Absolutely stunning Oldenberg X Irish sport horse. Huge presence & limitless potential to go on to Medium and beyond.

Purchased directly from breeder in 2014 as a 4.5yr old. Ridden and schooled by my daughter 10 at the time and now 13yrs. Beautiful flashy movement, natural rhythm, big paces, eye catching and has great presence.

Tiri has beautiful manners and has never put a foot wrong. He has been brought on slowly never over jumped and professionally schooled to back up my daughters work. All lateral work and changes established and starting pirouettes.

Tiri is very well established at higher Novice Dressage, schooling at Elementary with limitless potential.

He has consistently competed and had numerous wins show jumping up to 1.10m, Schooling up to 1.20 at home. He has huge ability over fences and is super scopey, very careful, never stops and jumps for fun. He would also make a great WHP - with his natural jumping ability, beautiful uphill paces and ring presence.

He is 100% safe and sound. Has been extremely well looked after and has regular sports massage, to keep him delivering these top results!

Good to box, clip, currently barefoot, easy to do in every way and happy to hack alone or in company.
Snaffle mouthed in all disciplines. Fully vaccinated and microchipped.

He is the love of our family - he will only go to a loving 5* home who appreciates all he can offer.

Only serious enquiries. Videos on demand.

  • Snaffle mouthed, hacks alone & in company
  • Jumps hedges, rails, ditches, walls, spooky fillers
  • Brilliant PC pony

Bombproof, fantastic allrounder coloured Irish bred cob for sale.

Bob would be a brilliant mother / daughter share / PC pony. He will look after a novice child, but can up his game for the more experienced. He is a genuine, willing pony who jumps off any stride and is safe. He jumps walls, hedges, ditches, spooky fillers, and took a novice rider around a full set of showjumps. He produces some lovely flat work, is a nice mover, and has competed at dressage, winning his first test (with his previous owner). Equally, he is happy to go around on the buckle, and doesn't get strong.

He has had a variety of riders from novice / unbalanced / disabled children, to competent teenagers and adults. The photo of him jumping in the arena here is with an 11 year old girl who has had little jumping experience and this was her first ride on him.

Bob is very sure footed and a pleasure to hunt. He hunted on boxing day with the VWH at Cirencster Park, and despite the size of the field and the crowds, he did not hot up. He stands quietly at the meet, and will hunt on the buckle, stops when the field stops - but likes to keep up.

He is fantastic in traffic - and is used to big tractors, lorries, farm machinery, low flying helicopters and livestock (including pigs!).

Out hacking, he is happy to go in front, middle or behind. He is good to be led from another horse or to be the lead horse, and he has completed fun rides in the UK and Ireland, including trekking.

Bob has a fabulous nature! He loves people and always comes up to see you in the field, and loves being groomed and fussed over. Brilliant to atch, load and travel in a lorry or a trailer and good to shoe. He is happy to live in or out, doesn't get silly if he has to be stabled for long periods of time and is the same to ride whether ridden frequently or after a few weeks off!

Bob is now ready to move on to his next family and teach someone the ropes!

  • Home for life (2 young children and more cousins being created!!)

Hello, I'm looking for a first/lead rein pony for my 2 sons (3yrs and 2yrs old). They are pony mad, and the polo ponies are currently not enjoying being lead rein ponies so I think it is time, they had a pony for themselves!

- Age - not an issue
- Sex - not an issue
- Colour - not an issue
- Looks - not an issue
- Size - below 12hh

I'm after what everyone is after, a fail safe pony, who is good with young children, loves being patted, groomed, played with, dressed up etc etc. Safe in traffic (we live on a farm, so tractors and gators!)! Needs to be safe to be ridden by 1 son while either handler (moi) is pushing a pushchair or shouting/picking up other son riding a scooter or bike in front, the joys of 2 boys!!!!

We are based on the Somerset/Dorset borders, happy to travel (within reason!!!)

Cammy is a 14.2hh pony looking for a new loan home. She has previously competed up to BE 90, BS Junior Newcomers and been used in all pony club activities. Now at 23 she is suiting a quieter life hacking and going to local shows, however is still full of life and has many more years left in her.

Over the past few years she has proved to be a great confidence giver, she is extremely easy to look after and has the ability to adapt to whoever is around her. She loves being fussed and groomed, is great to plod about on a hack but will also enjoy a good gallop around a field.

I have had her for the past 13 years and therefore, she is very special to us. Only 5* homes will be accepted. We would love for her to go to a small adult that wants a pony to love and grow in confidence with, doing lots of hacking and to just enjoy owning her.

Buster is a stunning bay 13-year-old 148cm (LHC) Irish Sports Pony. He has a heart of gold and has brought my daughter on in leaps and bounds in the 2 years we have had him. We bought him for her as a nervous 12 year old competing at 70cm and they have now been flying around chunky 100cm show jumping and cross country courses. Their most recent achievement was coming third in the NSEA Intermediate (90cm) Summer Show Jumping Championships at The Royal Windsor Horse Show this May.

