Hope is a really beautiful connie. She is super sensible on the ground, and has been exclusively handled by children. She is just a delight to have around

Super safe out hacking- will hack on the buckle past the heaviest farm machinery.

Great in open spaces and on the gallops -looks after her rider. In the arena she has three lovely paces and would go out and do a decent test soon.

She loves to jump and has never been see to say no. The higher it gets the better she jumps.

This mare is so incredibly talented, videos really don’t do her justice, come and see her in the flesh to really see how outstanding this mare is.

Foxy is the most naturally talented and competent pony I have come across. Everything I have asked if her she has not only shown willing but has taken to and excelled in like a pro. Old head on young shoulders with all the physical capabilities to go to the top level of any sphere in the equestrian world. At exactly 14.2 she has the presence of a small horse with the cat like skill and the charming personality of a pet pony. She is calm, confident and competitive too, winning her first jumping competition when a local13year old asked to ride her on the day.

There is no limit as to what this pony can achieve. Floaty uphill paces and a careful and brave jump.
She has done all manner of things, starting with long reining and strengthening work all over my farm (so is totally au fait with livestock and heavy machinery) over different terrain. She is vey balanced, also totally trustworthy on her own or company. Before backing she has done in hand shows and been unrushed and carefully produced with her future career kept in mind.

Foxy has now progressed to more ridden canter improving her transitions and adjustability.
Jump-wise fillers are never an issue, she adjusts herself for the fence in hand and looks for the next as soon as you’ve landed.

I have done dressage/combined training/sj and xc schooling (grass and arena) there simply is not anything this pony can’t do. She leads youngsters while riding and vice versa. Loads and travels like a dream. Great feet and good for the farrier. No medical history. Up to date with teeth/vacs and worming.

She has NO vices. She is not anxious, always keen to please and looks after herself at and away from home. Snaffle mouths for everything.

Bought Jessica as a project 3 years ago, and she has blossomed beautifully. My daughter has sadly outgrown her.

Jess has bags of potential and presents a great opportunity.

She has a lovely temperament, doesn't mind be fussed over and is great around small children.

Can be fiery and strong at times when ridden but she's exciting though as you would expect from a Welsh. She needs regular work and a confident jockey so best suited as a second pony.

She's had a go at most Pony Club sports. Jumps confidently at 70cm and is super quick around the arena. She has a lovely build and will excel at Dressage, and eventing. Low level competing so far but continues to grow with experience. Copes well with unfamiliar surroundings.

Very friendly and loves the company of other ponies. Hoping she'll find a new home with some new friends. Has been stabled over winter, quite delicate so I think she would struggle to live out all year round.

Hacks well with others or alone. Currently loads better with a companion.

Fine with farrier, dentist, physio, and vaccinations.

A genuine true and honest pony. Sad to see her go but an exciting future ahead.

Rock-Queen has been bred for her quality and temperament for which she has in abundance and is so chilled and has a willing to learn
Most of the Llafar Stud foals are sold abroad and are doing extremely well in their chosen careers.

Queenie Is A Lovely Friendly Mare Who Loves Nothing More Than Kisses!
She's Been Exposed To Various Things That Might Possibly Make Her Spook When She's Out And About.
Such As Dogs,Pushchairs, Flags, Bunting And Washing Especially Tractors And Cars.
Not Forgetting Cows, Pigs, Alpacas And Chickens.

She is up to date with her flu and tetanus Vaccinations, although she has not had anything to be sold abroad, such as the various jabs, blood test and the other swabs that she would need.
Teeth and Feet. She's currently barefoot and has never had any shoes on.

She's so calm and very confident that she can be schooled by a child as well as an adult. She lunges with her bridle and saddle, or just a headcollar on as well as free rein. Just Look At That Jump That She's Got!!

She's learning Liberty and is picking it up quickly, She long reins beautifully and would be suitable for riding as well as driving with a bit more schooling.
I've Also Been Working With Her From The Ground On Some Lateral Moves, Such As Shoulder-In, Serpentines, Turns And Side Steps Such As Might Be Needed When Out And About, So That She's Got An Idea About What To Do

The picture with the girl on her was taken about 10 minutes after backing her, she really is that calm about everything. All That She Wants To Do Is To Please You And She Absorbs Everything That You Do With Her And She Gives It Her All

Rock-Queen has been shown Lightly In-Hand at Selby in the summer
She came a respectable 2nd and 3rd in her classes which were large ones.

She would make a fantastic 2nd ridden pony for a child although with some more schooling she will make a brilliant 1st ridden as she looks after her jockey already.

