A very sad sale of our much-loved pony. My daughter has sadly outgrown ponies this year, so we have made the difficult decision to find Paris her next loving home after owning her for the past 3 years.
Paris is a genuine, fun and affectionate allrounder who has given my daughter so much confidence. I have always felt completely safe with my daughter riding and hacking her anywhere.
What Paris has done:
Pony Club camps & activities
PC Areas
Arena Eventing
XC
Working Hunter
Beach rides & swimming
Hacking alone & in company
Lots of competitions & rosettes on the island
Paris absolutely LOVES XC, arena eventing, beach gallops, plantations and open spaces ?? She is a forward-going pony who loves her job, but is sensible and genuine.
Easy day-to-day:
Clean in stable & economical with bedding
Excellent traveller alone or in company
Loads herself & stands happily on the box all day
Settles immediately in new places
Good with farrier, vet, physio & chiropractor
Easy to clip (my daughter clips her herself)
Safe in traffic, tractors & lorries
Hacks safely alone or with others
She is a proper princess and likes to stay clean! Easy to bath as long as the water isn’t too cold
Paris is generally very relaxed and not spooky. We can take her absolutely anywhere and she behaves exactly the same as she does at home
Important notes:
Paris is a sensitive mare and thrives with kind, quiet handling
• Prefers soft brushes
• Sensitive around her hindquarters until she knows and trusts you- she’s been 100% with us.
• Sensitive in the mouth and dislikes a strong hand
• Currently ridden in a Universal on the snaffle ring
Health & Management:
Up to date with farrier, dentist, physio & chiropractor
Scans showed inflammation in the stifles. Stifles were medicated with steroids and mild hock changes were also treated.
She was previously barefoot and only shod due to increased hacking and XC work so we could use studs.
The right home is extremely important to us as this is a heartbreaking decision. Paris would suit a confident rider wanting a fun, forward, versatile pony to enjoy Pony Club, camps, hacking, XC and all-round fun
