Mowgli finished his racing career in June 2026 and was purchased from the July Sale at Tattersalls Newmarket. Since then he has had some downtime, and started light work.
Mowgli is proving to be pretty awesome under saddle. Hacks well, has started very basic schooling, which is large shapes and walk/trot/canter. Not sharp or silly.
This chap is very sweet, loves a cuddle and fuss, and is a bit of a dude.
As he is only three, and just out of racing, we don’t/wont have hundreds of videos/photos as he is only in work three time per week, mainly hacking, with one schooling session, and is planned to have another small holiday in the next few weeks.
He is the same whether you ride him every day, or hop on him after a few days/week of. Mowgli is very level headed, a very kind horse, and will be great fun to have around.
Comes with a clean set of back X-rays, front feet X-rays and knowledge that he did have ulcers when he left racing, but is now developing his body post racing very well.
He is only for sale as he, sadly, won’t be tall enough for his owner. He does have a small sarcoid on his whither about a thumbs print size, which doesn’t affect him
A fabulous home is a MUST for this absolutely wonderful and adorable chap.