They have had numerous wins and placings at NSEA and Pony Club events (ODEs, JAS, Eventer Challenges). He adores his show jumping and is extremely quick and careful against the clock and will always help his rider out. In his previous home in Ireland he accrued 133 SJI points jumping up to 120 tracks. He loves his cross country, jumping ditches, water, drops, steps without batting an eyelid. He is forward going but is not strong or silly. He competed in his first BE90 earlier this spring. He works very well on the flat, has done several pony club camps, hacks out happily on his own and in company and has hunted in Ireland.

Buster has a very sweet nature and always wants to please. He is a 100% honest pony both in the saddle and on the ground. He is easy to clip, wash, shoe, catch, load, groom, do studs etc. Happy to stand around at a show and his behaviour doesn’t change from home to being at an event.

This is a heartbreaking sale of a loyal family friend who has now been enormously outgrown. We are looking for a 5* caring home where he will be loved and cherished and in return he will give enormous pleasure to another family. Up to date on teeth, vacs, back etc. References available and open to vet.

Bumble is the most genuine pony I have ever owned / known. Owned since a 4yo, Bumble has been my best friend and been an absolute dream to produce.

Bumble loves all Pony Club and Riding Club activities; rallies, competitions, fun rides, etc.

Competed PC, RC, NSEA - always placed.

Lovely dressage and jumping - schooled by international event rider, Vittoria Panizzon while rider has been recovering from recent spinal surgery.

Never, ever stopped at a fence, would jump off a cliff if I asked him to! LOVES jumping! Competed at BE 80 and BE 90 and schooled perfectly up to BE Novice. Never looks at fillers, ditches, water, steps etc, complete dream!

Extremely fun pony to ride in all disciplines. Perfect hack; hacks alone or in company, brilliant in open fields, busy roads, forests, etc. Hacked by nervous mother. Bumble never fails to put a smile on my face.

If it wasn't for my ongoing spinal injury, he would absolutely NOT be up for sale! But I know he would be very upset left in the field doing nothing.

We have such an incredible partnership and I know this little boy is going to go so, so far in the future.

Bumble would be a perfect PC or RC pony.

I would like Bumble to go to someone who is going to spend lots of quality time with him, getting to know his amazing personality! He's such a clown. He loves to be ridden, but equally, he will stand and have a fuss and treats for hours!

Plenty of photos and videos available on request.

I am extremely busy so if you are interested please drop me a text or email and I will get back to you ASAP. PLEASE no time wasters as this little horse means the absolute world to me and this is hard enough as it is. 10*****home / rider ONLY!!

15hh reg (green passport) Flea bitten Connie gelding, 17 years but you wouldn't think so - Foaled 1999

Casper is the most perfect pony club pony, you could put a complete novice on him and he would look after them wether competing or just hacking, or a pot hunter who likes to go out and get results! Snaffle mouthed for all disciplines

I brought him for my 14 year old daughter to hunt, last summer, he was just a bit forward going in the field so was hunted by a 15 year old girl, who was helping whip in to hounds and all the duties that go with it e.g. opening gates, off on point, in amongst hounds and leading huntsman's horse. This job he loved either 1st or 2nd horse most Saturdays and several times in school holidays

My daughter has done 4 local HT in a pair this spring, going clear in everyone, and being placed in all of them. Perfect for mum to ride as well. Great at sponsored rides and Eventer challenges

Can live on his own, is happy to live out. Great to shoe, clip, plait, travel lorry/trailer. Generally a really nice man who still has a lot to give

Sadly my daughters legs keep growing, else he would be staying here

Increasing numbers of internet advertisers are receiving emails from bogus buyers, attempting to scam sellers

This tactic is a worldwide problem; however it would appear to be on the rise in the equine industry, targeting everything from horses and ponies for sale, to horseboxes, trailers and tack

**EXAMPLE SCAM ALERT**

We've been informed of a new email scam doing the rounds. This time the scam email in commonly coming from ‘Travis Bennett’ & 'Cynthia PT', asking a list of questions & offering to transfer a deposit and payment for shipping. Please ignore this email and if you have time report it to Action Fraud, for more details click HERE

In another instance the scammer will contact you via email asking if your horse is still for sale, this will be followed by an email containing 23 questions as shown on the picture on the left. Please do not respond to this email. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and rest assured we are doing our best to combat this.

Another scam which is particularly common, is  when theadvertiser is contacted about an item, asking for more images, and then once the images have been received the bogus buyer will agree to send a cheque for the full amount.  At this point the seller is asked to email their full contact details to enable the buyer to send payment. The seller is then contacted again saying that the cost of shipping has accidently been included on the cheque, and could the seller forward the cost of shipment onto a courier, which is also bogus

These scams can vary, however emails are often written in broken English and written in an over friendly style.  We urge HorseQuest customers to respond to email enquiries with caution. If something sounds too good to be true, it often is!

If you think you’ve been scammed then we strongly recommend that you contact the police
