  • HURSTPIERPOINT COLLEGE NATIONAL PONY CLUB TEAM CHAMPION (4th Individual)

Troy is a genuine show jumping school master who we bought just over a year ago in order to teach my daughter the ropes of the bigger tracks. He was owned by his previous teenage owner for 6 years with whom he got onto the BS AASE and Excel Programmes.

Within three weeks of owning Troy, my daughter had gone from jumping 1m05 to winning at the Hurstpierpoint College National Pony Club Championships (1m20), being nominated to jump off for the team in order to secure their Championship Title, as well as taking 4th place individually. Then within the same month, he took her round her first 1m30.

We are now looking to move up the grades again but being 17, Troy is looking to step down a level to enable him to continue his winning form.  Troy still has an enormous amount to give and would be ideally suited to a teenager looking to come off ponies, or a top level Riding Club home, or a British Show Jumping home focused at the National Amateur and Veteran Class levels (1.10m – 1.15M).

Troy is a dream horse, an absolute pleasure to have on any yard - he would like to be your best friend, he is a complete joker and loves cuddles. His only small downside is he doesn't like his head being clipped, but he has no other vices - he is a lovely hack, great to lunge, easy with the dentist, farrier, to load and travel, and behaves impeccably at shows (whether day or away). If he is not ridden for a few days, he behaves no differently.

5* home only, that will be vetted for our one in a million – home more important than price.

Serious enquiries only please as this is a very special horse.

Irish Sports Horse Gentleman. A wonderful horse and a pleasure to look after, Prince is a very experienced horse in all ways, he is a been there done it and got the t-shirt type. He adjusts himself to suit his riders ability, and is extremely forgiving. He is always ridden in a snaffle and has a nice mouth, he is easy to work in an outline or will ride along a loose rein should the rider prefer! Prince has lovely paces and he very comfy to ride. He does a decent dressage test and knows basic lateral aids.

Prince is a school master and a confidence giver for all riding club or pony club activities. He is happy to teach a nervous or more novice rider over small courses but will easily pop a 1m05cm track of show jumps or XC with ease. Perfect mother / daughter share. Safe and sane enough for a riding school or working livery. He has previously done eventing and hunting in Ireland.

He hacks alone or in company and goes straight out onto a very busy main road. He has no vices, travels and loads easily, good to clip and shoe, perfect to catch. A true gentleman and the type that is very hard to come across. Vaccinated, passport, wormed etc.

Monbeg Bounty - Super level headed, snaffle mouthed with a can do attitude.

Won at the Royal Dublin Horse Show in 4 year old hunter class.

Hunted for 2 seasons as a hunt hireling and as a gentlemans hunter. Crosses all country with ease; ditches, hedges, rails etc. Goes first or last, stands on point with no concerns. Could easily hunt hounds or field master.

Well put together with 3 balanced correct paces, easy outline and soft in the mouth, beginning to establish changes.

Schooling round 1.20m - 1.30m at home and jumping single fences of 1.45; competed up to 1.05m in the ring at present. Not BS registered so still eligible for all novice classes. Big bold jump with correct technique, rides to a fence on a rhythem.

Schooled cross country to Novice level fences and competed ODE at BE 90 level; jumps into and out of water.

Hacks alone or in company, easy to box, shoe, clip.

I cannot stress how much of a fantastic head and attitude this horse has. Nothing fazes him, you can ride him every day or once a week he still comes out
exactly the same. My mum hacks him twice a week and has not ridden for 20+ years. He tries anything you ask of him and has never said no. He has been ridden by a multitude of people from 5ft small amateur girl to 6ft gentleman who had never sat on a horse before.

He is safe and sensible enough for a novice to have as the ultimate riding club/pony club horse yet he has enough talent to be an asset to anyone wanting to progress through the levels eventing or go team chasing.

Only for sale due to owners increased time abroad on business.

If calling in the week and no answer please leave a message and I will call you back after work.

My name is Robbin Diamonds, I was born in 2004 I am a very SMART Irish Sports Horse. My main love is Eventing especially Cross country, I am a machine, nothing spooks me or holds me back, I will do my best to bring my rider home safe every time. I have Evented for 6 years up to 1*.

