Connie is a well bred 16.3hh, 6 year old bay mare. She is a beautiful model with striking good looks and brilliant confirmation.

Although still green (rider injury delayed her start) she is showing lots of potential as an eventer or show jumper. She is brave to a fence and has a great hind leg. Ridden in a snaffle for all disciplines

Good to hack alone and in company. No stable vices. Easy to catch, clip, shoe, load.

She would be a great project for a serious amateur or competent junior

She has attended sj shows, unaffiliated ode, xc schooled and is now ready to go affiliated and progress through the levels. Certainly has enough scope for 1*.

An exceptionally talented and good looking little mare with 3 correct, straight paces. She has established flatwork and a naturally balanced canter. Won and placed unaffiliated dressage up to elementary and capable of sub 30 eventing tests.

She is an absolute delight to jump SJ or XC and never fails to bring a smile to your face. She has scope, ability, a quick brain and looks for her fences. Lightly competed at BE100 last season. Should have gone Novice and has all the ability to do so and more, however my lack of finances has meant that I cannot put in the training and the runs required and has eventually led to the very sad decision to sell. Every trainer she goes to thinks she is wonderful and her jumping ability never goes unnoticed.

Jumping double clear at Discovery, qualified for SEIB indoor eventing championships last year. Snaffle mouthed at all times. This mare is careful and quick enough to pure SJ and again should go on up the levels.

This mare has a lovely nature and will only go to a knowledgeable, competitive home where she will reach her full potential. Plenty of photos and videos available.

15.2hh Chestnut Mare 8yrs. Extremely sad sale of this beautiful mare Heartstopper. Angelina is a complete all rounder, winning at BE90 and currently competing at BE100 with 3 top ten placings.

She has an outstanding record, Angelina was placed 5th in the Mitsubishi Motors Cup BE90 Championship at Badminton this year, with an outstanding double clear.

This amazing little horse has also qualified for the World Cup showjumping in France for her Riding Club teams this year.

Angelina is currently schooling at Novice level xc with ease and working at Elementary at home.

She is very good to box, clip and a delight to take to shows.

This talented mare has a very bright future ahead of her and will excel in any sphere. She would make an ideal junior eventer, SJ, WHP. (Her mother won HOYS & RI)

This is an extremely heart breaking decision as owner wants to sell. We would love to keep her and move up the grades. Please NO novices as she is a competition horse.

Charlie was homebred, then professionally broken as a 4yo. He was then turned away before coming back into full training at 5yo.

He really enjoys his jumping and is proving to be particularly talented. He is athletic, clever and careful over fences.

He is also fairly established on the flat and is showing much promise with 3 expressive, balanced paces and supple lateral work. Judges like him.

Charlie has been both cross country and arena cross country schooling. He's is confident with water, ditches and steps.

Excellent to hack and great with traffic. Really loveable, trainable temperament.

He has competed in Dressage, SJ and combined training.

Ideally suited to rider looking for a talented young horse, that has been brought on slowly and correctly, that is now ready to continue his training and competition career in this new home.

Cally Is a very exciting competition horse with a lot to love. She is a strong eventer and regularly scores in the 20s for dressage. She has competed with the previous owner at 1*, and now is regularly competing at BE100. She would suit a competent teenager or small adult looking to do well at BE100open or U18, who is coming out of ponies.

She would also suit someone who is looking to do more dressage, having scored 21 in a BE 100 in April.

She has a kind temperament and is very easy to do. She is good to handle, whether it be to clip, shoe, groom, hack, inject, teeth etc. She travels in a lorry or trailer and will happily stand all day at an event.

She is a fantastic ride across the country, proving to be bold and always looking for the flags. She has very smart paces and works in a well in an outline, this shown when she recently qualified for the Area 13 Pony Club Dengie Dressage Championships.

She is fit and ready to go and is sadly for sale due to my 15-year-old daughter's recent growth spurt over the winter that has meant she is just too big for her.

Really sad sale of this incredibly forgiving, confidence giving schoolmaster.

Valley has 3 lovely paces, a huge scopey jump and is very bold and straight forward XC. Snaffle mouthed in all three phases.

He successfully took his teenage rider from BE90 to Novice last season. He is now ready to move on and teach someone else the ropes at BE90/100. Would make a perfect U18 100 horse due to his willingness to continuously help out his rider.

Absolutely loves his job and always tries his hardest to please. Has previously done all Pony Club activities including Open area SJ and Open eventing champs. Would also excel at team chasing and/or as a tetrathlon horse.

Good to hack both alone and in company, box, shoe etc.

