Approx 16.2hh, 10-year-old registered Irish Sport Horse bay mare by the Olympic 1.60m showjumping stallion Orestus VDL, out of Lady Fire Fly by The Wren Boy.
Madam Fly is a genuine, proven Pony Club and Riding Club schoolmistress with the experience, temperament and rideability that are incredibly difficult to find.
She has evented successfully at EI90 and EI100, producing two double clears at EI90 and finishing ninth at Grove. She has also jumped clear across country inside the time at EI100 and recorded a clear showjumping round at this level.
Madam Fly has twice qualified for the Junior Pony Club Eventing Championships and has also Pony Clubbed, hunter trialled and competed successfully at unaffiliated showjumping shows and events. She additionally has registered Showjumping Ireland jumping upto 1m, giving her a genuinely varied competition education across all three disciplines.
She is exceptionally easy and straightforward to ride, with a lovely, soft snaffle mouth in every discipline. She is responsive from the leg without ever being sharp, strong or quick underneath you, giving her rider a secure and enjoyable feeling.
She is the type who can help someone gain confidence while still being talented and competitive enough to go out and have plenty of fun. She would make an outstanding Pony Club or Riding Club horse and could suit a teenager coming off ponies or an adult wanting a quality, dependable allrounder.
Madam Fly is excellent in traffic and sensible and enjoyable out hacking. She loads and travels brilliantly in both a lorry and trailer and is good to do in all ways.
She was homebred by the Dunne family and is only being sold due to her rider going to university. She is now with us in England and ready to find her next special home.
