning piebald gelding with full traditional feathers. Currently standing at just under 14 hands to make a minimum of 14’3. He is kept on a beautiful farm just outside of Westbury with other horses. There are acres of private land available for hacking (when the time comes next year) and for schooling, and exploring.

My situation has recently changed which means sadly I can’t give as much time as I was able to before. I am looking for someone who can come and share him, and enjoy him as much as I do, and really take on as much as you are willing.

I would be happy to negotiate a 50/50 share for the right person.

Please call for more details and to arrange a visit.

One of the main issues that RDA groups face is finding an Equine to suit the needs of the participants in their group.

We are regularly contacted with offers of Equines that are ‘the ideal RDA horse or pony’ when actually what is ideal for one group may not be for the next. We are trying to move away from the stereotypical view that RDA Equines are elderly and somewhat static, our horses and ponies need to be fit, healthy and athletic to cope with the lifestyle in an RDA group.

They can range from smaller, forward going ponies to weight carrying cobs and can take part in a range of disciplines from Riding to Carriage Driving, Vaulting to Show Jumping and Endurance.

If you contact an RDA Group about your Equine please be prepared to fill in an Equine Initial Interest Form which will ask you many questions about your horses’ temperament, health history, experience and lifestyle. Many groups will prefer to have an equine on trial to make sure they are suitable for the job.

For long term loans and purchases they will also be required to have a Pre-Purchase Examination.

If you think your equine has what it takes, please contact one of the groups below.
