A genuine, kind and straightforward horse with a wonderful temperament and so much to offer.
King has been with us for the past four weeks on sales livery, and he really has been an absolute pleasure. He is a lovely, genuine horse with a fantastic attitude towards life and his work. A real gentleman who wants to please and is equally as nice to have around the yard as he is to ride.
On the flat, King schools very nicely in all three paces. He is snaffle mouthed, willing and reliable, without being sharp or silly. He gives his rider a lovely feel and is the sort of horse you can really enjoy spending time with.
Hacking is certainly one of King's strongest qualities. He is absolutely super to hack, happily going out alone or in company and proving sensible in all types of traffic. He takes everything in his stride and is a genuine pleasure to ride out, whether enjoying a quiet hack around the lanes or exploring the countryside.
King also has a lovely attitude towards his jumping. He is happy to pop small fences, tries hard and always wants to please. We feel he would make someone a lovely pleasure, riding club or all-round horse, offering plenty of enjoyment to a rider wanting to do a bit of everything.
On the ground, King is a complete gentleman. He is lovely to handle, good to shoe, catch and turn out, loads and travels well and absolutely loves a fuss. He has excellent manners and is totally vice-free. A genuinely kind horse who is a pleasure to have on the yard.
King is with us on sales livery on behalf of his owners, who have adored him for the past 19 months. He has been a much-loved member of their family, and finding him the right home is incredibly important to them. They would very much love to keep in contact with his new owners and follow his adventures in the future.
We genuinely feel King has so much to offer. He is a lovely horse with a wonderful personality, a willing outlook and all the qualities to make someone a fantastic long-term partner.
A real gentleman who deserves a five-star home where he can be loved and enjoyed.
