Dressage Horse for Loan/Lease

Ref #: 403225
  • Fantastic movement and breeding
  • Working Advanced with talent for higher levels
  • Easy to do and always the yard favourite
  • KWPN
  • Dark bay
  • Gelding
  • 12 years
  • 17.1 hands
  • Fantastic movement and breeding
  • Working Advanced with talent for higher levels
  • Easy to do and always the yard favourite

Henry is a beautifully bred dressage horse who has been professionally produced from the start, giving him a fantastic foundation. Working at Advanced level, with green changes and passage. He is fit, well and ready to go out and compete – something he absolutely loves.

He has three expressive, adjustable paces and plenty of power with lots of gears in the tank. Previously competed Area Festivals at Elementary, before stepping up to Medium level. Unfortunately a minor injury set us back and with my work commitments I’ve not been able to get him back out competing where he belongs.

On the ground he is an absolute gentleman – kind, affectionate and incredibly easy to handle. He’s basically a giant dog and loves attention.

Under saddle he is a professional-level horse who thrives with the right rider. He can be spooky at times, so he needs someone confident who will give him reassurance, clear guidance and ride positively. With the right partnership he has so much to give.

Currently based in Romsey, Hampshire at a professional yard with excellent facilities and tuition available.

Ideally suited to a competent or professional-level rider who perhaps doesn’t currently have the budget to buy a horse of this calibre but would love the opportunity to ride and compete a talented dressage horse.

I am flexible with arrangements – part/full share, loan, lease etc – as the most important thing is finding the right person. He truly is my baby and deserves nothing but the very best partnership.

Please message for more information or to have a chat.

Loving Home Wanted for Real Head Turner Black Mare
15.1hh black Cob mare – a true gem with the kindest nature you could wish for.

Temperament: As kind and genuine as they come. Easy to shoe (shod on fronts), load, clip, catch etc.

Riding: A real “turbo cob” who loves her hacking. She’ll happily go for miles alone, nothing phases her, and she stood beautifully at the Autumn meet despite it being my first time. She loves to go forward but is never silly - making her safe, fun, and confidence-giving.

Presence: A real head-turner with her striking black coat

Experience: Ideal for someone who enjoys fun rides, hacking and local shows. She’s full of character, loves her work, and will give her rider endless enjoyment.

This mare is so much fun and deserves a kind, caring home where she will be cherished. She is not just a horse, but a partner who will bring joy to the right person.

Looking for: A thoughtful, loving owner who values her kind and genuine nature, appreciates her forward-going way, and wants a horse to enjoy life with.

Rory - Grade A showjumper for loan/lease

  • Schoolmaster
Rory is a 15 year old, bay, Dutch Warmblood gelding standing at 16.1hh, he is a Grade A showjumper and is the definition of a schoolmaster - he took his previous owner from jumping 1m up to jumping 1.40m tracks!

Since I have owned him, Rory has enjoyed a quieter, more varied life, he has been jumped for fun (he loves his jumping!) and taken out to arena hires and a couple of competitions.

Rory comes off the lorry and totally knows his job once he is there and loves it!

He doesn’t like to hack alone but will go with friends, he is great in traffic - will have the occasional spook but nothing nasty/dangerous.

He doesn’t have a long history of this, but since I have owned him he has experienced skin allergic reactions. He has been allergy tested which showed he was allergic to several things so we have learned to manage his flare ups which has worked well. Happy to discuss this with anyone interested along with any medical history.

Would suit a competent teenager coming off ponies or a competitive adult.

Loaner to cover full/part livery. And any additional cost to be covered.

To stay at current yard in Somerset.

More photos and videos available upon request.

Tesio P - BS 420499 - 16hh, 14yo. Grade B, winnings of over £10,500 (1884 points)

By Billy Mexico

Fantastic international record- a prolific winner at 1.20-1.30 across the UK and Europe up to CSI3*, winning huge speed classes.

More recently she has been on lease for 2 years with a young rider, whilst I had my first baby, teaching her the ropes as she stepped off ponies.

Tess's 2025 Qualifications/ Results:

Silver League Semi Finalist
National Winter Silver League Championships
National 1.25m Championship
National 1.15m Members Cup Championship Final
1.10m National Amateur Championship Qualifier - Second Round
Top 10 placings in international classes, including the Silver Tour Final at Chepstow CSI1*
6th British 1.10 Speed Derby at Hickstead
Tons of top 10 placings at National level up to 1.25

Tess is a very special little mare, easy to have around and is so lovable. She would suit a quiet rider with soft hands, who enjoys a fun and positive ride. She can be buzzy in the warm up, but she's an absolute poppet and genuinely tries her best for you.

We bred her so all history is known - no health issues, vices etc. I am only leasing her again as I am now expecting my second baby and I won't be able to give her the time she deserves.

I would ideally like her to stay in the Sussex/ Surrey area, but open to Central/ South East of England for the right home.

She will only go to a top 5* experienced home, who are used to keeping and competing competition ponies/horses.

Tess is offered on a 12-18 month lease contract, whilst I am on maternity leave.

Available from March 2026.

Excellent references will be required.

SERIOUS ENQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE. Call to discuss.
