We have produced her and she has always been willing and straightforward to a fence. She has plenty of jump to go jump the top tracks BS equally would do working hunters as so attractive on the flat.

Works in a loose ring snaffle.

She is only for sale as we have 1 x 128 and 2 x 138s and also a top eventing pony that my daughter needs to concentrate on.

3-year-old spotted dun SPSS-graded Sports Pony mare expected to finish at 14.2hh.

Home-bred as a higher-level PC/RC all-rounder prospect for a competitive amateur rider or experienced teenager, but would also suit endurance, western disciplines, mounted games or showing (e.g. spotted, part-bred Foreign Breeds, Sports Pony, part-bred native, or WHP).

Widgeon Hill Ceilidh is by Highland pony Balmoral Sport and out of the ApHC-registered and SPSS-graded mare Chamfron Chipita, who brings in versatile American Appaloosa and Quarter Horse performance bloodlines (including a dose of TB).

Ceilidh’s super conformation, movement, soundness and temperament earned her a Gold award at the August 2025 British Breeding Futurity where she was the top-scoring two-year-old at the Bromyard event. She also comfortably graded into the SPSS (Sports Pony Studbook Society) main mare studbook at the same time with a superb 18/20 temperament mark, and was award a Gold Premium SPSS Youngstock Evaluation as a 2 year old, building on her Premium award as a yearling.

- Registered and passported as a part-bred Highland
- Eligible for over-stamping by the UK ApHC as a part-bred
- Vaccinations, worm control programme, and teeth all up to date
- Genetic testing: six-panel negative, and temperament gene (DRD4) G/G - "horse may be more curious than vigilant" - which is entirely consistent with Ceilidh's sensible outlook to novel objects and situations!
- Good to catch, trim feet, groom, bath, lead, tie, travel etc
- Been to several large county shows - behaved beautifully
- Well handled with a solid groundwork foundation (leading, back-up, yielding shoulders and hind-quarters)
- Used to dogs, cats, pigs and poultry underfoot
- Lives out naked 24/7, but stables happily too
- Confident by herself in stables or field - doesn't mind her friends being taken away
- Open to vet
- Ceilidh has one blue eye and one brown eye, so if you can't stand horses with blue eyes, swipe left!

Ceilidh recently came home after spending the winter living out in a mixed-age herd of horses, one cow and two pigs (!) and is now available to view. Price is sensibly negotiable to the perfect home whilst she remains un-started, but will firm up once we commence starting her under saddle, and rise as her training progresses.

Situated in Herefordshire/Shropshire/Worcs border.

Please note: Ceilidh was originally advertised as to make around 15hh. This was an error: embarrassingly, I discovered my measuring stick was not locked out to full length and was adding 2" to Ceilidh's height.... unfortunately the HorseQuest strapline is still saying 14.3hh which is what I thought she was at that time, rather than 14.1.

Email/Text/WhatsApp messages preferred for initial enquiries as I can't usually answer my phone during office hours.

Woodview Bui is a beautiful Connemara Mare. She's simply the best! She is fabulous in every way. Beautifully schooled and produced with lovely paces.

Bui is in the ribbons every time. She is polite and calm but rises to the challenge and sparkles.

She had been Working Hunter Champion and Reserve Champion aged 4 and 5 at Peebles County Show. She's BE evented at 80 and 90 and always been in the top placings. Bui represented Scotland in the Under 18 Championships at Chillington Park. She was on the winning team jumping double clear and finishing 6th overall.

She is great to hack out alone or in company, sensible but great fun.

Bui is a really kind mare, she loves her work and tries hard to please her rider. She has a great trainable brain and relaxes into her work quickly and confidently.

Bui loves to jump and is getting better and better everytime. She's so brave and bold cross country ( but also safe!) She's never stopped or run out.

She is a serious prospect in WHP, Eventing and Dressage.

She had had 12 top 10 placings including 6th at Under 18 Championships. 4th and double clear at her 1st BE90 as a 5 year old. And never had a Cross Country fault. This season she has finished on her dressage score at both events coming 2nd and 5th. Now ready for the next step up.

Serious enquiries only as Bui deserves the absolute best home. She will be your pony of a lifetime and this sale is done with great reluctance.

