This mare is a beautiful, kind, safe superstar in the making. She always turns heads, is super safe, and at just 4 years old has already achieved high 60s at BD Prelim.

Professionally backed and produced, Hope has been in the same home since she was 5 months old. Originally purchased as a companion baby, Hope has been handled and produced in a soft, quiet, and calm way. Hope was backed last September and has been lightly hacked and schooled over the winter. She went out for her first outing in March and has pleased the judges with her attitude and paces every time. Considering she still needs more balance and practice, her self-carriage, obedience, and willingness to try are just fantastic.

She has 3 lovely, active paces, with an active trot that could really be produced further, while her walk and uphill canter have always been highlights. Hope has been out in the heaviest traffic, with other horses, and never worries. She has worked over poles on occasion, and last week she went for her first jumping lesson and proved there is nothing she will not have a go at—she loved it! We haven’t schooled cross-country yet, as that is next on our list, but I am certain that with her brave personality this will be just as easy. She has been ridden by a small adult and jumped by a 12-year-old girl.

Hope is forward in a lovely way and has never bucked, reared, or bolted. She trusts her person and is always wanting to please—she is NOT your typical bolshy Welsh! She is great to load and with the farrier, vets, etc. We have never clipped her, so I’m not sure about that. She has never been sick or lame, has no vices, and everything, including her teeth and vaccinations, is up to date. She even saw the physio on 06/04/26. She has been so easy to back and work with, a real sweetheart, and looks stunning!

Hope has done her companion job and is now ready for her own little person or people to have fun with. I can see this pony excelling in any discipline with the right home—a 5-star home that is prepared to put the time and effort in. We love Hope very much, and she will only be sold to the right family.

Based near Peterborough/Stamford.

Has been shown and won a sizeable young handler class at her first attempt. Up to date with teeth and farrier, no wolf teeth.

Green, but ready to go on and do a job for someone with patience to bring her on. Good enough to show, clean limbed and a free, straight mover. Crystal is a stunning pony with a beautiful deep golden colour and real eye-catching presence. She is rising 9 years old (In May) and coming into her prime. Crystal is a fun, talented pony with so much potential. This is a very sad sale as my daughter has sadly outgrown her.

Crystal is not a first pony, as she would suit a confident and experienced rider. She is forward going off the leg and loves her work. Nothing fazes this pony & she is brilliant to hack out and excellent in traffic.

She is a lovely jumper with huge potential to go far in the right hands. Crystal would also make an excellent games pony, as she thoroughly enjoys it and excels in the friendly games competitions we attended on our old yard. She has done bending poles and can turn on a sixpence. Crystal really enjoys games and loves to win.

She has attended Pony Club a few times, fun rides, and arena hires, always taking everything in her stride.

Good to shoe, clip, load, and handle. Up to date with vaccinations, worming and teeth - open to vetting.

5 star home only for this truly loved pony - stabled by night during the winter.

Open to sensible offers.

Squid is a 12h 10yr old welsh section a. He is a sweet pony who is easy to handle. He has three fantastic paces and is well schooled holding a consistent outline.

As well as his fabulous schooling, squid is a talented jumper and has been popping round 80cm fences at mine. He has competed up to 70cm in the riring with multiple placings.

Also, squid has been driven in his previous home however not by current owner.

Squid holds many qualifications and wins to his name. Proving him to be a successful pony in the competition ring and an experienced pony.

Here's some of his achievements to list:

Showjumping: lots of placings up to 70cm (with scope for more)

Workers: only did 3/4 classes but always placed 1-3rd including 2nd at Suffolk show

Dressage:
• Countless wins unaffiliated dressage (almost all intro tests as that’s all I could do) at many different venues, often scoring +70% with listed judges
• Riding club national championships qualifiers (area 14): 1st individual prelim, 1st pairs
• RDA regionals: 1st open grade 6 walk only (highest score of day about 74%)
• RDA national championships: 1st grade 6 walk only, class champion grade 6 (highest score), 1st freestyle. Scores over 70%.

Squid isn't a first pony however I believe he would be a lead rein if also ridden alongside a more competent rider and he loves his work. Squid is a forward pony but not nasty in any way.

Good to shoe, clip ect. (Currently barefoot has been shod in the past)

Available for a reasonable offer due to her being wasted and having to commit to another horse!
Lovely, genuine 5-year-old Dartmoor x Welsh mare. She’s a fantastic pony club pony who has been to many arena hires, where she behaved amazingly and really enjoyed herself. She has taken to jumping very well and is very honest. Although she hasn’t competed yet, she has completed clear rounds and courses at arena hires without putting a foot wrong. She can go very well on the flat, but due to her age, she is still a little unbalanced. With some work, she would improve greatly. Because of her age she would be more of a second pony.