She's not been jumped under saddle, so she's very low mileage with no problem, she's just jumped in the field and the school, but she's got a cracking careful jump as can be seen in a picture. That one was around 2.5' high and she cleared it with loads to spare

Rock-Queen just needs a friend who wants to go and have some fun with her. she's too good to be wasted being a field

MISTY – Much Loved Pony Club Allrounder

Very sad sale of our much-loved pony, Misty, who has been part of our family for the past 3 years. She was originally bought for our daughter (then aged 9, moving up from a 12hh pony) and has given her the most wonderful and confidence-building experience.

Misty is a fantastic Pony Club allrounder who has taken part in rallies, camps, and regular lessons. She is well schooled on the flat, works in a lovely outline, and would make a super dressage pony..

She also enjoys her jumping - wouldn't want her jumping more than 60cm due to her age and is also a brilliant hunting pony—she absolutely loves it, is sensible with hounds, and is not strong.

Out hacking, Misty is exceptional. She is happy alone or in company, is unfazed by traffic and farm machinery, and is safe and trustworthy. Our daughter (now 13) regularly hacks her out independently. She enjoys a canter but has never bucked or reared—she is a genuine, fun, and reliable pony.

On the ground, Misty is easy to manage (good to catch, load, clip, and shoe), although she is not overly affectionate and can be a little mare-ish at times. She can be slightly girthy and fussy with rugs, however this does not affect her behaviour under saddle in any way.

She is happy living in or out but would ideally go to a home with other horses, as she is used to company.

* Shod all round
* Up to date with vaccinations and teeth
* Small sarcoid under tail (unchanged during our ownership)
* Treated for mild ulcers last year - but managed and maintained on supplement (hence girthy)

Misty is a truly special pony who has looked after our daughter and given her so much confidence and enjoyment. This is a heartbreaking sale, and finding her the right, loving home is our absolute priority.

Comes with her Tack and wardrobe.

5* home essential. Serious enquiries only. WhatsApp in for further details

Clyde – 13.2hh, 5-year-old registered Highland pony gelding.

A very well put together pony, true to type with correct conformation. He has a good shoulder, straight and active movement, and is deep through the girth with a strong, compact body and well-muscled hindquarters. Clean limbs, plenty of bone, and good, hard feet. A quality pony with the substance and presence expected of the breed.

Clyde has an amazing temperament and a genuine attitude to work. He is snaffle mouthed, straightforward, and always willing to please. He behaves impeccably in busy atmospheres with no need for calmers or ear plugs.

He is brilliant to hack, both alone and in company, and is very safe in traffic, happily passing tractors, trailers, and lorries without issue. He is great in open spaces, forward going but always with brakes, and never silly or fizzy.

Clyde has been out to local shows in hand and to dressage, where he has consistently been placed at the top end. In the school, he works nicely into a contact and moves well, covering the ground with ease. As a young pony, he is still developing and can occasionally be a little heavy in the front end, but he has not been over-schooled and is ready to progress further.

He can be left for a period and brought back into work without any change in behaviour. He is up to date with chiropractor, farrier, teeth, vaccinations, and saddle checks. The vet has only attended once for a minor cut that was treated as a precaution.

Clyde can be a little stubborn to load, occasionally planting his feet, but this is not malicious and he responds well to patient handling (and a bucket!). He travels well once on and settles nicely.

He would be suitable for a novice rider, however a competent and knowledgeable home is preferred to continue his education and bring out his full potential.

Clyde has a huge future ahead of him and is already proving to be a successful and enjoyable pony. Open to any vetting and happy to provide full history

12h, 13yo, bay, New Forest gelding looking for his next jockey.

I purchased him as a tiny tot’s first lead rein pony, and whilst we adore him, he’s wasted being ridden for 30 mins once a week.

He’s a total dude to do anything with. Clip, shoe, load, travel, groom, lead off another horse. He stands like a saint out hunting, stands tied to the trailer, he’s totally unflappable in traffic, farm machines, kids, dogs, hounds, pheasants, livestock etc, gets on with all other horses and ponies. Can also live on his own. He lives on a busy dairy farm and is not phased by anything.

I’ve got a million videos and pictures of him doing all sorts. SJ, PC rallies, XC, fancy dress, hunting, joining family bbqs in my garden, coming in the house for carrots.

Never sick or sorry, comes to call, lives on fresh air, loves to be fussed. He’s a keen, forward, pony who loves going on adventure he isn’t a drag along LR pony. I regularly lead him off a pram or with a baby on my back.

