Stunning Irish Draught X rising 5 year old mare.

Shelley Banks has the most wonderful temperament, super easy to do in all ways and exceeds at everything she does.

She is measured in for the year at 155cm.

Hunted late last season, then turned her hand to Working Hunter and show jumping, successful in every class taking home rosettes every time she was out.

Competed in two ridden classes at the back end of the season winning the LW ridden cob at tattersall’s and ridden in the LW Cob class in the RDS.

Achievements:
Third place in show of the east 4 year old workers ( her first ever show)
Qualified for Northern Ireland Festival.
Higest place 4 year old in the cob workers at Balmoral
1st place in tattersalls LW Cob ridden class.
Competed in LW ridden Cob class in the RDS.

This Mare has a bright future ahead of her she will excel in showing, Working Hunter and on the hunting field. Equally she makes light work of show jumping, dressage and cross country making her the ultimate all-rounder.
She is super to hack! Videos of her hacking along a busy main road going round a roundabout with traffic flying past her with very little space and she never flintched.
She would be suitable for Mother/teenager share or an amateur looking for a smart cob for the show ring.

GHOST

Gorgeous Irish Draught (green book recorded breeding) 2018 grey gelding standing at 17.1hh.

Ghost has done a bit of everything, he’s done riding club, showing, plenty of hunting, cross country and showjumping.

He has three comfortable paces on the flat and is a nice uncomplicated sort.

Ghost is a well mannered hunter, he’s an expert over a ditch, will cross any country and give you a lovely day, kind and mannerly with hands, will stand at the meet and on point, and jumps for fun. Anyone’s ride especially on the hunt field.

He is excellent in traffic, open spaces, alone and in company, unbothered by scary traffic and is used to the farm machinery.

He will give you plenty of confidence and he has a ‘can do’ attitude. A nice horse to have around, friendly, quiet and easy.

He makes a very slight noise of his wind, has been confirmed by a vet that no op / change is required and he doesn’t whistle, he has been brilliant to hunt all of this season with no issues, fit and ready to go, a lovely big head turning, substantial horse sale and he will do anyone’s job.

Clive is an absolutely delightful horse to have about. Although only recently broken in, this horse will literally do everything with a smile on his face. Trying his hardest to please his rider.

Clive is super in all traffic, he hacks alone or in company. On the busiest of roads or through the fields. He will go up the gallop on his own or in company. He has seen coloured and hunter type fences and is not at all spooky. He has three nice paces, going in an outline and a big careful jump.

Although green, he really would make the nicest all rounder for someone wanting a proper horse, or a superstar hunter as I have no doubt he would cross all kind of country. He is level, polite and snaffle mouthed, never pulling you. He will be the sort of horse that with a few more miles on his clock you'd be able to put your novice husband on to go hunting for the day.

I've also no doubt he would be very striking in the show ring.

He is good to box, shoe and clip with no vices. He has a recent clean vetting certificate when he came over from Ireland.

An absolute gentleman and true all-rounder, this stunning 6-year-old full Irish Draught gelding is beautifully put together, boasting lovely conformation and a huge, expressive step for a Draught. He’s a real head-turner with presence and quality.

Schooling very well on the flat, he shows the talent and movement to go far in dressage or showing. Over fences, he’s brave, honest, and straightforward — has schooled show jumps and arena eventing fences with ease. Point and go type: you kick, he goes. Always careful, never silly. He has competed at local hunter trials where he just skipped round happily behind.

Out hunting, he’s an absolute dream. Hunted in Ireland and the UK with both foxhounds and bloodhounds — impeccably mannered, sensible, and reliable. Equally happy leading, following, or holding the gate. A novice could safely ride him in the field, yet he’s bold enough to take on the bigger country. Would make a brilliant hunt service horse. Doesn’t get bothered by other horses — can lead or be led over fences.

He’s just one in a million — genuine, versatile, and easy in every way. Everything we’ve asked of him, he’s taken in his stride. Good enough to produce further in any sphere, but kind and uncomplicated enough to be enjoyed by anyone.

Custard is an exceptional 16.2hh 5yr HW Palomino ID/Maxi Cob gelding.

He has 9 inches of bone making him a fabulous weight carrier.

He hacks alone and in company and seen a variety of traffic.

Beautifully put together a lovely substantial sort with correct movement. His canter is to die for like sitting on a rocking horse. He is super light on his feet and got placed at his first showing show in hand and ridden.

Competed at his first showjumping show and just popped around sweetly.

GUINNESS

Gorgeous, correct, classy and the real package. This lovely 2019 registered Irish Draught (green book full recorded breeding) gelding stands at 16.2hh, a substantial chap, absolute head turner and a brilliant, charming personality to match.

Guinness has done plenty of hunting, he loves it, he will go anywhere in the field, stands at the meet and will literally jump anything you put in front of him, a complete professional over a ditch, class back end over a hedge and will trot and pop over a rail off a road or in trappy country. He is excellent with hounds, a placid horse around others and just guaranteed to give you the most lovely day.

This lovely chap is friendly, laid back and easy, he can be ridden by anyone, of all abilities and will carry a heavier rider. Despite his brilliance out in the hunt field, he has done unaffiliated eventing, riding club, showjumping, XC and farm rides, and a test.

He’s been an allrounder and has done plenty, he has lots of scope and makes a great shape over a fence, never says no and will always help you out. Just a genuine horse, with a lovely way about him. He would excel in the show ring, lovely stamp and he’s always complimented wherever he goes.

Guinness is a fabulous horse to hack out, will ride and lead, or be lead, he’s happy going with others or solo and is unbothered by everything.

Super safe, quality and fun chap, and very much a unicorn.
