Leah really is an exceptional pony who would excel in the showjumping ring with her speed, turns and scope. She would also excel in the showing ring with her beautiful traditional Welsh paces. Or would equally be as good as an all rounder, happy hacker, pony to love. Lead rein pony / 2nd, 3rd ridden.
Leah is great on the ground with lovely manners, she has always been handled by children and is extremely respectful. Loves a good groom and pamper!
Great to clip, shoe, she’s good to load as long as you have some yummy carrots in hand
UP to date with wormer, dentist, vaccinations. No lumps or bumps.
More go than woah but not lazy.
Hacking: Leah hacks out well in company or solo, never strong or silly, well behaved on the roads, open fields and woodland. Great with all traffic: cars, bicycles, motorbikes, tractors, strange machinery! In a group Leah will happily take the lead, sit back behind or smoosh in the middle. She will plod along on the buckle or pick up the pace if you ask her to.
School: loves having a jump and has tonnes of scope, currently jumping 60cm but definitely shows willingness to take on some bigger tracks. She will float around the outside of the school all day long and has stunning movements! Soft in your hand and never strong. If you have a little one that wants to have a bounce around on the lead rein she will happily be your girl.
Leah is perfect on the lead rein rein and will do whatever is asked of her. Coming of the lead rein I do believe she will be better suited as a 2nd/3rd ridden as she does sometimes make you work for getting her moving forward, this is not every ride of the lead just whenever she decides that she really wants you to tell her to get going. However this attitude is getting less and less every ride and will most likely stop. Not nasty you just have to push her forward up into gait. With a confident jockey that knows what they want you will have bundles of fun with her.
Leah is a very trustworthy girl and always puts a smile on your face, she really is a cracking girl and I can’t fault her.
Shod on her fronts due to a lot of on road hacking, but could go barefoot if ridden on soft more than hard surfaces.
I brought Leah to produce from being a lead rein pony and she has proven to be very easy, I have enjoyed every moment of having her around and now she’s ready to find her lovely little jockey.
Plenty of photos / videos upon request.
Unfortunately no trial facilities on site but there is a track which she can be viewed on or your welcome to hack her out.
