Koko is a beautifully bred, 5-year-old purebred Connemara gelding standing at 14.1hh. He is a kind and honest pony with a willing attitude and a lovely way of going. Koko is straightforward and sensible, making him a fantastic choice for a mother-daughter share, riding school, or a competitive Pony Club allrounder.

He is easy to handle in every way – good to shoe, box, catch, clip, and ride. He is excellent in traffic and enjoys both hacking out and working in the arena. He is a forward-going but kind ride, ridden in a soft snaffle at all times.

Koko is a very correct, straight mover with three balanced paces and a particularly light, floating trot. He has been jumping up to 90cm at home, showing carefulness and an enthusiastic attitude toward his work, with scope to go further in the right hands. He has the potential to excel in showjumping, working hunter, or as a reliable and fun competition pony.

His temperament is one of his strongest assets. Koko is level-headed, trainable, and enjoys his job. He has no stable vices and is a pleasure to have on the yard. He would suit a child moving up from a first pony, a small adult, or a home looking for a quality, safe, and fun pony to enjoy a bit of everything.

Koko has a superb pedigree. His sire is the famous Glencarrig Sparrow, a legendary Class 1 Connemara stallion who has produced numerous top-class performance ponies across Europe, especially in showjumping and eventing. His dam line is equally impressive, by Parkmore Bobby (a well-known performance sire) and out of a mare by Island Lad, both of whom are respected for producing talented and athletic ponies with excellent temperaments and conformation.

Koko is open to any vetting and comes with a clean history. He is available for immediate sale, with UK delivery included in the price. We are happy to offer an exchange if you are not completely satisfied, as we are confident Koko will make someone very happy.
