Thistledown San Siro (Rocky) needs no introduction. He is without a doubt one of the most successful, genuine and consistent Welsh Section A’s in the country. His results speak for themselves and have been more than we could have ever dreamed of, winning HOYS and Royal International multiple times and taking 5 champions.

He has been the most amazing pony for us and a true rock for our family taking both children who had never competed at HOYS, from Lead Rein and First Ridden to the Junior and Open classes. Rocky is the ultimate schoolmaster, with the most amazing temperament. With us, Rocky has always been produced from home and solely by children, including when he went mini champion at HOYS 2023 with a young jockey and since then has taken another two children safely to RI and HOYS in the FR and one of the children to RI and HOYS this year in the juniors, without an adult to lunge/ride him.

This is such a difficult advert to write and as many people know, he is a huge part of our family and truly loved. However, he is only 15 and we would prefer him not to spend the rest of his days unridden in the field. He loves the varied life we give him on the farm and is used to farm animals and machinery. Rocky enjoys competing, hacking around the farm, pole work, and even mounted games! We have always treated Rocky as a fun pony and the children have shared him taking part in different classes at the shows where he has often gone from opens, to juniors to first ridden and vice versa, with a quick change of jockey and bridle. Rocky has also taken part in the working hunter classes winning the novice M&M cradle stakes and open M&M cradle stakes at the BSPS Summer Championships as well as narrowly missing qualifying for the Junior M&M WHP at HOYS.However, we would prefer him to only compete in flat classes now.

He has had countless Supremes, Champions and wins including winning most of the major county shows in either FR, Juniors, or Open A’s. Rocky has the most beautiful head, movement and lots of bone, being a true stamp of a Welsh Section A . He has enabled our daughter to win the Black Country Saddles Rider of the Year in 2020 and our son to be selected for the final of Showman of the Year in 2022 , as well as being nominated for the Showing World Awards Native Pony of the Year in 2022 and 2023.

We would like to lease Rocky with a view to a possible sale in the future, only to a suitable home.

We would love another child to have the opportunity to have the treasured and amazing memories Rocky has given us.

Teddy 12.2hh, 11year old gelding. Very smart pony with a super character and brain.

He is established at 70/80 BS, however, has competed in 90cm classes.

He is forward going and can be strong but is never nasty, just enthusiastic. Handled by children, can be headstrong on the ground at times, so needs an experienced home with competent adults.

Hacks alone or in company and leads off of another horse.

He has attended many stay aways and pony club camps.

Achievements are as followed:
- Qualified for stepping stones nationals 2025
- Qualified for cats & pipes Scope 2025
- 6th 70cm SJ bicton mini champs 2024
- 8th 70cm eventing bicton pc regionals 2024

Super pony club pony/ junior BS prospect suit confident child who wants a fun pony who loves his jumping.

Texas is a dude! He’s a lovely pony who has spent the past year in a local riding school being ridden by staff/ better children. He’s come to us as the school have too many ponies his size and he’s not a beginners pony as is forward thinking and likes to get on with his job. He’s just really good fun!

In the school he’s been well schooled and works sweetly on the bridle with a capable rider ( will go for a less capable rider too but not in a shape) and has three smart and active paces and a very good canter. He adores his jumping and is very brave and uncomplicated, taking his rider nicely in to a fence and sorting himself out when needed. He isn’t bothered by fillers, water trays or just about anything and I have been using him to teach my novice apprentice girl to jump round a course on.

He’s very much a cheeky pony at heart and a schoolmaster so will only go according to rider on board. He will jump round 80cm very comfortably with scope to go on and gives lots of confidence jumping making him an ideal pony for a keen child who wants to improve and learn to be competitive on, untapped pony BS potential.

He’s forward thinking and loves to work although will have the odd pony moment where he will have stop at the gate, if you tell him to get on with his job he will immediately but won’t suit a really novice or nervous kid ( he does nothing awful but riding school has taught him where the exit is! Once he has the measure of you he won’t even try it) He will be a super star in a pony club home where he’s kept busy and would best suit a gung ho child. He has plenty of scope for junior BS.

Texas loves his hacking and goes out alone and in company and he has been great in all traffic met to date with him. He will go first or last and isn’t a spooky pony.

Texas is easy in and out the stable, happy to live in or out in a mixed herd, he’s a kind pony who keeps himself to himself. He enjoys fuss and attention and is good to catch, box, shoe but a little nervous with the clippers round his legs and needs a bit of dope to do them. We think he’s awesome and will be a lot of fun for a competent competitive child.

Seen at livery. Will be out and about with us until sold.

We have owned Domingo for 2 years and had so much fun, but now very outgrown and looking for his next home.

Awesome hunter. Done 2 season trial hunting and bloodhounds. Not strong but jumps everything and stays out all day.

