12.2hh French bred Connie X Dartmoor, 15 years

Gorgeous stamp, sound and no vices. Bred in France and bought by us from a novice home where he showjumped at a low level and hunted; was then produced by my daughter aged 9-11 years to become a versatile and admired competition pony, jumping successfully up to 90cm BS (though best up to 85cm) and becoming a fantastic little event pony.

Numerous successes, to include:
•BS Bronze League Final 2025
•Numerous Stepping Stones DCs
•Qualified for Cats and Pipes 2025
•Qualified Blue Chip for April 2026
•2nd in his first 90cm BS Discovery
•Many other BS placings
•4th Pony Club Area Eventing 70cm 2025 and qualified for PC Regionals both times contested
•Qualified for Schools Equestrian Games 70cm eventing both times contested (2024 and 2025)
•6th SEG Eventing Finals 2024
•SEG Eventing National Champion in 2025 with 28.5 dressage. Always placed and would easily succeed at 80cm eventing.
•Many placings at NSEA showjumping and arena eventing, both individually in teams
•Hickstead Grassroots Champs 2024
•Addington National Champs 2025
•Numerous Unaff wins
•Hunting machine and incredible XC
•Would do well showing but we have never tried.
•Hacks alone or in company

A true standout, super handsome pony and a unicorn in temperament.

Blizzard is so easy to do in every way and a delight to have around. He would probably come down for a more novice rider if managed appropriately but would be most suited to a busy and competitive home. He is a forward ride and can do the occasional buck if very fresh but is not spooky or silly. Doesn't nap, rear or stop. Easy at shows.

Ten star home only. Rider reluctantly moving to a bigger pony. Viewings after 15 February and sold with Blue Chip Pony Winter Novice qualification for April. Videos on request.

Leothan Candy is a gorgeous mare with a stunning temperament. Candy began her career at the end of 2023, being a 5yo and has been produced by my daughter, who is sadly now out of ponies.

Candy has competed in the RDS 6/7 yr old qualifiers in 2025 & 2024, making it through to the second round twice and the third round in 2025. She has a great jumping record, producing clears in 1.20m grand prix, and is ready to step up to the bigger heights with the right rider.

She has had continuous placings nationally and internationally. Being one of only 8 double clears in the derby at Mullingar National Pony Championships, gaining her 8th place. Earlier last year, she qualified for both pony masters final and boomerang 6/7 yr old final and went and got into the jump off with both, has won the last 2 interschools competitions, competed at the stepping stones to success ODE last april and loves doing cross country. Candy was selected for the Wales and West 148 debut team and went on to be the only Irish rider double clear in the first round, helping the team place 2nd, then also placing 4th in the 1.10m the following day. Qualified for the Rising Stars Championships in Southview, England. Then in Sentower Park, Belgium, she got 6th place in the 1.10m, and 7th in the 1.15m.

Candy is a forward-going pony, but will always listen and try her best at anything you point her at. Candy has gained 276 points and has a height band of 100-120cm. An extremely easy pony on the ground, great to shoe, clip, hack alone and in company, dentists, vets, and travelling. Up to date with dentist, farrier, vaccinations, and lifetime measures. We are open to vetting.

FEI recognition card valid until the end of 2029.

This is very much a top tracks Irish sports pony for someone wanting to compete and win at the highest levels of U10 128s. This pony has won just about everything she could have won in Ireland with over 700 Irish SJ points (would be equivalent of 2000 BS points). Wins and in the places at 1m and below and accumulated at top international events.

Ideally we would be looking for a 6-12 month loan until our own child is ready for her, but would consider a sale (with an agreement for a right of first refusal on a future sale) as we really want this pony for our own use in the future. For the right buyer we'd consider a trial also or shorter loan period.

The pony is in competition livery at a top professional yard so is professionally schooled and fit and ready to go out competing immediately.

She is not suitable for a novice as she wants to jump and get on with her job. She will happily take a novice 7 year old around an arena in the trot and canter, but try to jump her and if the rider is too weak and unbalanced she'll keep going and go through the paces quickly as she really is a winning machine. She is also not an all rounder or pony club pony, she is built to jump.

Not an inch of nastiness, she will stand for hours and won't complain, no bucking, no issues loading, not spooky and will happily be pampered by little kids.

No vices at all, she recently (November) had a full vetting and full set of x rays and happy to put people in touch with the vet and share all reports and x rays.

Hundreds of videos online of previous rider on her, plus a few over the last month of an 8 year old rider on her.

£37500 for a sale (to include full wardrobe including excellent condition tack).

Loan arrangements to be discussed but monthly fee to cover insurance, regular vet checks so we can ensure her value is protected.

Bonzo is a 13.2 welsh c.
He is sadly outgrown Bonzo is great pony loves to work loves to jump bold over a fence. He will school nicely and hacks on roads and open fields front or back. Good out at competitions and any outing.

