He is good to handle and enjoys getting out and about in hand, making him a lovely pony to have around. Topsey is good with the farrier, vet, grooming and leading. He would suit a home that appreciates the typical Shetland character and can offer a kind but consistent approach.

Topsey is happy living with both mares and geldings, as long as they are kind companions. He can be a little wary when first meeting new people, so will benefit from a patient home that allows him time to build confidence and settle in. Once he knows you, he is a rewarding and endearing pony to care for.
