Darbey is already showing great promise in both showjumping and eventing. He has schooled up to 1.10m and has loose jumped 1.20m with ease. He’s honest and brave to every fence, always looking to get to the other side without getting strong. He’s very easy to ride into a fence, with a balanced canter and a soft snaffle mouth.

Cross-country is where Darbey truly shines. He jumps everything in his path, never questions a filler or a ditch, and always keeps his ears forward, looking for the next challenge. He loves his work, and his bold, enthusiastic attitude makes him a natural eventer.

On the flat, he is well-schooled with three good paces and an uphill, balanced canter that makes him comfortable to ride. He would suit a competitive teenager aiming to move up the levels or even a mother-daughter share, thanks to his rideability and good manners.
