It’s not often a pony like this comes along. Sweety is a 4-year-old piebald mare standing at 13.2hh, with a little more growing still to do. She’s the kind of pony everyone looks for but rarely finds – a genuine, kind-natured all-rounder with a wise head well beyond her years.

Sweety is the ideal choice for a novice rider, a mother-daughter share, or a riding school looking to add a steady and versatile young pony to their team. She has the sweetest, friendliest temperament and adores attention. Easy in every way, Sweety is a joy to have on the yard – she’s uncomplicated, gentle, and always tries her best.

This lovely mare has been carefully brought on. She is well-schooled on the flat, balanced and rhythmical, and always willing. Sweety has also been introduced to coloured poles and cross country, and shows natural talent over a fence. She’s jumping confidently up to 90cm at home, with scope to go higher, and is completely unfazed by anything.

An excellent mover with three correct paces, Sweety floats across the ground and is comfortable and easy to ride. She would suit a child moving up from smaller ponies or a small adult looking for a reliable hack and fun ride. She’s easy to catch, load, shoe, and is good in traffic. She hacks out happily alone or in company, never sharp or silly, and always with a level head.

Sweety is truly a young pony with an old soul – she’s calm, forgiving, and always wants to please. She’s the sort you can trust and enjoy every day, whether it’s schooling, hacking, jumping or simply enjoying her lovely company in the stable.