She hacks both alone and in company, is very safe with traffic, and is calm enough that I can even lead my Shetland pony off her without any issues. Shes been to pony club camp, where she behaved brilliantly and did some cross country. Shes very good to ride in open spaces and is not strong. Recently, she went on a fun ride with five other horses, where she was perfect and really enjoyed herself not at all strong or silly.

She is great for the farrier currently has 2 fronts on and perfect to be clipped. She travels well and is up to date with vaccinations and dentist end of this month. She recently had the physio out and was found to be in good condition and sound. She has never been sick or lame.

Ideally, she would go to a home where she can live out, as she thrives in the field, although she is well mannered and happy when stabled alone. She is super easy to handle and well behaved.

Please note, she has a sarcoid on her ear, which has never affected her in any way. If you are not comfortable with a horse that has a sarcoid, please do not contact me.

This is a very sad sale, as I have produced and owned her for two years. I would like to keep in touch to follow her progress. A good home is priority for this mare she is open to offers to the best home.

  • Actively looking for the best Pony Club ponies
  • Some fabulous knowledgeable homes waiting
  • No fees for sellers

I have motivated clients looking for genuine, kind, quality and proven ponies to take part in all Pony Club activities.

The ponies I would love to hear about are those not needing to be advertised to secure a new home. There is no harm in finding out whether I know of a better home and match. Perhaps you worry about your child finding it upsetting seeing their old pony regularly at rallies etc - then selling out of area could be a better solution.

These are motivated buyers receiving guidance as to what will likely suit their child - not the timewasters regularly reported. In most cases homes are also knowledgeable: simply lacking in time to conduct a search themselves. Most will also wait for the right pony so if you are not ready to sell yet - that is not an issue.

There are some decent budgets available relative to age and medical conditions etc.

All leads will be handled with discretion. Please feel free to give me a call, drop me a WhatsApp or check out my Instagram page @unicornacademy.yorkshire_edit

  • A real enjoyment for having a job to do
  • Nicely schooled, enjoys his jumping
Meet Sparrow, a very well-bred and registered Section A pony with a kind, loving nature and a real enjoyment for having a job to do.

He is a very sweet pony who is nicely schooled, enjoys his jumping, and absolutely loves hacking. Sparrow has been ridden by a range of abilities and is happiest with a child who has a longer, more secure leg. He wouldn’t suit a very wobbly toddler/small rider, as he can get a little nervous with unbalanced riders, but he thrives with a more confident jockey.

Sparrow can be slightly spooky out hacking, but nothing silly, and he’s improving all the time. At shows he can get a little excited, and has thrown a rather lively buck, though this is getting better with each outing.

He is easy to handle on the ground – loads well in both lorry and trailer, stands happily for bathing, and has been clipped without issue. He is also up to date with vaccinations.

A lovely pony looking for a kind home where he can continue to have fun and build confidence with his rider

We are looking for a competitive experienced home for our pony, she has been in our family for 5 years and has done all disciplines with both my daughters who have sadly outgrown her now.

She will excel in a home where she has a busy and a varied life with turnout.

She is an out and out competition pony not a novice ride, although she is great on the lead rein for someone to do first ridden classes. Off the lead she likes to get on with her job, she is ridden daily my my kids and also friends children. She hacks out but prefers company.

She is safe to gallop in open fields and has done sj/xc/dressage/M&M ridden and in hand showing.

She jumps up to 75 happily, goes in a nice outline on the flat and is very eye-catching. She has lovely big straight paces an is clean limbed.

Part-Bred Connemara Gelding – 140cm – 9 Years – Potential Top Track Pony. Eye-catching 9-year-old part-bred Connemara gelding standing at 140cm on the stick shod and with plenty of foot on (would measure in as a 138)

A genuine and talented pony with all the attributes to excel on the BSJA track.

He absolutely loves his jumping and shows great scope and enthusiasm, making him an exciting prospect for a competitive rider looking to progress. With the right partnership, he has the potential to be a top track pony.

Bold and confident in open spaces
Straightforward and easy to handle
Excellent to load, shoe, clip etc
Currently shod and has been kept in regular work

He has a kind nature and a willing attitude, making him a pleasure to have around.

Ready to continue his education and reach his full potential.

We mount him from the block. He is timid to mount but no malice and doesn’t “shoot” off just tenses a little through the back

He’s a typical jumping pony , uphill way of going and forward but with further education could make a cracking event pony

We would like to find an experienced home where he could reach his potential loose jumps over 120m popping courses of 90cm with a bigger jockey (we don’t have one small enough)

Serious enquiries only – please get in touch for more information

The most striking 13.2hh 5yr old gelding, who not only is beautiful and unusual to look at but also has the most beautiful temperament that you just cannot help but fall in love with.

