Though she's just 3 years old , this lovely pony has a gentle spirit and is ready to find her perfect person and her forever home as a companion-only pony. Nutmeg has come to Blue Cross from another charity and is now ready for her next adventure!

Nutmeg is making wonderful progress in her training and absolutely thrives when she receives regular, consistent interaction. She loves to form a positive bond with her handler and is looking for someone who enjoys working gently with horses to help her continue to flourish. She currently enjoys life in a herd with other mares and could potentially be tried with geldings when the time is right. Nutmeg is a smart girl who is successfully learning new skills like leading, having her feet picked, and tolerating grooming.

While she is making great strides, Nutmeg is still a young mare who needs a bit of reassurance and encouragement. She may be a little unsure at first when it comes to catching and putting her nose in the headcollar, especially with a new handler.

Nutmeg will thrive in a quiet, one-to-one home where she can build that strong, trusting relationship with her dedicated person. Her ideal adopter will be patient and encouraging, committed to helping her grow in confidence through gentle, positive training.