I have been with my home for 4 years and loved every minute, now its time to move on and give someone else the chance for me to have fun and teach another family. I am very good to catch, clip, shoe, hack and travel, but i would rather travel with some friend if possible.

I enjoy all discipline so would be great for a BE, RC or PC family.

I do need a 5* home as my owners will be very fussy on where I go.

This extremely kind and genuine horse has been with us nearly 6 years and has been a perfect allrounder for our staff, my husband (who is a beginning rider), and anyone else who was looking for a trustworthy horse to ride.

Before coming to us he was in a hunting yard with an amateur who had lots of fun with him and he has been hunting with various people while he has been with us as well. He has an excellent pedigree and is by the famous "Unbelievable Darco", so although he is an allrounder, he does have some real quality about him!

Basically, this lovely horse is currently being wasted on our yard as my husband has given up riding and we are very busy with no time to ride him. He is very low milage with plenty of years left to give, and he would be perfect for an amateur or inexperienced rider who is looking for a fun horse to do dressage, jumping, hunting and hacking with.

He is 100% easy to do in every way and would love to be spoiled again!

Roberto is the ultimate schoolmaster ready to teach his next jockey the ropes and be in serious contention for the GB Junior Event Team.

He joined our family 3 years ago from a SJ background and has taken to eventing like a duck to water. He has been solely produced by an amateur teenage girl.

He works beautifully on the flat and knows all lateral movements including half-pass, travers, shoulder in etc. He has really shone this year scoring 27.3 at BE intermediate level, 21.6 at PC open level, 47.4 at FEI CCI* and regularly scores 65+% BD elementary.

He is a brilliant showjumper – rarely having a pole at 1.10/1.20 height with numerous double clears on his BS record. He jumped double clear in his first 1.25. He has so much scope and fantastic technique. He has qualified for the PC champs this year for Open SJ after jumping one of only 2 triple clears at Area SJ.

He is a complete pro XC rarely having a fault. He is very genuine and bold and has finally learnt to gallop this year, easily making the time at novice/1* level. He has not been pushed for the time at int level this season due to hard ground but came very close on cruise control at Aston with just 3.6TP. He is not spooky and is a dream to ride across country. His occasional faults have been completely rider error where it has been impossible for him to jump.

He and I have grown together completing our first BE advanced and CCI** clear xc. He has competed in all junior and young rider trials and is qualified for CIC*** but we have chosen not to pursue this route as we do not think he’ll be fast enough to be competitive at this level despite being very talented, willing and trainable. We would prefer him to go to a junior home and compete at a level where he is seriously competitive.

He has qualified for the PC champs for both open show jumping and open eventing so he will not go until this is completed – it is my last swansong before moving away but we are open to trials.

He completed Houghton CCI* this year on his 47.4 dressage to finish 14th/100+ competitors and is Area 6 Open Eventing Champion.

He is not silly or strong and is a complete gent to ride but he does have character!

He has hunted over the biggest Cottesmore country and jumped everything in sight. He stood quietly and beautifully at the meet and loved the hounds.

He is a member of the family, adored by all. A very rare and sad sale of a much loved friend and horse of a lifetime as jockey is off to university 4 hours away and we would hate to see him wasted.

Beautiful 16.1hh 14yrs Irish grey gelding. Billy is 100% in every way. He has numerous wins and placing in affiliated British Eventing up to Intermediate including a faultless cross country record with his previous rider (record Will He Won't He). Taken current rider safely round numerous BE100s as well as their first Novice after a break from Eventing.

Current rider has also enjoyed placings up to Newcomers affiliated showjumping including two wins in his last two outings, he has also excelled in combined training classes. Billy has a soft snaffle mouth and is very easy and reliable on the flat he is very calm which allows him to achieve consistently good scores in this phase. He has established lateral work in all three paces.

Billy really can turn his hoof to anything, he has a lot of experience Eventing but could equally excel in pure showjumping or dressage too. He loves jumping but is also very trainable and easy on the flat.