  • Kind and safe

This mare is a beautiful, kind, safe superstar in the making. She always turns heads, is super safe, and at just 4 years old has already achieved high 60s at BD Prelim.

Professionally backed and produced, Hope has been in the same home since she was 5 months old. Originally purchased as a companion baby, Hope has been handled and produced in a soft, quiet, and calm way. Hope was backed last September and has been lightly hacked and schooled over the winter. She went out for her first outing in March and has pleased the judges with her attitude and paces every time. Considering she still needs more balance and practice, her self-carriage, obedience, and willingness to try are just fantastic.

She has 3 lovely, active paces, with an active trot that could really be produced further, while her walk and uphill canter have always been highlights. Hope has been out in the heaviest traffic, with other horses, and never worries. She has worked over poles on occasion, and last week she went for her first jumping lesson and proved there is nothing she will not have a go at—she loved it! We haven’t schooled cross-country yet, as that is next on our list, but I am certain that with her brave personality this will be just as easy. She has been ridden by a small adult and jumped by a 12-year-old girl.

Hope is forward in a lovely way and has never bucked, reared, or bolted. She trusts her person and is always wanting to please—she is NOT your typical bolshy Welsh! She is great to load and with the farrier, vets, etc. We have never clipped her, so I’m not sure about that. She has never been sick or lame, has no vices, and everything, including her teeth and vaccinations, is up to date. She even saw the physio on 06/04/26. She has been so easy to back and work with, a real sweetheart, and looks stunning!

Hope has done her companion job and is now ready for her own little person or people to have fun with. I can see this pony excelling in any discipline with the right home—a 5-star home that is prepared to put the time and effort in. We love Hope very much, and she will only be sold to the right family.

Based near Peterborough/Stamford.

  • Actively looking for the best Pony Club ponies
  • Some fabulous knowledgeable homes waiting
  • No fees for sellers

I have motivated clients looking for genuine, kind, quality and proven ponies to take part in all Pony Club activities.

The ponies I would love to hear about are those not needing to be advertised to secure a new home. There is no harm in finding out whether I know of a better home and match. Perhaps you worry about your child finding it upsetting seeing their old pony regularly at rallies etc - then selling out of area could be a better solution.

These are motivated buyers receiving guidance as to what will likely suit their child - not the timewasters regularly reported. In most cases homes are also knowledgeable: simply lacking in time to conduct a search themselves. Most will also wait for the right pony so if you are not ready to sell yet - that is not an issue.

There are some decent budgets available relative to age and medical conditions etc.

All leads will be handled with discretion. Please feel free to give me a call, drop me a WhatsApp or check out my Instagram page @theponysearchagent

  • Jumping potential

A seriously handsome and extremely lovable, cheeky cob looking for his perfect partner. He has a huge personality, plenty of presence, and all the makings of a fantastic all-rounder.

Don’t let his height fool you as he’s a solid, substantial lad who takes the leg well and feels much bigger to ride. Rider in pics 5ft 6.

Duke is a good doer and has been kept healthy and well on a simple natural balancer. He has strong solid hooves and is barefoot even with road work.

He’ll happily live in or out.
Up to date with teeth/vacs/physio/farrier

He is good to hack/farm ride in company and will sensibly gallop in a group without getting strong.

He’s in regular, varied work and is ready to start going out and building on his competition experience. Equally he will be happy with a less competitive rider as long as he’s kept active. He’s more of a sports cob than a dobbin.

He has so far been to arena hires, farm rides, gallops and some low level SJ.
He’s worked at home within whiteboards.
We aim to get him out to some XC schooling and the beach next.

He has naturally balanced paces and shows real promise over a fence. He is a bold and willing jumper and once he understands what is being asked, gives everything a go. With the right rider to continue his education, he would be a super competition jumping pony.

He likes to stand and be groomed, cuddled and scratched. Although don’t leave anything precious within his reach as he’ll have it in his mouth, swinging it around in no time!

Ive done some clicker training with him which showed me how clever he is. It’s helped create a great bond between us.

Duke would suit a confident and capable older child for Pony Club or an active adult rider wanting a fun and versatile partner. He is still relatively low mileage for his age. He was backed at 3 then left so didn’t start ridden life properly until aged 5.