Fit and ready to go, passed a five stage vetting Feb 2016. Open to any vets

If you're looking for a competitive horse, proven at the bigger shows, on a smaller budget then this is your horse!

Very honest and always tries her best for her rider - would be great for someone coming off ponies, a competitive amateur or for someone wanting to move up the levels as she has a great foundation & form at Newcomers.

Has previously competed in 2-phase eventing in Ireland up to 1m10. She has schooled around novice XC and is very brave; jumping banks, ditches, water etc. Therefore, she could make a great eventer in the hand rights. Previously done unaffiliated dressage and has lovely big paces; lots of potential to be worked on but this horse does prefer her jumping.

Her sire jumped up to 1m35 and her siblings are successful competition horses.

She does have her quirks, which is reflected in her price and these can be discussed with interested parties. In no way is she nasty/naughty - she was bred by her owner so her full history is known! She can be hot to ride when jumping so no novices – she knows her job inside out so is very easy to jump for a confident rider. She is an extremely sweet horse that loves being loved and will only go to a 5* loving home. She needs a confident rider and handler. This is a very difficult sale only due to other circumstances. Loads of photos & videos available. BS name: Keens Lordez

Up to date with vaccinations, recently worm counted and ready to go for someone to have fun on!

A beautiful Irish bred horse who has been professionally produced.
He will excel in any discipline.
He is 'that' horse at the show, everyone comments on how impressive he is and stops to watch, he is a big smart horse and I can guarantee everyone will want to know how he's bred etc. He's THE best horse I've ever ridden and anyone can ride him.

By cross town dancer (king of diamonds)

Eventing
showing a huge talent for eventing, getting low 20 scores and double clears.
Has done 2 be90 - placed both times and now stepping up to be100. He is entered for mount Ballan be100.
He is a series contender for grassroots, with his amazing flat work and natural ability to jump he could really produce to a high level. He's a very easy ride and loves the cross country fences.

Showing/workers
Originally produced and purchased from Louise Bell (prolific working hunter champion and international dressage rider) so as you could imagine he rides like a dream.
His looks and ability would certainly push him to be the next top working hunter horse, he did a brief novice season last year but due to owner's pregnancy he hasn't done a lot of workers, although won many local level workers with champion and supreme. currently entered for Royal bath and west and Three counties for novice and RIHS/HOYS Qualifiers with Amy Tough. His movement is fantastic with excellent conformation.
He did a few middle weight classes last year for ring experience and got some fantastic placings at big county shows. The judges always commented on his ride, often saying 'the best of the day'.

Show jumping
Registers BSJA, he has qualified for British novice second rounds for this year and is still eligible to jump BN as he only had 37 points, placings up to discovery, ready to jump newcomers but we have been focusing on the eventing this season.
He's very straight forward to jump, he has a natural powerful canter and loves jumping.

Dressage
Only ever competed in pure dressage with a complete novice rider as a thank you for hacking him out, he won the class. Judges calling us back to ask about him and stating that he needs to be on the BD Circuit. His BE dressage results show how good he is. He can do all the moves, leg yields, changes, amazing transitions and all made easy by his natural outline- you basically don't need reins.

Hunting
Completed 3 mornings as a hunts masters horse during cubbing but only as a 4/5 year old.
Would make a very smart hunts mans horse.

General

Wanted Exceptional Event Horse for Young Rider

  • 16hh to 16.3hh
  • Aged ideally 7 or 8

I am looking for a very talented Event horse height 16hh to 16.3hh and aged ideally 7 or 8 for my 15 year old daughter, a dedicated and serious young rider, who wants to progress through BE100 to Novice and maybe beyond.

The horse must have proven ability to attain dressage scores in the 20s and double clears, be a careful and enthusiastic showjumper, and be bold and fun cross country but not too strong. It will already have a BE record at least at BE100. She prefers a horse which is forward.

It must have an honest and genuine nature, no vices, be good to do in every way and be completely free of any current or historic medical or lameness issues. We can offer a very experienced and loving home in one of the best competition yards in Surrey with an in-house coach where the horse will have excellent care, be adored and (appropriately) pampered by my daughter and be ridden most days, including in our two floodlit schools and on miles of off-road army land which is adjacent to our yard.

You will need to supply a full written description and videos of a dressage test, a showjumping round and several cross country fences.

We would like to trial the horse over a course of show jumps and cross country fences and are willing to hire facilities if not available at home.

Binny has been with our family for 5 years and is a fantastic fun horse who is a perfect mother/daughter share – and currently ridden by both.

