• The kindest most willing mare
• Not at all mareish
• Very trainable

Our lovely Annie has been with us since she was just four years old, so she is a horse we know incredibly well and have done a bit of everything with — hunting, eventing Dressage, show jumping etc.

She’s a really smart, genuine mare who has plenty of ability and, in the right hands, could go on and do very well.

Annie has plenty of jump and is naturally careful without making life difficult for her rider. She’s bold to a fence, good with fillers and has jumped double clears up to British Novice.

On the flat she is sweet and straightforward. She has three nice paces and is forward off the leg without being strong or silly. She’s an easy horse to ride and is very forgiving, which makes her a really enjoyable mare to take out and about.

Cross country is another thing Annie absolutely loves. She’s big, bold and brave and will tackle ditches, water and pretty much anything else you could dream of jumping. She’s the sort that gives you plenty of confidence and gets on with the job.

She’s also good to hack, doesn’t get sting or silly in open spaces alone or in company.

Annie is good to load, clip, catch. shoe, easy to keep and good in all ways on the ground. She’s just a really lovely, genuine mare who deserves the best home.

Another really smart horse who we think has a lot to offer the right person.

A kind loving horse who is more than ready to find his person.

There’s not much Roger can’t do, he hunts, hacks events etc etc.

Dressage: Roger works well on the flat into a soft consistent contact with 3 correct rhythmical paces.

Showjumping: Roger has plenty of scope and has had clear rounds around 1m He is bold with fillers, naturally careful and tries hard. Loads more jump in him & a real potential for grassroots

Cross country: Roger is a dude, ditches, steps, water - you name it he’s bold careful and helps his rider out jumping off of any stride.

To hack: Roger goes alone in company, canters out quietly. Pops any ditches - is a real superstar!

Hunting: Roger is amazing. He stands at the meet, is polite and easy and doesn’t get excited or silly - has done two seasons with us and one in Ireland.

On the ground Roger has impeccable manners he loves people, cuddles and treats. He’s good to load, shoe, dentist, catch.

HHF Jennies Hope. 16.2 6yo (2020) chesnut mare By A Quidam M.

Hope is a lovely, talented mare who is a real pleasure to ride and work with. She has three good, strong, flashy balanced paces, working in a soft, consistent outline .

Bold to a fence but careful, with a really good attitude, she is not spooky or silly and is a horse who genuinely enjoys her job, a sensible, scopey jumper who is clever with her legs.

Hope has been to multiple BS shows, most recently spending three days at Arena UK’s Major Showjumping Championships, where she was a complete pleasure to do and handle in all ways and really enjoyed the atmosphere. She has multiple double clears at British Novice (on a ticket)

Hope has also been eventing and is bold and easy with steps, ditches, water etc. producing a smart dressage test As well as being sensible thought the day.

Good to handle and do, Hope is a lovely horse to have around and is ready to continue her career in whichever direction her next rider chooses.

Hope is a low mileage talented horse who needs an ambitious rider - so please no novices.

Doris ✨

Doris is a kind and talented mare with huge potential for eventing. She really is everything you could want in an event horse.

She has three beautiful, elastic paces and works consistently in a lovely outline. She is bold yet careful show jumping and always wants to look after her jockey.

Cross country is where Doris really comes into her own. She is fearless and has been cross-country schooling very happy with w, steps and a variety of other fences. She absolutely loves it.

She enjoys hacking, schooling and having a job to do. She is a real workmanlike horse who thrives on being kept busy and having a purpose.

On the ground, Doris is kind and loving on the ground.

Doris does, however, have a personality of her own — if she doesn’t like you, she doesn’t like you! She is happiest with a confident rider who has a soft seat and sympathetic hands. You don’t have to be a world-beating rider, but she does appreciate someone who is quiet, confident and fair.

Doris is a lovely mare with a huge amount to offer and we think she has a very exciting future ahead of her in the right hands.

Been to arena UK major showjumping championship. Stabled well, behaved impeccably and had a lovely time.