He’s a talented little pony with scope to burn. Our daughter has had countless wins and placings at 70 and 80 but he could easily go higher. He has the most awesome jump! 2025 NSEA county champion at 70 and qualified county showjumping Hickstead champs at 70 and 80.

Pony raced 2025 season pony club and P2P series. 138 PC winner at Cheltenham.

He’s done all PC activities and camp. Lots of NSEA. He would also make a lovely dressage or showing pony as he is very flashy. His full brother won at HOYS.

Looked after and ridden by a child but no novices please as he is quick and knows his job.

We have so many videos and pictures so please get in touch for more information.

Registered Welsh A mare. Princess is a pony for a competitive child. She's fast and fun and loves to jump. Always in a snaffle and will take a miss to help her rider out. Forward thinking and balanced.

She would be great as a lead rein pony but too forward for a true first ridden. Is well versed in all pony club activities, pony club regionals and agriculture shows.

Never had sweet itch, laminitis etc . Brilliant to clip, farrier, dentist etc. up to date with vaccinations, worming, dentist, farrier etc.

Would make an amazing BS pony.

Absolutely loves her job and stands all day to be fussed and pampered. Very sadly outgrown.

JUST OZZIE - One of the most consistent 128 gold league ponies out there. Without been over worked and over run at shows.

Ozzie has been the most incredible pony for my daughter. With us been reasonably new to showjumping, Ozzie has brought my daughter from jumping stepping stones, up to making her dreams come true jumping round HOYS this year, finishing double clear and in 5th place .

They’ve had the most amazing year together, also finishing in 5th place in the spring/summer 128 gold league.

She is a very easy to do, straightforward kids pony with a heart of gold .

Handled and looked after entirely by my daughter. Good to Hack , easy to clip, load etc . Completely straight with no health issues. She really is a mother’s dream.

Up to date with everything.

Absolutely heartbreaking sale due to my daughter being out of 128s this year . She will not be available until after The London horse show.

Very sad sale of our family pony of 10 years! Prince is a 14yr old 11.1 Section A

He was our daughter’s first pony who she has learnt a lot on but we would suggest that he is more a SECOND pony/Lead rein or for a competent child as he is can be cheeky (in the school) if he knows the rider is a complete beginner.

By cheeky I mean he will pull the reins out your hands and put his head to the floor or walk back to the gate of the arena or just stand there!

He has never bolted or anything like that and you hardly need any breaks with him, he’s more of a leg on!

He would also suit a lead rein as he’s good as gold on lead.

He has enjoyed many hacks, lessons, fun rides and pony club.

He has sadly been outgrown now and is wasted with us.

He lives out 24/7, barefoot and has never had the vet in 10 years.

Loves to be pampered, would also love stable life, in fact that would be my preference for him to have a stable at night as he loves a lay down.

He loved jumping with my daughter but did find with less experienced riders without enough leg on him he would stop before the jump but with my daughter riding him he never did this.

He has the best personality and I’ve been debating since last summer what to do with him as he’s more part of the family but he’s just being wasted now so he needs bringing back to fitness as he is without a rider.

Lots of videos and pictures that can be shared of him. We wanted an honest advert as this is a hard enough sale so please no time wasters.

Prince will come with his bridle and saddle.

He is very good for the farrier, dentist and loading in the trailer.

He is bomb proof on the roads and super confident and used to lead the hacks out most of the time. I would consider loan with view to buy if close to Bristol to make sure he is in the right home as I do not want him passed around.

Attended her first show for practice last weekend and was an absolute diamond, no lunging needed, she took every minute in her stride.

Already qualified for NPS Summer championships in hand and ridden for 2026

He has not been over-chased around qualifiers, yet has consistently held his own in exceptional company. With the right rider and a dedicated season, he has all the quality, presence and temperament to be a serious contender at the highest level. He is a true gentleman to handle, and is excellent to clip, shoe, catch and load. He has no lumps, bumps or vices, and hacks happily alone and in company.

He is a kind, straightforward, quality gelding who combines correct breed type, movement and an exceptional attitude — a very hard combination to find.

This is a genuine sale due to personal circumstances, as I am working full time and bringing on younger ponies at home. I have to be realistic and realise there isn’t enough hours in a day to fit everything in — and he deserves someone who can give him all the time he needs.

HHS Lady - 2006 Mare | 138cm BS Pony

HHS Lady is a very experienced and competitive 138cm mare with a strong record under British Showjumping. She is quick against the clock, loves a jump-off and is always looking for the next fence.

Brave, clever and genuinely kind, Lady will go on any stride asked and always does her best to help her rider when needed. She is a real push-button pony — careful yet bold — with the confidence and consistency that comes from many successful seasons competing.

She is straightforward to ride and handle, easy in all ways, hacks alone or in company and has no vices. Lady would be ideal for a competitive junior rider wanting a pony that can step straight in and deliver results. Now ready to help another young child progress through the levels.
