Alfie is a super exciting young horse and a very rare find — a quality, genuine type with all the attributes to excel across a variety of disciplines. Combining exceptional breeding, a wonderful temperament and a trainable attitude, he is the sort that is increasingly difficult to come across.

By the renowned sire Silvester, known for producing athletic, trainable horses with exceptional temperaments, scope and versatility across eventing, showjumping and dressage. Out of a mare by the proven Hanoverian sire Wanninger, celebrated for his outstanding rideability, expressive movement and kind temperament. Alfie is beautifully bred, well related and bred to be a truly versatile sport horse.

Alfie has been in the same home all his life, having been carefully bred and produced by his owners with his future in mind. He has been given an excellent education and plenty of exposure without being overdone or overproduced.

He has attended numerous training shows, arena hires and clinics, as well as competing BS on a ticket, comfortably jumping around 80/90cm tracks. He is an exceptionally honest jumper with a brilliant attitude, happily helping his rider out and jumping from a missed stride. He is brave, careful and straightforward, taking everything in his stride, and regularly surprises people with how mature and genuine he is for a 5-year-old.

On the flat, Alfie is naturally balanced and correctly established for his age, working nicely in an outline with a correct walk, rhythmical trot and uphill canter. He has a fantastic work ethic and genuinely enjoys his training. With his movement, rideability and attitude, he has all the attributes to continue progressing well in the dressage arena.

Alfie has also done cross-country schooling and shows plenty of promise as an event horse. He is a forward-thinking ride with a genuine attitude and enjoys his work. He hacks confidently alone and in company and has been well exposed to both village and farm traffic.

One of Alfie’s biggest qualities is his temperament. He is an incredibly kind, affectionate horse who quickly becomes everyone’s favourite. Easy to do in every way — good to shoe, clip, catch, load and travel — he is a pleasure to have on the yard and the sort everyone wants to ride and look after.