Because of this he is not for a novice or a small child and needs someone kind, consistent and switched on who will continue to give him the education and experiences that will make him a really great type that everyone wants.

He can be a little cheeky at times (true cob fashion!) and may throw an occasional buck when fresh, particularly in winter if turnout is restricted. (I am middle aged and unfit and can sit them no problem).
Because of this, he would thrive in a home with plenty of turnout or a varied, active lifestyle where he can stay busy and happy.

He can be a little unsure when hacking alone but this is improving all the time. He just needs a little reassurance and gentle encouragement from his rider.

Duke is a truly special pony with so much character, charm and untapped potential. He will make someone an amazing best friend and a brilliant all-rounder.

Comes with bridle, rugs and possibly saddle.

This is a much loved pony, so finding the right match is an absolute priority. If I weren’t too big for him, he wouldn’t be going anywhere.

  • A real enjoyment for having a job to do
  • Nicely schooled, enjoys his jumping
Meet Sparrow, a very well-bred and registered Section A pony with a kind, loving nature and a real enjoyment for having a job to do.

He is a very sweet pony who is nicely schooled, enjoys his jumping, and absolutely loves hacking. Sparrow has been ridden by a range of abilities and is happiest with a child who has a longer, more secure leg. He wouldn’t suit a very wobbly toddler/small rider, as he can get a little nervous with unbalanced riders, but he thrives with a more confident jockey.

Sparrow can be slightly spooky out hacking, but nothing silly, and he’s improving all the time. At shows he can get a little excited, and has thrown a rather lively buck, though this is getting better with each outing.

He is easy to handle on the ground – loads well in both lorry and trailer, stands happily for bathing, and has been clipped without issue. He is also up to date with vaccinations.

A lovely pony looking for a kind home where he can continue to have fun and build confidence with his rider

Romeo is currently being sold from the field at a much reduced price due to owners current situation and lack of time and finances. He hasn’t been out of work long so wouldn’t take much to get going again.

He’d make a great second pony for a confident child or equally would suit a small lightweight adult

He’s hacked alone and in company, is good in traffic and has been ridden happily in open fields without getting strong.

He moves well on the flat and could produce a nice dressage test in the future.

He’s jumped upto 70cm including courses of fillers and shows lots of potential to be produced further in this area if his new rider wanted. He could make a great nsea/pc pony in the future.

Up to date with farrier dentist vaccinations etc

He’s a huge bargain for someone willing to put the time in to get him going again after he’s been turned away

If you want plenty of fun and rosettes this one is for you!

Scooby is a lovely boy who deserves a home that truly loves him.
He is best suited to an experienced home who understands that ponies are not machines and they have their own personalities.

Pros:
He goes in a snaffle
He doesn’t stop
He will go fast or slow depending on rider
He is barefoot
He prefers to live out
Recently went to a BS show on a ticket and popped around the 70cm with very little preparation I truly believe this pony will make a child very happy this summer

Cons:
Has been seen to crib When left in a stable for long period of times
If you take him with another pony jumping and remove other pony from the lorry Scooby will get upset- I have left him on my 2 horse with a stallion partition with no issue but some people might feel differently about the noise he makes on the lorry!
Tacking up he might get fidgety as he wants to get on with the job

Squid is a 12h 10yr old welsh section a. He is a sweet pony who is easy to handle. He has three fantastic paces and is well schooled holding a consistent outline.

As well as his fabulous schooling, squid is a talented jumper and has been popping round 80cm fences at mine. He has competed up to 70cm in the riring with multiple placings.

Also, squid has been driven in his previous home however not by current owner.

Squid holds many qualifications and wins to his name. Proving him to be a successful pony in the competition ring and an experienced pony.

Here's some of his achievements to list:

Showjumping: lots of placings up to 70cm (with scope for more)

Workers: only did 3/4 classes but always placed 1-3rd including 2nd at Suffolk show

Dressage:
• Countless wins unaffiliated dressage (almost all intro tests as that’s all I could do) at many different venues, often scoring +70% with listed judges
• Riding club national championships qualifiers (area 14): 1st individual prelim, 1st pairs
• RDA regionals: 1st open grade 6 walk only (highest score of day about 74%)
• RDA national championships: 1st grade 6 walk only, class champion grade 6 (highest score), 1st freestyle. Scores over 70%.