He is good to hack alone or in company and has perfect manners on the ground and is good to box, clip, shoe etc. He is happy living in or out and has no vices. He really is a perfect gentleman and sort hard to find. He is fit and entered for competitions, current rider will continue to compete him until he is sold.

He could be a super Grassroots horse for an amateur or teenager looking for a safe yet competitive and well schooled ride. Alternatively he has the potential to go back up to Novice / 1* or continue on in a showjumping/dressage career with a competent rider.

Open to any vet/trainer, please note that he does have a heart murmur which is reflected in his price, this does not affect his performance in any way. 5 stage vetting and cardiology report can be viewed dating from late 2015.

Only for sale due to rider scaling back due to increased work commitments, 5* home essential for this wonderful horse.

Bombproof, fantastic allrounder coloured Irish bred cob for sale.

Bob would be a brilliant mother / daughter share / PC pony. He will look after a novice child, but can up his game for the more experienced. He is a genuine, willing pony who jumps off any stride and is safe. He jumps walls, hedges, ditches, spooky fillers, and took a novice rider around a full set of showjumps. He produces some lovely flat work, is a nice mover, and has competed at dressage, winning his first test (with his previous owner). Equally, he is happy to go around on the buckle, and doesn't get strong.

He has had a variety of riders from novice / unbalanced / disabled children, to competent teenagers and adults. The photo of him jumping in the arena here is with an 11 year old girl who has had little jumping experience and this was her first ride on him.

Bob is very sure footed and a pleasure to hunt. He hunted on boxing day with the VWH at Cirencster Park, and despite the size of the field and the crowds, he did not hot up. He stands quietly at the meet, and will hunt on the buckle, stops when the field stops - but likes to keep up.

He is fantastic in traffic - and is used to big tractors, lorries, farm machinery, low flying helicopters and livestock (including pigs!).

Out hacking, he is happy to go in front, middle or behind. He is good to be led from another horse or to be the lead horse, and he has completed fun rides in the UK and Ireland, including trekking.

Bob has a fabulous nature! He loves people and always comes up to see you in the field, and loves being groomed and fussed over. Brilliant to atch, load and travel in a lorry or a trailer and good to shoe. He is happy to live in or out, doesn't get silly if he has to be stabled for long periods of time and is the same to ride whether ridden frequently or after a few weeks off!

Bob is now ready to move on to his next family and teach someone the ropes!

This super mare has such a lovely nature and superb temperament, she is a real trier and is extremely genuine. She is so straightforward and easy to do for literally any rider. There are no quirks, issues or hang ups, you get on and she does her job!

Cool alley or alley as she is known at home is as cool as her name suggests! She is a 16.1hh 7yr old mare by the sire Iroko and the dam Rathnure Ruby, a lovely stamp with great conformation, a leg in each corner and good solid feet.

Alley has had both success affiliated showjumping and eventing with her two previous owners, she has wins and double clears upto and including 1.10m with a small lady rider, she is careful, agile and really enjoys her showjumping. She has successfully spent the last two seasons eventing at be100 level with good results finishing 2nd in one of her latest runs with a 31.5 dressage and a super double clear inside the time. She loves her xc and has lots of scope and ability to move up through the levels, no issues with water, ditches, steps, skinnies or big and bold.

Has three super paces with good dressage scores at be100 level always low 30's without having lots of training so with further education there is lots more to come, works in a correct consistent outline, off the aids without being sharp and is very trainable and learns quickly.

A lovely mare to have in the yard, not in the slightest bit marish, always has her ears forward and wants to please, very easy to do, happily to live in or out, no vices, great stable manners, super to box, shoe, clip, catch, doesn't need daily riding to be kept sane, happy to be picked up and put down as and when to suits the rider.

Great hack both alone and in company, really enjoys her hacking and will hack anywhere with anyone, great in open spaces and super in all traffic.

Super horse for an amateur to really have fun on and be competitive at the same time, would move up the levels with continued education and as horse and rider develop a partnership. Please see video of her doing all activities
