Bella is a gorgeous 5-year-old bay mare standing at 13.2hh, and she truly ticks all the boxes. With her kind eyes, gentle nature, and calm, willing attitude, Bella is the sort of pony that’s hard to find—safe, sensible, and genuinely enjoyable in every way.

She has been ridden here by novice students and always goes quietly in a snaffle, responding patiently and kindly to her rider. Bella has a naturally balanced way of going and gives a real feeling of confidence in the saddle, making her an excellent choice for a novice rider, a riding school, or a family looking for a safe and fun pony to share. She’s especially well suited to a child moving up from a smaller pony who’s ready for something with more ability, but still needs that all-important safety and reliability.

Despite her age, Bella already has a wealth of experience. She has been out hunting, taken part in hunter trials, completed charity rides, and attended pony club with a young rider. She’s seen plenty of the world already and always handles new situations with a level-headed attitude. Bella absolutely loves her cross-country work and is a brave, genuine partner who never hesitates or overreacts. She takes everything in her stride and always looks after her rider.

When it comes to jumping, Bella gives her rider confidence and is incredibly honest. She’s been jumping up to 90cm here with ease and definitely has the ability to do more. She’s careful and willing, always trying her best without ever being sharp or silly. Whether you’re popping over small fences or looking to progress with a capable competition pony, Bella makes it all feel easy.

In the yard, Bella is a complete sweetheart. She is easy to catch, great to shoe and clip, loads happily, and settles well into any routine. She is used to farm machinery, heavy traffic, and all the usual commotion of a busy yard, and she handles everything with quiet confidence. Her friendly personality and steady nature make her a true favourite with everyone who meets her.

Bella would suit a wide range of homes, whether you’re after a first competition pony, a genuine family friend, or a young pony to bring on without the drama. She has no stable vices, is open to any vetting, and is as genuine as they come.