Squid isn't a first pony however I believe he would be a lead rein if also ridden alongside a more competent rider and he loves his work. Squid is a forward pony but not nasty in any way.

Good to shoe, clip ect. (Currently barefoot has been shod in the past)

CINDERS (Synod Rhythm Cindy)

A genuine, talented, much-loved pony looking for her next child to have fun with.

Cinders is a smart, established all-rounder with a lovely dressage foundation and plenty to offer a confident young rider wanting to enjoy Pony Club, riding club, dressage, hacking, and fun competition outings.

She is beautifully schooled, works consistently on the flat, and has produced lovely BD results. She enjoys having a job and is a responsive, enjoyable ride for a capable rider.

She also enjoys cross-country, hacks happily alone or in company, is sensible in traffic, and is straightforward to shoe, clip, and load.

Cinders is happily jumping around 70-90cm and would suit a child wanting a fun, quality second pony to continue progressing with.

She is not a first pony, simply because she is a more established, responsive ride who enjoys being ridden positively.

Isla
13.2,10 year old, new forest type, mare
Stunning mare with tonnes of showing experience!

This little mare hasn’t only got the looks, but the moves as well. Isla has been in a riding school, but before this she did a lot of showing and excelled in the sphere! She has three lovely, balanced paces and is not buzzy, but not too leg on either (the perfect way I believe).

Isla is perfect out hacking, and proved this when I took her on the 50mph road outside of our yard and she did not batter an eyelid, even when a car zooms past her. She is not at all spooky and will hack out alone and in company. She isn’t strong and silly.

Sadly, whilst in the riding school she did become a little sour in the school which meant that schooling is not her favourite thing to do anymore. I feel that the more time that she spends out hacking and having a varied lifestyle, she will find the love for schooling again.

Isla loves a pamper, amazing to bath, clip and be groomed, she will stand all day. She is barefoot so low maintenance. Can be turned out alone and in company, with mares or geldings she doesn’t mind! Very kind and affectionate mare in the stable and adores a cuddle. She loads and travels fabulously. Overall a very easy pony.

This will be a perfect pony for someone who wants an all rounder to have fun on!

*Placed Discovery Championship at Blue Chip Championships 2026

*Cross Country schooled and loves it - jumps in to water.

We imported Nellie as a 4yo from Ireland and my daughter has produced her from the beginning.

She is forward off the leg without being strong, never spooky and rarely stops. She is a really sweet pony with a loving character.

She is still in Discovery points but just started jumping Foxhunter which she is finding easy.

She is super consistent placing in 3 out of 4 of her classes at the recent Arena UK Summer Pony Premier. Already has 3/4 Discovery clears for 2027 and newcomers clears too.

Nellie also attended Pony Club Camp last year where she Cross Country schooled including jumping in to water. She loved it and we think she will make a top level Event Pony as well.

Nellie is a really lovely, kind pony with so much more to come.
Very sad sale as my daughter is now concentrating on her top track ponies and upcoming GCSEs.

Strictly no time wasters, we are in no rush to sell as we will continue to produce her and increase her value.
Low to mid 5s or near.

Messie

13.2hh Welsh section C, rising 11.

Messie is responsive ride, without being sharp. He works in soft outline, he has a fabulous expressive movement and enjoys his jumping.

Messie would make a brilliant second pony for someone wanting to go out and compete. Since being with us he’s competed at Unaffiliated dressage and Unaffiliated jumping taking his current rider from jumping 50cm to courses of 80cm and schooling higher at home. He’s also been to Farm rides and XC schooling. He hacks out alone and in company and brilliant in open spaces without his temperament changing.

He’s stabled on a dairy farm so is used to every animal and machinery you could ever imagine.

This is a sad sale of a much loved pony, he’s been on the same home for the last 5 years and only for sale as rider is moving on to horses.

He can be pully to turn out and bring in from the field so needs a stallion chain - but has been successfully handled and ridden by current rider from her being 11 years old.
