A beautiful, quality 6-year-old mare by Foundation out of a Sir Donnerhall mare, combining outstanding dressage breeding with a genuinely lovely temperament.
Bred by us at Faside Stud, Sia is another mare we had originally intended to retain. However, with a significant reduction in our breeding and youngstock numbers, we have reluctantly decided to offer her for sale.
She is currently being professionally backed and ridden away in Northern Ireland, where she is proving an absolute pleasure. Her rider describes her as having a superb attitude throughout, taking everything in her stride. She is blemish and vice free.
Her sire, Foundation, is an international Grand Prix dressage stallion renowned for his power, elasticity and exceptional movement, having received perfect 10s for both trot and canter at his performance test.
Her damsire, Sir Donnerhall I, is one of the most influential modern dressage sires, himself a Bundeschampion and Vice World Young Horse Champion, with numerous successful offspring at the highest levels of breeding and sport.
Sia offers an exciting opportunity to purchase a beautifully bred mare with the temperament to make a very rewarding riding partner. Bred with dressage in mind, she could also appeal to someone looking for a lovely all-round riding horse.
Priced very realistically at this stage of her education. Her price will increase as her ridden work progresses, giving someone the opportunity to purchase her now before she becomes more established.
Available direct from her breeder, with full history known.
Please contact me for further details. I’m very happy to put genuinely interested parties directly in touch with her professional rider in Northern Ireland, who can discuss her progress and arrange viewings.
