Montel is a native gelding. Montel is still settling in, so understandably a bit nervous. He would thrive in a quiet, one-on-one environment with someone who can dedicate time to his continued training.

Montel is currently living out 24/7 with other geldings. He has started to get used to being stabled alone for short periods, and this training could continue in his new home if needed.

He requires a patient and calm handler. He is currently being caught with a second headcollar and needs encouragement to be caught until he gets to know his handler. He is generally good to lead once he's settled. Montel is still a little wary when getting his feet picked, so this will require ongoing training. He is starting to enjoy being groomed, but a slow approach is needed.
