Arlo, our 4 year old, 13hh (still growing too) traditional show cob gelding. Firstly, Arlo is an absolute super pony in every way. He is a crowd favourite wherever he goes, in looks and in personality. He is one of them ponies you cannot help but fall in love with when you meet him, as he just loves being around people and other ponies He has such an amazing lovable character.

Arlo, or as my daughter nicknamed him ‘Piggy’ because of his cute little pink nose, came to us being lightly backed and ready to produce. We began by doing lots of groundwork with him which included mouthing, lots of long reigning showing him lots of scary things along the way to build his confidence and his trust, and some lunging. Then my daughters took over, who have done absolutely everything with him, from schooling in the arena, to riding him around on the farm where there’s machinery and always lots of noises going on, to now been heavily involved in our local pony club, just recently attending a 4 day stay away pony camp full of activities, and even more recently performing in our pony club’s team musical ride at the pony club championships 2026!! Our team of 12 ponies came an amazing 4th place out of 21 teams, which they performed the lion, the witch and the wardrobe in front of a large cheering crowd and loud music.

During his time at pony camp, Arlo did his first showjumping course which he absolutely loved an proved to be very good at too!! He also did some flatwork, transition work, pole and grid work again which he took all in his stride. He then did a cross country course ridden by a pony club member who’s pony wasn’t playing ball, which she confidently jumped logs, ditches, and even cantered him through water!! He then did an in hand show, a photoshoot, and even finished off with some mounted games practice!! All of which he behaved perfectly for.

He has also been to numerous cross country courses and fun rides with us along the way which he was absolutely fantastic, whether he was leading, in the middle, or at the back of the pack. He loves to please and really enjoys a job.

Arlo had been to a couple of in hand shows with his previous owners, where he was very successful and it included him qualifying for TOYS 2026 by winning his classes and becoming reserve champion overall. He is TGCA over stamped in his passport also.

Arlo never naps, whether that’s in the arena schooling, or out on a hack, with or without company. He is not a needy pony and doesn’t care if he’s in or out, alone or with others, and equally you can take him away from the field leaving the others there, or vice versa, without so much as a shout. He doesn’t rear, buck or bite, and never refuses to do what is asked of him, again whether that’s in the arena or out. When you ask him to stand, he stands. He doesn’t need to be ridden daily, he is the same Arlo whether it’s been a day or a week since his last ride, he is so chilled. He is absolutely brilliant to be caught, handled, led, tied up, feet cleaned, farrier, brushed, bathed, hosed down, face trimmed, dentist, tacked up, loaded in and out of the horse box etc. He is used to been around dogs, and also Alpacas as they are in the field next to him with just a fence between them.

Overall Arlo is a true all-round versatile pony who will excel in whichever path he is taken down, wether it be in the show ring, at pony club, dressage, showjumping, been driven, or just a pleasure pony to go out and have fun on, as he always looks happy whatever you are asking of him. We are classing him as a second pony due to him really loving his job and we feel he would continue to excel with an able rider like he has been having up to present. He is passported, chipped, fully vaccinated, recently been wormed, feet trimmed and had the dentist. He is in show condition and ready to find his next jockey to take him to the top!! We are looking for the best of homes for our 7year old, lovely fun 13.2hh Welsh C pony Copper.

Copper is a true all round pony club type pony, he loves to jump, go cross country, show jumping, working hunters, and even tried and enjoyed mounted games; he has regularly trail hunted, done fun rides, and can produce simple dressage test; he’ll happily turn his hoof to anything, and give it his all.

He happily hacks out alone and in company, and living on our farm is used to all sorts of traffic and other animals. He has never bucked, reared or kicked and although a keen ride, is a gentleman under the saddle, equally happy to give a lead or follow behind if asked.

In the 21/2 years we have had him, Copper has regularly competed with my daughter in pony club, NSEA and unaffiliated SJ and HT events, qualifying for Bicton Regionals (SJ 70cm and 80cm, and eventing 70cm) NSEA Hickstead (75, 85 and 95cm) and Addinton (75cm). He rode a lovely inter hunt relay round at the Royal Cornwall Show this year and has competed successfully in various working hunters. He is a regular in pony club going to many camps, training fallers and stay away shows.

Copper is green book Welsh C registered as Polmesk SuperStar.

Copper is a lovely character to have around, always got his ears forward, first to the gate to be caught, loads easily, good to shoe etc. This will be a very difficult sale as Copper is very much part of our herd here in Cornwall, and we wish it was Coppers legs that were getting longer rather than my daughter’s!

He is a top class LR pony that I believe the best is still to come from him.

He recently went to Equifest with a friend (due to her ponies injury) and went Reserve Supreme M&M inhand.

He is a lovely example of a LR Dartmoor with good bone and plenty of hair.

Cloud does need a small paddock for turn out as he can be hard to catch in a large field. A small paddock he comes to us to be caught.

Pip is a very special pony and this is an incredibly difficult and genuine sale. We have owned her for 2 years and 8 months, but my daughter Mollie has suddenly grown so tall that, after much deliberation, she has decided the time is right for Pip to find her next best friend and for her to move onto a bigger pony.

Pip has been a huge part of our family and has helped Mollie rebuild her confidence after a very difficult experience with her first pony. They have developed a fantastic partnership and Pip has always been honest, genuine and incredibly forgiving.

