Oakley has truly found his calling—he is everything you could wish for in a hunter, and more. Brave, honest, mannerly and endlessly enthusiastic, he goes out with a smile on his face from start to finish. He will trail-lay, shut gates, queue politely, or pop on ahead on his own. Though still developing, he is naturally bold and beautifully straightforward—I’d happily Field Master on him.

With a pedigree peppered with 1.50m jumpers, Oakley has all the ingredients to be a highly competitive Grassroots horse or all-rounder as he progresses. He combines scope, athleticism and an exceptional brain with a truly gentlemanly nature.

Out cross country he is bold, intelligent and clearly enjoys himself—he jumped beautifully around the 90cm at Aston-le-Walls, ears pricked the whole way.

Dressage Quality

Oakley has three correct, elastic, naturally flowing paces that make him a lovely dressage prospect. Judges really take to him, and he offers a soft, trainable feel.
