Rodney is Beautifully put together and extremely talented young horse, who has such an amazing loveable temperament.

He certainly wouldn’t look out of place on more of a professional yard, but has been entirely produced and hunted by a 80yr gentleman , to date, and is perfect for anyone wanting a high end top quality horse to take up the levels in dressage, showjumping or Eventing.

Beautifully balanced paces and have a lovely canter and trot.

He is a riding nicely on the flat. He has had, a nice easy life, to date, and hasn’t been rushed or over used.

He has started his competition career off and has been to a few shows jumping up to 80cm with tons of scope, he has also Hunted approximately 10 days this season again with the 80yr gentleman on board.

He has been brilliant in open spaces and cantering along with other horses.

Competed at 80cm but has schooled over some bigger tracks in training with plenty of scope and talent to easily progress up the levels in the future.

Certainly has enough talent and a fabulous work ethic for higher level eventing / Show jumping.

He loves all aspects of life to include hacking, beach rides, training and competing.

He goes straight over the spookiest of fillers, water jumps, ditches and skinnies and has such a lovely can do attitude towards everything asked of him.

Always first to come over to see me in the field and brilliant to deal with on the ground.

Around the yard Rodney is lovely and easy to handle, he loves being brushed/ washed and lead around and is also good to catch, clip, shoe and loads onto a lorry or trailer with no issues. He has no stable vices and will be a great asset to anyone who buys him.

With him been a young competition horse he has occasionally tried to take advantage out of his rider and the decision has been made that he might not be suitable for his 80yr owner.

While we have had him he has tried his luck but nothing that sending forward dose not sort out, and we have not found him difficult

Due to being a young competition horse he is not suitable for nervous or novice riders.