🏆 Jumping & Pony Club

Pip was bred for jumping and absolutely loves it! She has jumped 1m at home with a different jockey and regularly competes with Mollie at 65cm, which she pops around like a pro. She has a lovely jump and we genuinely feel she has much more potential than Mollie has been able to unlock.

Mollie is still a relatively cautious rider and, understandably after her previous experience, has never pushed Pip to the best of her ability.

Pip simply hasn't been produced to her full potential because she hasn't needed to be. With a more experienced and confident little jockey, we can see her going so much further and having an enormous amount of fun along the way.

We hack Pip a lot and she is fantastic in traffic. She will happily hack alone or in company and is equally happy to go in front or behind.

She lives on a working farm, so is completely accustomed to tractors, farm machinery and all sorts of vehicles. Our village also has regular buses passing through and she genuinely doesn't bat an eyelid. She is a really fun and experienced little pony who enjoys getting out and about.

❤️ Handling & Care

Pip is a lovely, kind pony who is very much part of the family. The girls handle her daily and Mollie is completely independent with her - picking out her feet, tacking her up and getting her ready herself.

She loves being pampered and is happy to stand and be washed, groomed, plaited and fussed over. She is used to children being involved in all aspects of her care.

Like any pony, Pip has her own little personality and likes to know where she stands, but she responds well to confident, consistent handling. We are very happy to discuss this in more detail with genuinely interested homes.

💕 The important bit...

Pip has played a huge part in rebuilding Mollie's confidence.

Mollie's first pony sadly turned out to have kissing spines, something we were completely unaware of at the time. Mollie had some awful falls and her confidence was understandably shattered.

It took a little while after getting Pip, but she has helped Mollie completely rebuild that confidence. They have developed a fantastic partnership and Pip has always been honest and genuine with her.

She is the sort of pony who gives her rider confidence and tries her best to look after them, whilst still having enough ability and talent to keep an ambitious child interested and progressing.

She really is a little horse in a pony's body - talented, genuine and incredibly exciting for the right jockey.

This is a very reluctant sale of a pony we absolutely adore. Finding Pip the right home is far more important to us than simply selling her. We would love to keep in touch with her new owners and see her continue to thrive.

Lovely little lead rein pony, she has done showing, dressage, jumping and pony club including mini camp. Has been ridden off the lead rein by bigger children and is a super 2nd pony, ideal for a confident child to go out and have fun on.

Over a fence she is very sweet and does a small jump so as not to unseat her little jockey.

Mounted games she is very good and actually really quick, I could imagine she would be a fab games pony for an older child.

She is sensible and tolerant with fancy dress costumes.

She has all the attributes to make a really special pony.

Ridden; she has been broken on the lead rein proving very sane and loves doing a job. Although young and green she’s been brilliant around kid's and is keen to get on and learn. She could try her hand at any job pony club, showing, racing, lr and in time and with off lead schooling first ridden.

She’s attended her first show with my 2 year old daughter where she looked after her like a pony way beyond her years and experience. She did everything asked and more.

We have attended hound exercise with her she stood at meet, saw hounds and met usual farm type traffic all taken in her stride. We could not quite keep up with the pace but she walked happily at the back and when we couldn’t see anyone we leisurely picked blackberries and practiced rising trot.

We have also long reined her in full driving harness, I am sure she could make a wonderful driving pony once she is fully broken.

She is good to catch, trim, groom, wash, farrier load and respects electric fencing. Currently turned out in mixed heard with no issues.

I have been continuing her work over the summer holidays. And she has been put in a variety of situations with different aged children proving herself to be a future super star.

Only available as I would love to see her in a home where she is being used and loved to her full potential.

Our beautiful boy has been hopelessly outgrown, and we are heartbroken to be writing this advert, but at nine years old he still has his prime ahead of him and he deserves to give another child all the joy and fun he has given us.

He has taken my nervous, eleven year old daughter from popping around 50cm courses to competing in the International Arena at Hickstead at 85cm in the NSEA finals.

Qualified for the International Arena at Hickstead at 85cm NSEA Champs - this has been postponed in 2026 due to the weather.

Has competed in some WHP shows, which is not really our thing, but has done well, and I believe he would do well in this.

He is good for, and up to date with farrier, vacinations, dentist and maintenance physio. He lives in or out happily.

My daughter, who is small for her age has been able to look after him independently from the day we got him, including loading him into our lorry.

The transformation in my daughter’s confidence and riding ability has been remarkable thanks to this gorgeous pony.

A striking, careful and scopey mare with great potential. She is jumping up to 90cm courses, showing plenty of scope, natural pace and can turn on a sixpence. Huge potential to make a BS or BE pony. Blank canvas with room to learn. Works nicely on the flat with flashy paces. Soft mouthed, not strong. Has been introduced to cross-country on a couple of occasions, taking on a BE90 course as well as easily popping over a number of BE100 fences and even British Novice elements such as drops. Hacks out beautifully, taking everything in her stride.

Would suit a competition home for a confident and competent rider willing to grow with a young horse. A brilliant, fun project to make your own.

She has been ridden by children and young teens, although she still is green and will need a confident rider to help her gain confidence in the ring as can be spooky but not nasty. She has picked up first- and second-place rosettes in smaller classes on her first outings and has since had focus directed on training.
