I am a professional working woman looking for my next steed to join the family. We lost our beloved boy to colic last year after many happy years together but feel the time is now right to look for a new friend to have fun with.

Our horses live at home and want for nothing. We live at the end of a No through lane with plenty of off road/quiet lane hacking.

We have a Charles britton arena with soundtrack surface. Permanent stabling (been here 400 years!) and Post and rail fenced paddocks. I am 40 years old and am not looking to go to the olympics. I would love an all rounder to go out and about and enjoy making memories.

We have A 3.5t Horsebox and thetford forest for day trips is only an hour away. I do enjoy flat work so horse must be sound and able to school 3-4 times per week.

I am looking for a normal everyday type of pony / horse. Something that will carry a lightweight adult lady. Preferably about 14-2hh medium weight type or a smaller cob , maximum up to 15-2hh. I would like to be able to hack out safely on my own and with company so must be good with traffic. I would also like to be able to attend some dressage competitions, go to a local adult camp, take part in low level show jumping and maybe pop round a small X C course.

The right horse / pony will be easy to do, easy to load and be calm and sensible when out and about. An older horse would fit the bill , maybe looking to step down a gear. I can offer a very kind sympathetic home , with a vast amount of knowledge, Vet, Farrier and Pony Club D C all in immediate family.

Family farm to retire to when can no longer be ridden.

I do not want a potential Hickstead show jumper or an Olympic dressage horse , nor to go to HOYS nothing that has potential , just something that can come home with me now and get me back riding .

A sensible budget available for the right animal, possibly something that a teen has outgrown , or something that cant quite make the big fences, or a retired show horse / pony

Paddy is the sweetest family pony with a fantastic nature. Paddy is ridden by children of all ages, and is showing great progress in his schooling and jumping.

Happy to hack out on his own or in company, great with traffic/open spaces/beach rides etc.

Up to date with flu/tet, physio, dentist and is barefoot. Happy to live in or out, and will turn out individually or with others. Great to catch/clip/load.

Paddy loves fuss and attention,and stands for hours being groomed.

Has attended pony club activities including mounted games, flat and pole rallies as well as a summer camp.

Red is a fun forward registered Welsh D. Deep chestnut coat which almost glows red at this time of year. Nice markings. Would look good in the show ring.

Has nice paces in the school and would do a good test.

Loves jumping and clears 1m easily. Has a 5th gear and can turn on the speed.

Hacks alone and in company. Excellent in heaviest traffic. Regularly hacks around Richmond Park. Great in open spaces.

Is super easy to handle. Kind and gentle and lovely to groom. Stands nicely at mounting block. Easy to clip and load. Great with farrier and dentist. Up to date with jabs and worming. Happy to be stabled or turned out. If stabled does need access to daily turnout.

Responsive ride not a kick along.

Can be sharp so absolutely no novices. Not bothered by heaviest of traffic but typical Welsh snorts at new things and takes confidence from his rider.

Eye catching 4 year old Gypsy cob gelding. Prince has been long reined out through the village where he will stand quietly for lorries, cars and tractors to pass, he has long reined past out local primary school at break time without fuss.

He is good for the farrier, enjoys a bath, he loves a groom from the little ones and will stand quietly.

He turns out with mares and geldings, will happily be stabled when needed.

Prince has been mouthed and sat on but no small jockey to continue his education.

Experienced home, had horses for 25+ years. Will be kept at home on our own land, in a small group with my horse and 2 retired rescues.

Will be ridden primarily by my mum, who is an experienced rider but has arthritis, so needs something calmer.
