We have owned Honey for the last 2.5years and she was with previous family for 4.

Honey is a pony club all rounder. My daughter has taken part in many pony club rallies, competitions and attended camps with pony club and Lindores, unaffiliated show jumping, x country schooling and beach/fun rides. Honey will hack alone or in company. We live on a farm so is used to farm machinery and our dogs!

Honey is a 1.5/2nd pony who needs some confidence from her jockey. She is a kind pony but can get excited at times, more so with jumping. Saying that, she has brought my daughter’s riding on lots since we have had her.

A very attractive, 13.2HH (137cm), 5 year old (2021), bay New Forest Pony. She was backed in August 2025 and has been doing a variety of educational activities since, including hunter trials, hunting, showjumping competitions, showing, lots of hacking, and jump clinics.

She is quiet and straightforward with a lovely temperament. She loves to be groomed and made a fuss of. She lives out but was stabled at night between December and March, so is comfortable being in or out. She has been a lead rein pony for the smallest children and a safe hack for older children and adults. She has given a small adult that works for us the confidence to canter again!!

As we have taken her education slowly, she is competing at 60cm but is a careful jumper and on the lunge has jumped 90cm oxers and produces a good shape over the fence. She has three nice paces and is smart enough to do show/WHP classes in due course and is good to lunge, long rein and lead off another horse.

My daughter (16) has so enjoyed riding her over the past year but how has an apprenticeship with an event rider and can only take one horse. We are looking for an experienced, five star home to continue her education and who enjoys doing all pony club activities, fun rides, hunter trials etc.

She wears a snaffle, is excellent to clip, good with the farrier, always confident to load, travels in both a trailer and horsebox, and currently barefoot. She is good with the vet and up to date with teeth, annual injections, worming etc.

Meet Bindi - Piebald Cob Mare, 12.2HH, 11 years old. Fantastic 2nd Pony.

Bindi is the Prettiest little mare, with a gorgeous unicorn mane and a real character that loves a pamper.

We have owned Bindi 4 years originally buying her for my daughter when was 11 years old, after 2 years or riding lessons. Bindi was her first pony and has been an enormous confidence giver, teaching her to be firm and independent in the saddle.

However, despite being our first pony, I would not describe Bindi as a first pony for an inexperienced child.

She is a forward, strong and intelligent little mare who needs a confident, capable rider who can be firm and consistent. She can be cheeky and will test her rider if she thinks she can get away with it, but with the right little rider she is an absolute superstar and has so much to offer.

Bindi is a “been there done it” pony. My daughter has done almost everything on her (including pony games and riding backwards!)

Showjumping, cross country, Hunter trials, pony games, Chase me Charlie, Hacks alone and in company.

She's jumped 60cm show jumping courses and 40/50cm hunter trials and cross country and jumped upto 1 meter in chase me Charlie!

But hasn’t done as much jumping recently as my daughter has sadly outgrown her, but she absolutely loves getting out and doing something new and is ready to get back to having a job.

Bindi is also incredibly fast! (Almost beating a 16hh thoroughbred X in a race) This is part of what makes her such a fun pony, but also why she needs a confident rider. She enjoys having a good run when given the opportunity and can get very excited when she’s somewhere new.

She would make a good pony club pony for the right child as has the experience. She would probably excel in pony racing and just loves to do anything fun and loves open spaces where she can be a bit more free. (Fun rides, beach rides etc) She can get a bored with repetitive arena work and can come across a little lazy at times and need a little encouragement if she’s finding things dull, but take her somewhere exciting and she comes alive.

She has been ridden on the lead rein by my youngest daughter on hacks and is happy doing this, but she is NOT a lead rein pony and does not enjoy being led round in the arena. She really needs her own confident rider.

Bindi is very low maintenance and easy to have around. She’s good to catch, good for the farrier, barefoot all round, up to date with vaccines, lives happily in or out, currently enjoys having the option of both, easy to load and travels well.

This is a very difficult sale for us. If bindi were a couple of hands bigger, she would be staying with us forever. My eldest has outgrown her (over a year ago) and I’ve been putting off selling her because she loves her so much and is going to be heartbroken when she’s gone. I would keep her for my youngest daughter but unfortunately, she is simply too strong for her at the moment and it will be several years before she is big enough and experienced enough to ride her independently.

Like many forward, intelligent ponies, Bindi is at her best when she is in regular work. If allowed to become unfit and bore, she can become cheeky and fresh, so she is best suited to a home where she will have a regular job.

She will only go the best home. She is a much-loved pony and finding her the right person is more important to us than a quick sale.

Dave has been lightly backed, in walk & trot, and has proven himself safe & sane even for an 8 yr old child who has ridden him for us as part of his education, all ridden work has been in large open spaces. Although only 3, Dave has shown he will be ready to take out and about under saddle as soon as the spring shows start, however, with his age in mind, although his is an absolute sweetheart, he wouldn't be suitable for a novice rider purely due to him being young and green. I have taken her to arena hires, clinics, showing, showjumping, working hunter, cross country and she has taken it all in her stride. She won the M&M inhand class at Northern Lights which was her first big show where she behaved impeccably. She has also been to British Elite where she did her first novice in a huge class and went beautifully. I really think she has huge potential as a WHP/ Cradle stakes pony as she has a cracking jump on her and is incredibly keen. She has done multiple showjumping competitions of which she has won and thoroughly enjoyed, as well as this she has done a working hunter / arena eventing style event which she also went clear in.

Her temperament is second to none and it really does break my heart having to sell her but I feel she is ready for the next step and will be such fun for someone. I will be very picky as to where she goes as she is a special little pony.

Sherlock (Crabswood Zonza) is a very sweet, well bred 4 year old New Forest gelding, he’s 13.3hh and has a little more filling out to do as he matures. He is still young and green but he is a genuinely kind pony with a lovely attitude to life. He is not nasty, sharp or silly and has no history of bucking, rearing, napping etc.

He hacks alone or in company and has been out and about nicely. He has jumped a couple of logs/XC fences out hacking and takes everything in his stride. He is not a plod but also not sharp or silly. He has started doing some small showjump courses and is very willing to learn. He is still green and will need a competent rider to continue his education and bring out his full potential.

Sherlock has a lovely nature. He is super easy to handle and is a pleasure to have around the yard. He’s easy to catch, load, clip, groom, tack up and for the farrier/vet. Professionally backed and broken. No vices and never been sick or sorry. Vaccinated. Lives in or out with mares and geldings.

Sherlock would suit someone looking for a lovely young New Forest to put their own stamp on. He has a fantastic attitude and, with the right education and experience, we think he has a very bright future ahead of him.

Ridden by a a nervous 11 year old on and off the lead rein and a small six year old off the lead rein.

He's done a bit of everything. Would do the lead rein, first ridden, 1.5 and second pony job. Out off the yard every week at various rallies, competitions etc. Will pop sweetly round a 30/40cm course. Has scope to jump bigger but we haven't done this with him. Very soft snaffle mouth.
