Absolutely beautiful boy inside and out. 17hh 5yr old (rising 6) pure bred Irish Draught gelding by WRS Sun Shine x Mountain Pearl.
Herbie is the nicest gelding you could wish to meet, very much an ‘old head on young shoulders’ he is an absolute pleasure to have around, he turns out, he stables well, he’s fab with others, great alone, he’s amazing to catch, load, tack up, clip, shoe, teeth, handle, bath. He literally never says no to anything asked of him and regularly puts other, older horses to shame.
Herbie absolutely moves for fun, he has big expressive paces and would definitely go down the dressage lines or excel in the showring.
He is always snaffle mouthed, schools beautifully, starting some lateral movements, he’s very balanced and easy to ride.
He loves popping a fence either poles or xc, he’s brave and will take you to a fence.
Out hacking he is brave, goes alone or in company and fab in traffic.
We feel he would be more suited to an established rider as he is a very big moving horse and a novice wouldnt be used to the feeling of the power he has.
He has hunted with a more novice gentleman and always proved very mannerly, he jumped everything presented at and looks after his rider whilst been mannerly at the meets. This year he has been hound exercise with a small lady rider and behaved impeccably.
Herbie genuinely has the personality that anyone could fall in love with. He has everything in place to go on and do any job and excel at it.
Only the best homes need apply.
He’s up to date with farrier, worming, vaccinations, teeth, clipping etc
Herbie is fit and ready to go be someones best friend.
Small cosmetic blemish is reflected in price and will be discussed prior to viewings
