Fun forward thinking maxi cob mare that will give someone a lot pleasure doing a bit of everything, hacking, possibly hunting, fun rides, local showing etc.

Lizzo is a lovely type, she’s a real leg at each corner model and has inches of bone. Shes well up to weight. Lizzo is not a boring ploddy cob. Shes very much a sports horse trapped in a cobs body! She’s forward thinking and off the aids, she’s not silly but ticks along in a good rhythm. Really nice mover and a natural jumper too. With a little more work on the flat she could do a lovely dressage test. She’s going to best suit a rider who appreciates a forward cob and is capable of riding through their seat, she’s not a mare that likes having her mouth hung off so novices need not apply. She’s has three good paces and works naturally on the bridle just needs to learn to accept and come round riders leg a bit more. Lizzo has a super jump and could go on to enjoy a bit of show jumping with more education. She loves jumping XC and is bold and brave, jumped straight round full XC course but is green, she’s very genuine though. We think she would make a super hunting cob. She loves her hacking both alone and in company and is good in traffic. She enjoys a pub stop and is happy to stand and chill.

In her previous home Lizzo has done some unaffiliated showing. She has also bred a couple of foals in Ireland, could go on to have another hence being a late starter to ridden work and green for her age. She’s switched on and needs a decent rider but is kind and keen to learn and everyone here who has sat on her loves her! She's realistically priced due to her current level of education, in a few months time she will be the dream!