Please do NOT enquire for your nervous child looking for a first year first ridden. He’s a total saint on the lead rein, but can be quite cheeky off the lead. He could be a seriously cool pony for someone that can really ride - but I want him sold as a LR only.

Really sad sale as we do love him, he’s just wasted with us and he deserves to be out having fun on a lead rein.

Dorset based. No trials, No LWVTB, no payment plans.

Serious enquiries please WhatsApp message or call.

Millie is a fabulous 13.2hh, 7-year-old New Forest mare with the sweetest temperament and a wonderful personality. We have owned her for the last three years, during which time she has been a much-loved and genuine pony in every way. She is a proven, versatile all-rounder and a true confidence giver who always looks after her rider.

Millie will happily teach a 6-year-old to learn to ride, which she has done in the past, yet will also step up a gear for a more competitive child, making her a wonderfully adaptable pony for different riders and ambitions. She is safe, sensible and straightforward, giving children confidence while still being fun and capable for a rider wanting to progress.

Millie has enjoyed a varied and fun life. She has taken part in Pony Club activities, Pony Club camp and rallies, alongside competing successfully in Working Hunter Pony, qualifying for Blue Chip, British Novice 2nd Rounds, Stepping Stones, Cats and Pipes. Millie has also attended a few GoBE one day events, and produces a very pleasing dressage test. She is a willing and straightforward ride who always aims to please.

She is a dream to have on the yard, travels beautifully, loads first time, and is good to shoe. She is easy to manage and much loved by everyone who meets her.

Millie would happily suit a family needing one pony for two children, equally capable of looking after a younger rider while still being fun enough for an older child to enjoy. She really is a rare sort who can turn her hoof to anything.

The only quirk to mention is that she has been seen to crib at dinner time, although she is by no means a prolific cribber.
Very sad sale due to my daughter having outgrown her.

Loads of videos and pictures available on request.

Lenny has won in-hand in the show ring and at his final show, he was 2nd in the NPS Scottish gold medal Finals at Blair 2024.

Since being broken in, Lenny has been brought on quietly and is currently being ridden by a 9yr old girl. He has hunted once, been to pony club dressage and endurance, attended a ridden show (and won), taken part in many arena hires & clinics, attended pony club, attended a three day camp at Somerford, he hacks out like a pro around the roads, fields and the fell and is handled daily by the children. Lenny loves his jumping- we have lots of videos and photos available.

Currently living on a hill farm in a mixed herd, used to all farm machinery, dogs etc. Up to date with vaccinations , teeth & physio.

Lenny would suit an allrounder home where he can do bits of everything. He enjoys a varied life & really does deserve to be somebody’s number one who will no doubt, have even more fun than we have had with him.

The Longhouse Chinoiserie - 8 year old mare competing at medium level and ready to go out at FEI.

Chino is a 14hh dressage pony out of premium graded stallion Hilkens Charismatic.

Chino is a true school mistress with all the buttons. She is consistently out at medium level placing on the podium in the medium gold regional classes.
Chino has scored up to 70% at elementary and 72% at novice, meaning she would make an excellent BD youth pony or equally a great addition for a petite adult.

Chino holds herself in a beautiful, soft, easy contact and has push button counter canter, rein back, simple changes etc.

She has 3 rhythmic and correct paces combined with an extremely willing and trainable attitude.

Chino is incredibly easy to do and lives for going to shows. She has been to all the big UK venues doing the young pony series as well as multiple regional championships. She is a parents dream for a pony/BD youth rider.

She is easy to do in all ways, will stand on the yard or lorry for hours, loves her hacking or popping the odd jump and is generally just a delight to have around.

We would love to see Chino find her new family in 2026. She is ready and waiting go. She would easily be a school mistress for a younger child or equally step up to FEI classes.

Chino is a fit competition pony. She has been ridden by children and was recently competed by a 14 year old however would not be suitable for a beginner or a novice rider.

Videos available upon request,

  • Experienced calm hunting pony wanted
  • Must be safe and quiet
  • Experienced long term home awaits
We're looking for an experienced hunting pony to hunt on and off the lead rein (with a walker), and on and off the lead rein next to a horse. If it can do camp and rallies too this is a bonus but not a necessity.

Must be experienced with busy packs and not fazed by it. We are looking for woah over go, a steady Eddie best friend for a keen but nervous hunting boy.

12-13.2hh - gelding. 7yrs+

This is the first boy, with two children coming on behind him so we expect to keep the pony in the family until the end of its days. Experienced home near Badminton awaits.

We can provide lots of references for ourselves.

Healthy budget for the right pony, or loan considered.

Whatsapp best contact method.
