Rocky is a stunning 16hh 4yr old gelding by the famous Class 1 Irish Draught Stallion, Moylough Legacy, who won the Irish Draught Stallion Class at the RDS Dublin Horse Show in 2023 and became a Gold Merit stallion for his progeny’s achievements in 2024. His dam, Barmaid is by Kings Master, who is a renowned ISH sire, with progeny competing up to 4* level both show jumping and eventing.

This guy is a superb stamp of a horse who is fun, genuine and talented. He’s a “leg at each corner” type, who’s reliable under saddle in all phases, a dream to have in the stable and an all round nice person to have in the yard. If you were looking for this horse, you could not find him. He’s got the temperament and attitude that money cannot buy.

We feel this guy could go on successfully in a number of spheres. He’s smart on the flat, brave and scopey over a fence and has the presence to excel in the show ring too. He really is the complete package.

Rocky is wise beyond his years and a very sensible, genuine horse. He’s snaffle-mouthed in all three phases, hacks alone and in company and good to do in all ways.

He’s been ridden by myself, a 13yr old girl and another member of my team, proving to be a very diverse horse. He’s so keen to please!
