Duncan 🍎 A perfect, safe pony for learning to canter and jump on with all Class 1 breeding! 🍏
Duncan is a 14.1h, rising 5yo dapple grey purebred Connemara gelding with all Class 1 breeding and a relaxed, easygoing attitude in every situation
He has a very slow, steady, comfy canter and is slightly more woah than go, making him suitable for a child learning to jump crossrails
Duncan is never spooky, bold, sharp or nervous and is very consistent in his work ethic
Duncan hunted and went cross country schooling with novice kids, as well as larger cross country tracks with our rider
He is very brave and adjustable around a course of fences, unphased by fillers of any kind
He knows how to jump doubles and one strides
Duncan always rides in a snaffle and is easy to ride in the contact. He is also quiet and focused when ridden on a loose rein
He is never excitable, strong or hot before or after the fence
Duncan hacks quietly alone or in company, and is very well behaved around traffic, cows, tractors and machinery
Duncan is very gentle for anyone to handle; easy to plait, shoe, load, tie, wash, etc.
He is open to any vetting
