By the Cullintra Bonfire (Connemara stallion), with a dam sire by Puissance, renowned for his athleticism, scope, and outstanding temperament, and with a strong record of producing top-class competition horses. This versatile pedigree makes him an exciting prospect across a variety of disciplines.
He has proven himself to be a reliable and mannerly hunter, having been regularly hunted last season. Brave, straightforward, and easy to ride, he takes everything in his stride.
In the arena, he has showjumped confidently around 90cm unaffiliated, showing a lovely shape over a fence and remaining unfazed by fillers. Has the scope to go on a little further.
On the flat, he is working nicely in a consistent outline, with three elegant, balanced paces—a real contender for area festivals and beyond. Has started some lateral movements and is a quick learner.
He has also dipped his toe into the showing world, including working hunter classes, and is certainly the type to excel further in this sphere.
Out hacking, he is safe and sensible, happy to go alone or in company. He is good in traffic, not spooky, and remains level-headed even in open spaces.
A pleasure to have on the yard—easy in every way: catch, clip, shoe, load—he is straightforward and kind to handle. He has a genuinely lovely temperament, making him an easy and enjoyable horse both at home and out at shows.
He is not known to nap or show any nasty behaviour, though like any quality horse, he will appreciate a rider who can give him clear, confident direction.
Offered for sale on behalf of his owner, with his perfect home a top priority.
A truly genuine, eye-catching horse with the ability and attitude to excel.
