Harry is a beautiful horse inside and out and a real yard favourite. He is laid-back, not sharp or fizzy (more leg on), but equally has the ability to step up when asked. He has an old head on young shoulders, making him a lovely combination of sensible and talented.
I purchased Harry in March 2025 as a green rising five-year-old. Since then, I have focused on giving him a varied and positive education, including lots of hacking, cross country clinics, pole clinics, arena hires and fun rides. He has taken everything in his stride and has never been rushed or overworked.
Harry is currently working consistently in walk and trot in a contact and we are developing his collected canter. He has also started lateral work and is showing great promise.
Harry has a phenomenal jump with a very neat technique behind. However, due to him still growing, I have purposely not jumped him extensively. He is still exceptionally honest to a fence and jumps barrels, ditches, fillers and brushes.
He has all the foundations to be enjoyed immediately or developed further.
Harry is a lovely, genuine all-rounder ideally suited to a competent teenager or lightweight adult. He has a fantastic attitude to his work and potential to excel as a Pony Club, Riding Club or Hunter Trials horse.
Harry is due to make his competition debut this month, with several more outings planned as he continues to gain experience.