He is well known by the Pytchley PC and has represented the club at novice levels for dressage, show jumping and eventing. He has competed at PC Intermediate/ unaffiliated BE100 level and was selected for PC teams, but is currently working at lower levels of 80s/90s. Binny has been to 3 Pony Camps, and numerous rallies and training sessions including during the Easter holidays 2017 and so has full rally points for this year. He has behaved perfectly every time.

Binny has done two seasons hunting with the Pytchley and team chasing at novice level. He is always a safe ride, standing at the meet, going at the front or back of the field, and jumping everything.

He happily hacks out either alone or in company and is one of the safest to hack out in every situation - through bike events, running races, over and under A14 bridges...you name it-even the slip road of the A14! He has very good manners; excellent to shoe, load, clip, catch, etc. Travels well in both trailers and lorries- we have taken him up to Cumbria from Northamptonshire 4 times-going up the Fells, on the beach, round the family farm ...

He currently turns out with others (mares or geldings), but is equally content on his own - wherever there is food he is happy.

Full wardrobe included in price, and tack by negotiation.

Fit and ready for the summer. He is currently ridden 4-5 days a week but is not affected by time off - he stays the same character even after for example, a 2 week holiday.

Very sad sale due to pressure of A levels.

Binny was previously advertised at a higher price, and we have had a lot of interest but unfortunately did not pass the flexion test from rest on the 5 stage vetting on the 28th April 2017. We have therefore decided to lower his price purely due to this. The vet could find no reason for failing the test and he has never been flagged up lame when training or competing. We did not have him vetted on our original purchase and as far as we are aware, his way of going has not changed over the past 5 years and it does not affect his abilities.

Binny is currently working at 80s-90s as in May 2015 he caught his leg in his rug and consequently put his pelvis out. This led to having the summer of 2015 off work but unfortunately he had an on and off lameness so we took the decision to give him 3 months off spring/summer 2016. He was then brought back into full work August 2016 and has come back to his original self with no apparent long term issues. We are still building up his confidence again, slowly increasing the jumping height. His flatwork is currently very good (see video).

We cannot emphasise enough how much of a safe but fun ride Binny is. It's very important to see him go to the right partner keep him happily competing at 80's +, and/or doing other activities.

A video montage of Binny is available on the youtube link - beach riding, dressage, show jumping, cross country, and team chasing.

Price is negotiable to the right home as this is the most important thing for our much loved horse.

Amigo is a very smart 13 year young chestnut gelding.

He is the perfect horse for a competitive teenager (Or adult)- coming off ponies or for someone who needs a horse to boost their confidence and take them to 100cm+ level in eventing. He has been eventing successfully at 100cm level for several years in Pony Club, BRC, NSEA and B.E. He qualified for the BRC National Championships last year , where he came 9th, as well as having placings at other events at 90 and 100 level.

Amigo is loved by everyone who know him. (Full references available) .He has the sweetest temperament and is easy to do. He is good to be clipped, groomed, shod, wormed and injected etc. He travels in a lorry or trailer and will happily stand all day at an event. He was the proud winner of the cup for 'Best Horse' in Pony Club at our annual prize giving last autumn.

He has been a member of our family for more than 4 years and has served us very well. Before having Amigo I had a horse who was horrible and put in dirty stops so I lost confidence.. Amigo restored my confidence and enabled me to improve massively as a rider.

He is a dream to ride XC and I didnt pick up a single jumping fault this season or last. He has scored some low dressage scores- always in the low 30s, especially this season when his dressage has been better than ever. I recently came first in the BRC Novice riding Club Championship qualifier.

Amigo is not at all strong. I ride him in a snaffle for all phases. He is not a kick along but is forward thinking and off your leg - but never scary or out of control.

This is a very sad sale of a horse that is loved greatly by so many people - especially myself and a 5* home is important. He is such a gentleman and genuinely deserves the best.

Bloodlines include: Grafenstolz, Ramexico, Ramiro Z and Fleetwater Olympus. Spring is an extremely well-bred, classy little horse with super conformation; floating, effortless paces; and the perfect attitude to match.

Spring was produced by Waterperry Equestrian as a 3 and 4yo. During this time she went to training shows, clinics, XC schooled, competed BE80 and BE4YO events. She is as easy away at a competition as she is at home – great to load, tack up, stud up etc. Warms up quietly and calmly and remains level headed and attentive at all times

After being sold to her new home, Spring attended PC camp with her 13yo jockey, all PC activities and unaffiliated jumping competitions during the winter.

Spring is schooling well on the flat in a soft outline, with 3 good paces. She is a careful, brave, scopey jumper with an excellent technique over a fence. She hacks alone and in company through fields, track and roads (including crossing the M40 motorway!).

