Pumpkin is a 14.2h, rising 5yo dun purebred Class 1 mare sired by Lightening Star, with world-famous grandsire Gwennic de Goariva
Pumpkin has flawless confirmation, beautiful colouring and a quiet temperament that gives her rider confidence in any situation
Pumpkin is an extremely level-headed, sensible mare who loves hacking alone or in company and is unphased by tractors, cows, traffic and machinery
She loves going new places and has started competing at training shows, proving to be adjustable and relaxed around a course
Pumpkin is confident at jumping doubles, one-strides and grids
She enjoys cross country and has zero fear of water, ditches, coffins, etc. without getting excited or strong
Pumpkin schools easily in the contact in a snaffle and is soft to the aids. Amateur riders will find her easy to keep going without much leg, she is not lazy or very forward.
Pumpkin is consistently forgiving and willing to please; she is unbothered by rider errors, a flap or a wobble, or bad distances
She is a very mild, mellow mare with no opinions or mareish behaviours. She can live in or out without any change to her character
We think that with her beautiful build and colour, Pumpkin could have a serious career as a show pony. She is also easygoing and manageable for a kid confidently jumping xrails, or an adult amateur looking for a safe, trustworthy partner to do a bit of everything!
Pumpkin is very gentle and kind for anyone to handle; easy to shoe, load, tie, plait, wash, catch, etc.
Pumpkin is open to any vetting