Toad is very nicely put together with super movement and an expressive jump.

He is very reliable and the easiest pony we have on the yard. Can jump on him once a fortnight or every day and he’s never any different. Excellent to catch, load, bath, clip, shoe, bath, in and out of the stable, turns alone, with geldings or in a mixed herd and no bother. He’s up to date with dentist, vaccines, farrier, totally clean legs, no lumps or bumps and fit and ready to go do a job.

We have done loads of hacking with Toad, he goes alone or in company and he is excellent in traffic, often taking the lead over the M62 or railway crossings.

His schooling isn’t something we have pushed but he improves every day we take him in the arena. He’s very easy to ride, not strong or silly and snaffle mouthed at all times.

He loves jumping, has a very impressive technique and is bold over fillers.

Toad needs his own little human to love and spoil him as he has everything there to be someone’s everything. He is so loving and would love a little boy or girl to call his own.

Very quality Section A pony. 12.1 but would measure as a big 12 hands if required. Really flashy pony that will go along way in the right hands. He has unbelievable movement ( moves more like a warm blood than a section A ) and lots of jump.

He is by BROLAWEN JONI DDU ( BRIOLEN DARIUS ) x WENLLWYFO POPPY ( WENLLWYFO GALAXI ) .

We brought him a few months back , have since backed him and ridden him away. He is working nicely on the flat , jumping a track of fences.Brave with fillers and XC fences. Hacks out alone and in company, good in traffic. Has the potential to make a very good competition pony. Would imagine with his step could make a top show pony/WHP or has enough jump to jump BS produced further.

Has been out to unaffiliated showjumping and will do a little one day event this weekend . Primarily has been ridden by nanny (5ft 7 stone ) but also done a little bit with a very petite 10 yo boy and had a 7 yo on the lead rein on a few occasions. Did a ODE 10th with 10yo . Got 65% in dressage and jumped lovely in both phases to get a place.

He isn’t for a nervous or novice person/family as can be a typical cheeky Welsh, can pretend he’s scared of you when he really isn’t! Obviously a young pony with a bit about him ( in a nice way no harm whatsoever! ) otherwise we wouldn’t have our friends child on him …but not ready for a novice tot to loose their balance on or a nervous child but would be fine for confident older child to produce along side parent! My 5 yo grooms and leads him .. and I ( mum 9 1/2 stone ) have had a few occasional sits on him and don’t look out of place .. so small parent could help with production.

Someone could has a very good pony in 12 Months time.

£3500 but open to Sensible discussions to see him in the right home.

  • Super Smart 133cm Grey Gelding – Future Working Hunter / Junior BS / Event Pony.
Oakley is a very smart and talented 5-year-old, standing at 133cm. A quality pony with three lovely, balanced paces who works sweetly in an outline.

He has competed up to 80cm with scope for plenty more. He is naturally careful, very springy off the ground and always tries his best for his rider. An honest and genuine jumper who regularly comes home in the ribbons from limited outings. He has happily schooled over simulated cross-country fences and shows great potential as a future event pony or working hunter.

Oakley hacks out confidently alone or in company, including along busy main roads and over motorway bridges. He has excellent manners and is good to do in all ways. At shows, he stands quietly on the trailer even when his companion leaves.

A very easy, loveable pony to have around the yard — he has a kind temperament and always wants to please.

This is an extremely sad sale, so a 10? home is an absolute must.

Marmite is looking for a new person. Hard to write as we love this little chap, but now outgrown and my daughter is moving onto horses for jumping but is also prioritizing mounted games

Marmite is 13.2 rising 18yo sporty heinz 57 pony, don't let his age put you off he's got plenty of years left in him!

He is an absolute jumping machine, we have had a fabulous 4 years with him doing all pony club activities, showjumping with many wins and placings, arena eventing, XC and hunting. we have even played around doing some mounted games with him at home which he's actually showing some promise but we don't need another games pony!

He's not a fan of dressage so bringing home frillies eventing probably isn't his forte! But he will school in all paces just not quite as relaxed as the judges like!

In his previous home he was a regular out hunting and loves it, its definitely his favourite pastime.
He would be best suited to a brave young rider or even a small adult and is definitely NOT a novice or nervous riders pony, he isn't without his cheekiness and a few quirks but is a proper good fun pony club and hunting pony with a big jump!

He is great to box (trailer or lorry) shoe clip etc, can be cheeky to catch when the grass is good but will come to a bucket of nuts!

Will consider short term trial to ensure a good match for pony and rider but this would be entered into after viewing and if we felt the rider and pony were likely to be well suited. Would require references and a contract in place.

Price to include, bridle, his old saddle and rugs, his Harry Dabbs ENS jump saddle is available by separate negotiation.

Near Thirsk North Yorkshire good trial facilities.