Spring is showing great potential for eventing and dressage. Equally, due to her easy-going nature she could be a wonderful PC allrounder or mother-daughter share. Fun and competitive for a child to compete but easy enough for Mum to keep ticking over on school days.

She will be a real campaigner for the BE5YO series or BYEH and is easy enough for a junior to produce. Due to her age she must only go to an experienced home who are confident to produce a quality young mare to her full potential.

Very sadly for sale after only a year in her new home due to rider illness and the long-term nature of her recovery.

Bobby has been going up the levels since we bought him a year and a half ago. My daughter took him around their first BE together (80) last June, where they received 35.8, 4 faults SJ and clear XC. They then came 8th at their second BE80 and stepped up to 90 in August, where he proved to be a real star.

Due to an ill fitting saddle he had time off during the winter, and because of my daughter’s mock exams he was not getting ridden much anyhow. Since we bought him a new saddle he is been on top form. This year they have come out confidently schooling around 100s and popping over some novices. His dressage has gone from strength to strength, he is really showing his potential now. They went to Somerford Park U18 camp where they trained over 100s confidently.

He has no problems with water/ditches/drops etc. Bombproof on the roads. Bobby tries his heart out and always wants to please. Due to my daughter doing GCSEs they have not managed to do any competing yet this year. He has given her the most amazing rides and he is an incredibly special horse. We are looking for someone to keep bringing him on and get his full potential out.

The only veterinary background of his was a day after showjumping we noticed his windgalls were heated in one leg. Called vet out instantly and after a week of cold hose/rest he was it to normal. No problems since. Vet said it was due to a whole season out on hard ground, nothing serious.

This is a heartbreaking sale due to my daughter going abroad for sixth form, it is through no faults of his own. Good to shoe/box/clip.

Comes with all tack and rugs including a two month old Albion K2 jump saddle worth £1400.

No time wasters please. Videos can be sent on application.

Darcy is a stunning 17.2 bay gelding. He's evented up to BE 100 with 14 FP, has jumped numerous clear rounds BS on a ticket and been successful at unaffiliated dressage ( first test out as a 6yr old 79%).

He has hunted a few times and is a pleasure to have on the yard. Good to clip, shoe, load and has no vices.

Plus would pass a 5 stage vetting.

A Big Story Z - Stunning 5yr old with exceptional breeding

Story would make a super 1st horse for a competant/competitive teenager or equally a small adult. Although bred for show jumping she would also make a super event or dressage horse. This is a rare opportunity to purchase a totally unspoilt horse who has been proffesionally produced slowly and carefully with a view to her long term future, she is 100% in all respects never bad mannered and has not been spoilt.

Imported direct from her breeder only a couple of weeks ago, this beautiful little horse (pictures do not do her justice) is only for sale due to personal circumstances, Story has an exeptional attitude to her work proving to be both brave and careful with her jumping. She has attended training shows and has also been X country schooling - which she loved!! She has established flat work with beautiful paces, fantastic trot - really good hock! She carry's herself in a nice outline with a soft contact and is never strong. She would make a super small dressage/show horse (completely unblemished) too. She hacks out alone and in company and has seen tractors and lorry's neither of which appear to worry her. She is super easy to deal with on the yard, clip, shoe. load and travel.

Story is a beautiful example of Belgian breeding at its best. Passported with the world renowned 'Zangershiede Stud Book' with bloodlines that represent the some of the most sort after show jumping stallions to include: Aristo, Caretano Z, Lupicor, Lux Z, Concorde and Cash. Her grandam, herself a respectable 130/140 show jumper until an injury age 8 put an end to her career, has produced several young show jumpers all now proving themselves.

Stunning black Advanced event mare. I have owned Tilly from birth so know everything about her. By the legendary Fleetwater Opposition, she looks just like her close relative the Olympic medalist Opposition Buzz.

She moves beautifully and is a very careful jumper. Her cross country record in exceptional and she is extremely fast. Very capable of coming well inside the time at advanced level. She's fit and sound and has competed consistently with few injury problems throughout her career.
She is easy to handle and has no vices.

Unfortunately I have started concentrating on pure showjumping and have been jumping much bigger tracks. Changing my style has unsettled her and although she is still very consistent cross country, she has been less successful jumping big showjumping tracks.

As I am really keen to progress with my showjumping I have taken the sad decision to sell her. She would probably benefit from dropping down a level and would be great for someone wanting to progress up to Novice and beyond again. Long term genuine home sought.

Trial or lease considered if stayed at current home (Haddington, Scotland)
