    • Ted has an amazing wonderful laid back friendly temperament
    • Ted would be a super family allrounder. He will excel at all riding club activities but he is also oozes quality to become a top maxi cob if anyone wanted to go down that route

Irish, Coloured, Gelding, 6 years, 15.2 hands

Regularly ridden by children as well as adults - Brain of a schoolmaster

Ted has a genuine laid back temperament. He rides much older than his years. He gives the most wonderful comfortable ride

He is not strong in any way and a dream to hack or school in open spaces

He is a jolly responsive ride without being silly. Very good brakes. Snaffle mouth at all times

He will happily live in or out. Turns out with mares or geldings. Also happy to turn out solo

He is brilliant to box, shoe and clip. Travels in a lorry or trailer

He is not going to be a grand prix showjumper but wil happliy pop around a small course of coloured jumps

He would show in coloured classes as he is very evenly marked

He is not fazed by farm machinery and is good on the roads. We also hack out with our dogs which he is happy to do so as well. You can also ride and lead off him

With his laid back temperament he does not need to be ridden every day

Very people friendly and loves lots of cuddles and carrots.!!!

    Traditional competition cob

    Straight moving and elevated cob

Cob, Coloured, Gelding, 7 years, 15 hands

Archie is a wonderful, straight moving traditional coloured cob looking for a competitive home

Archie has been trained by a first class event rider and then bought on by a BHS instructor. He is well schooled and unspoilt

He is fit and has great stamina. His recovery time from hard exercise is virtually nil. He really is a super fun cob ! I have not yet shown him ridden due to time constraints, however, he has the most phenomenal hock action and elevated paces I have ever seen

I have left him feathered and with his huge long mane, simply because for in hand showing he is beautiful too

Archie has no vices. He will stand all day to be brushed, washed, clipped and groomed. He lives on fresh air and is currently barefoot as he has rock crunching feet, although he is good for the farrier if you prefer shoes. Archie loads himself into the horsebox and is unphased by travelling. He has no stable or field vices and can live out happily with mares or geldings

His new Kent and Masters cob GP saddle which has been professionally fitted to him is also available

Archie will make somebody a very happy and lucky owner!

Stunning coloured 16hh mare

Irish, Coloured, Mare, 13 years, 16 hands

Stunning 16hh mare. Dun with white legs and white patches but with a beautiful dorsal stripe!

Very biddable mare, easy to handle in all ways

Low mileage with previous owner of five years who schooled her and competed at dressage. Always first or second!

I bought her to hunt which I have done and she is fantastic and keen! I have taken her on a fun ride which she also enjoyed. I hack her around the farm, schooled her on the flat and jump her also

This is a genuine sale due to being over stocked with my husband now having a horse! I also ride and school my sons cob so I don't have the time to do all the fun things I had hoped to do with this lovely mare

Comes with a full vetting certificate which she passed in July

Good home only as she is a very kind and talented horse who will be greatly missed

Can be tried with us on the farm - jumps are here and can be hacked out. No loans or trials!

Horton's Teddy Boy
Add to my Stable
  • Outstanding Heavyweight Coloured Show Cob
  • Potential HOYS 2015 contender
  • A real showman

Horton's Teddy Boy

Outstanding 155cm coloured H/W show cob gelding

Cob, Skewbald, Gelding, 6 years, 15.1 hands

Outstanding 155cm coloured heavyweight show cob gelding

Having produced show cobs for many years I feel that 'Ted' is truly one of the best if not the best cob I have ever owned and is surely destined for a prolific showing career

He has depth, a huge front,10 inches of quality flat bone with substance in abundance, he's very well marked and has a lovely temperament, is a total character and a real showman

Ted is 6 years old and was purchased from Ireland spring 2014 with the intention of producing him and campaigning him both as a heavyweight cob and also in coloured classes and we believe him to be a serious HOYS 2015 contender, however due to my ongoing back problems he has done very little in the last 6 months and is now sadly and very reluctantly for sale

Ted is a little green, unshown and unseen, he's a forward going responsive lively fun ride and requires a capable jockey who will be able to continue his education and realise his massive potential

He has been hacked on quite roads past HGV's, tractors and combines etc and hasn't been fazed at all by anything

Ted was lightly hunted in Ireland and has a serious jump so could also be suitable for working show horse classes or would make a phenomenal hunter

He has a soft snaffle mouth, is off the leg, extremely clever and would become the 'finished article' be it show horse or hunter with little work

For sale through absolutely no fault of his own

No novices as he is still green and hasn't been in regular work recently, although he has always been impeccably well behaved when ridden after having long periods of time off when I haven't been able to ride him

5* knowledgable permanent loving home, no dealers or joyriders please

True Gent

Top Qaulity County Horse

Irish Draught, Grey, Gelding, 8 years, 16 hands
Patrick is the most fantastic horse to be around and will truly break my heart to sell him

He has perfect manners in everyway, he was new to showing and ended up winning North Yorkshire county, was in good position the Great Yorkshire

First at Penistone Agriculture,2nd Wooley.qaulified for PUK Amateurs but we didn't go as it was too far - Only done these few shows at county as we stepped up from local after winning everything

Got loads more to give

He also sj/xc/2nd at High Hoyland with 15 year old daughter last year. Done Estrick/Somerford park/Clinics with Karen Dixon at Epworth who loved him

Jumps ditches drops steps did the bigger ones farm ride Somerford park, 2 weeks ago

Never runs off snaffle mouthed, excellent on the road in the heaviest of traffic babysits my new horse on road buses tractors lorries bikes nothing fazes him

Hacks alone and in company, will go first or last galloping in fields, loves hunting will go at back help with the children. never gets fizzy

No vices clean legged will turn his hoof to anything never show before just goes does his job can take him on my own anywhere so good to handle on ground and aboard could put a complete novice on him or child, goes in trailer or box excellent to shoe bath clip, this horse is loved by everyone he's also good with other horses

I cant say one thing bad about him he the sort of horse that everyone wants he's given me so much confidence, it has been the most terrible decision to make,

I've just bought another horse one to do hunter classes on and finding it so difficult to do both and keep up training lessons etc so I am putting work into new one and seems a shame to not let Patrick do the things he likes to

Will only let him go to that special person who will love him like I do

I'm sure the first person to see him will want to buy him I would like him to go to a home where he can carry on doing things truly a special boy