He is a nice forward easy of the leg ride. He has taken his rider from jumping 40cm from her old pony to jumping 85cm+ at home and competing 75/80 at comps and will jump off any stride but he is now sadly outgrown Bonzo before she can step up. Bonzo will turn a hoof to anything and has done fun rides show jumping up the gallops xc pony agility and always try’s his hardest.

He is a lovely pony and easy to deal with on the ground great to deal with out at shows can be handed by children always a yard favorite. We have had him in a 7.5t and 3.5t and travels fine in both.

He has completed a lot including hicksted sunshine tour twice and he loved it and was great in the atmosphre and stabled overnight and was good.

He will happily trot around a 40cm or competitively go around 80cm and scope for more. He is always in the ribbons and never strong and silly.

He is the type you can give weeks off get straight on and be ok with.

This is such a sad sell, Poppie has taught my daughter how to ride but now my daughter is moving on and needs something more.

Poppie goes amazingly on the flat loves her jumping and hacks alone or with company very good with traffic, amazing to load, clip and for the dentist and the vet and also really good with other horses she loves everyone.

She has been to many shows and a lot of champs for showing and has also done a few working hunters.

Poppie is also a very safe pony if you wanted to put a child on her and she would be fab.

My daughters dream was always to get her to HOYS but she has out grown her, now she wants some one else to get her there, this is such a sad sell but we really want her to go to a happy home and hopefully achieve everything she could of done if my daughter if she didn't out grow Poppie.

For a top show/competition home
Hillgarth bred

Will without a doubt be HOYS standard / top BSJA pony.

Lily has been slowly produced, she is an old head on young shoulders type, has hunted/hunter trialled, would hack down the M4 and is comfortably jumping 70cm courses with the scope to go much higher. However she has NEVER been over-faced and as a result is confident and will take you to a fence.

Not phased by fillers / foliage etc.

Not for a novice child as she is young and home is of most importance. I want to see this pony in the biggest arenas in the best of homes.

Chester is a stunning silver dun registered Shetland gelding

Broken last year and has had tots on him walking and trotting. He has been on holiday since December so would need to be bought back into work slowly.

He has a lovely temperament and loves to be brushed and fussed over.

He is good to clip, catch, and load and travels perfectly.

Chester has been to a few shows with us in-hand and has always behaved well, including the Suffolk County Show where he took this all in his stride.

We would love him to find a family home where he would get lots of attention and fun, and continue on with his education.

Chester currently comes in at night out during the day, he will turnout alone or with friends mares or geldings he is very friendly.

He is bare foot and has them trimmed around every 10 weeks his feet don’t grow very fast.

Tack and rugs available separately

Dartans Sapphire - 6 years old dark bay mare. Beautiful head with white socks. Sapphire has the most wonderful temperament and is ridden by myself (small adult lady) and my 11 year old daughter, friends children making her an ideal mother / child share.

She has done fun rides, hunt rides, hunted with the North Kilkenny Foxhounds in both the children and regular meets all winter. Hunted with my self, friends and my children proving super safe, obedient, brave over the country, never strong and stood with hounds.

She has done pony club hunter trials and schooled over a variety of cross country courses. We do a lot of hacking in the woods which she always gives a lovely ride.

Sapphire would make a lovely all rounder pony to do all activities in pony club and riding club. She would also make a nice small show cob.

She is currently hunting and competing in training shows and show jumping at 80 cm level.

I bought sapphire to bring on in August and produce for the winter. She really has been a pleasure and is ready to give her new best friend lots of fun.

Unfortunately the time has come to find Cheeto a new jockey. He is an 11 year old 11.2hh chestnut gelding with no recorded breeding.

We have owned him for the past 2 and a half years and he is my youngest daughter’s pride and joy. She has done everything with him. He is a proper little all rounder from doing ODE, SJ, XC schooling, pony club camp, PC rallies, beach rides & the gallops. He is confident up to 60cm.

He is the character of the yard being a typical cheeky pony but is always handled and cared for by my daughter.

This is a very sad sale purely due to being outgrown and he is too good a pony and too young to become a field ornament. He is not a novice ride so definitely more of a second pony. He is very responsive to the leg and forward to ride. Not a kick along. He is not naughty just quite strong for a little pony and takes some getting used to.

He schools nicely in all 3 paces. He is great to hack alone and in company and is happy to lead the ride unfazed by traffic, sheep, tractors etc. He can also be easily led from another horse if needed and is not bothered by sticking to their side.

I also believe he has the potential to make a great driving pony.

He is currently barefoot and copes fine without shoes. His perfect to load, clip, trim, bath & groom all done by my daughters.

Up to date with jabs & teeth. No vices and comes with all tack & rugs.

