Meet Stan – our gorgeous 8-year-old buckskin Welsh A gelding, who has been with us for the last 4 years as an exceptional lead rein pony.

Sadly, as my daughter looks to move off the lead, we feel she’s not quite the right match to bring him on as a first ridden, and it’s time for this special boy to find the right jockey.

Recently ridden by a 6-year-old at Chard – no bucks, just a moment of hesitation when pretending to poo! Otherwise, totally genuine and admired by everyone.

Honest Notes:
He’s just started testing slightly in transitions to canter with our tiny, less experienced jockey – the odd cheeky buck/ Cow kick, nothing nasty – but too much for a petite rider still finding her seat. With a more confident, slightly older child, he would thrive.
