Doris is a kind and talented mare with huge potential for eventing. She really is everything you could want in an event horse.

She has three beautiful, elastic paces and works consistently in a lovely outline. She is bold yet careful show jumping and always wants to look after her jockey.

Cross country is where Doris really comes into her own. She is fearless and has been cross-country schooling very happy with w, steps and a variety of other fences. She absolutely loves it.

She enjoys hacking, schooling and having a job to do. She is a real workmanlike horse who thrives on being kept busy and having a purpose.

On the ground, Doris is kind and loving on the ground.

Doris does, however, have a personality of her own — if she doesn’t like you, she doesn’t like you! She is happiest with a confident rider who has a soft seat and sympathetic hands. You don’t have to be a world-beating rider, but she does appreciate someone who is quiet, confident and fair.

Doris is a lovely mare with a huge amount to offer and we think she has a very exciting future ahead of her in the right hands.

Been to arena UK major showjumping championship. Stabled well, behaved impeccably and had a lovely time.