Rowntree Coco Chanel

12.2h Section B. Dapple Grey Mare 9yo

Sadly outgrown Coco had been with us for nearly 2years, in that time she has done lots of local and pony club dressage. Competing at intro and Prelim. Pony club rallies and hacking. My daughter isn’t really into jumping but she’ll trot round some x poles for her. However Coco really enjoys jumping so would appreciate a home where a rider wants to take her out jumping. She turns out beautifully and was shown and did whp with a previous owner.

She hacks out in front and behind isn’t spooky, good with cars, bikes and buses and super in open spaces and on the beach with excellent breaks. As a child pony we have never hacked her on her own but hacks with an adult on foot or other horses. She can be a typical Welsh mare and we ride her with a red ribbon at shows and pony club to give her a bit more space.

She lives out 24/7 with another mare. She does also stable. She is a good doer, good to clip, bath, worm, farrier etc with very good bare feet. Travels well in a trailer or 3.5t

Up to date with vaccinations, worming, teeth.

Will come with tack and a selection of rugs.

This is a very sad sale of a much loved pony so we would appreciate no time wasters.

Missy Elliott  - A very super Smart Cob! A very hard find in this current market

13.2 chunky but sporty cob 11yr old

She’s been used on a riding centre and also done all riding club activities!

She loves her jumping and is currently popping around a full course of fences with all spooky and colourful fillers

Basic schooling on the flat but she’s improving daily while being with us.

She’s been ridden by more advanced students on the riding centre.

She’s not a plod cob but is still respectful to her riders aids

She would suit a family on a budget who would still like to put some time and effort into her education.

She would be a perfect RC or PC Pony for a competent kid or small adult

Good manors on the floor and enjoys a fuss and attention.

She’s off the leg so would not be suitable for a nervous novice home ?? nothing nasty just enjoys her job

Bee is an 11yo chestnut mare Welsh cob x lhc 136.5cm top track pony.

We have had bee for almost 5 years and would like to keep her forever but it’s simply not possible. She is one of the best ponies I have ever known and I’m grateful to have found her.

She brought both my girls through the heights at bs from 90-1.20 with the highlight being hickstead 138cm national finals in 2024 with my youngest daughter.

She is a machine round x country jumping everything without hesitation, water, ditches no problem.
We have worked hard on her flatwork and she can do a passable dressage test so will always do well eventing as dc is likely.

Bee is perfect in every situation, hacking, hunting, beach, at shows and at home. She simply doesn’t know how to misbehave and is the easiest pony to love.

We will be very selective over her home as she has given us her heart over the last 4 years and has brought my girls so more joy and successes then any of us could have dreamed of. We are only her 2nd home after the breeder.

I can’t thank this pony enough for all the moments she’s given my girls in and out of the ring.
Almost every show we go to someone comments on what a cool pony she is, or how nice the round was, or how much they love her!

Ideally I would like her to go to a sympathetic rider and a child who is currently jumping around 90 but would like a pony that has scope to do top tracks when ready her new jockey is ready for that.

But she also needs a home with a varied life to include pc, NSEA and fun things.

She’s perfect on the ground and easy to shoe, clip, travel.

Bee is very forward going and will only suit a child who is confident and keen to be competitive.

Serious enquires only please as she is not a small price to reflect her ability and record.

”Woody” is well known on the BS circuit and is fast and careful.

Previous achievements include:
- 1m Derby win at Wales & West with current & previous rider
- Qualified RIHS 138 class
- Treble clear 138 HOYs qualifier
- POYs championship winner (95cm class)
- Home Pony 138 teams
- Numerous wins up to and including 110

Woody is a very special pony and has given my daughter so much joy over the past few years and now very sadly outgrown. He is lovely to look after, hacks alone or in company. Great to box/shoe/clip (sedate for inside back legs). Occasionally cheeky to catch but that is easy to manage.

He would suit a confident and competitive BS or BE rider/and or a very ambitious Pony Club home (he loves camp!). He is straightforward on the flat but lights up when he sees a fence as he loves to jump.

He is a very special and handsome boy and we have priced him very competitively to give us the best chance of finding him the right home and rider.

Heidi is a Welsh NWR Dutch FEI dressage pony who is beautiful to look at, lovely floating movements and gives you a wonderful feeling when you ride her. She is very well schooled and loves her work, forward and sweet with with great paces.

Heidi has been a broodmare for quite a few years, we bred one form her and she was sat in the field for a few years, so we started riding her.

She’s really enjoying her work, great fun to ride and would make someone a great little riding club pony or a happy hacker, hacks out alone and in company, shes forward but honest.

Snaffle mouth, not sharp and would suit a small adult or a teenager, someone with a soft hand and has been a darling to bring back into work and sweet and easy to do In all ways! It would be lovely to see her to on and do a bit more.
