Handsome, well schooled, loving friend

This is Dancing With Tigger or Tigs to his friends - and he has a lot of those!

He is a seven year old gelding, about 14.1hh, out of Bashful Bobby Dazzler, so brother to Tiger Tim. I bought him as a yearling, unseen, on the basis of his Dad's reputation and he has never let me down. He is the sweetest, kindest, pony you would wish to meet, always come to call and loves a good groom and scratch. Wants to be your best friend.

He has been professionally broken and schooled, he has BD points, qualifying for regionals at prelim level and gaining second place. He has 32 points in total with 3 at elementary (we didn't do any novice tests) but he really doesn't enjoy dressage, that isn't the career for him (he gets bored and it makes him lazy, doesn't do anything wrong) but it demonstrates that he is nicely schooled.

We don't really do showing but he has been to one local show this year and won his class. He thought that was more fun than dressage though. Hasn't really done any jumping apart from a log out hacking. Good to load, travel, shoe, clip etc.

He will hack alone and in company, goes first or last and is a pleasure to take out. I'm quite a nervous rider and I will take him anywhere.

So why am I selling him? I am at that stage in life when I want to do other things. I spend so much time feeling guilty that Tigs is doing little more than a quick hack a couple of times a week. He has so much more to give and I am looking for someone that wants a long term best friend to take him out and have fun.

Home really is most important as is keeping in touch. If you think Tigs might be the best friend you are looking for, then please call me for a chat.

Good to catch clip shoe and box and is easy to do. He would live in or out.

Only for sale due to lack of time, this is a genuine nice pony who needs a job.

She excels as escort for taking hacks out as she is happy to lead the way and is good in traffic. She will also happily go by herself or further back in the group.

  • To hack, funrides, forestry and beach rides and non competitive schooling and jumping

I'm looking for a kind Gelding to join our little herd

Must be 15h-15.3hh middle weight type, aged between 9-14years. I intend to hack, funrides, forestry and beach rides and non competitive schooling and jumping (coloured and xc around 80cm)

Doesn't have to be a world beater I'm looking for a forever horse to pamper and enjoy not compete. Due to a difficult year with a dangerous horse I would like a calm kind boy to get my confidence back but I'm a competent rider with 35 years experience so not looking for a kick kick ploddy cob and nothing mega wide as I'm a petite adult

Must be 100% to hack alone and in company and calm on busy farming country roads. Vice Free! Absolutely no rearing, bucking, bolting or kicker!

Must be good with Farrier, load, stable and clip etc We have a beautiful 12 acre small holding with amazing facilities and 5 other happy ponies a few sheep and 2 spaniels so must be good with dogs

The horse will have the best of everything and be pampered 24/7

My budget is around £5000 if buying but willing to LWVTB or Loan if long term and I'm happy to travel up to 3 hours from North Herefordshire

Please note I cannot have a Mare and the horse must pass a 5 stage vetting

  • Who am I? My name is Freddie I was born in Ireland my family are Irish draughts and shires

  • 1 in a million

Who am I?  My name is Freddie I was born in Ireland my family are Irish draughts and shires. I'm 7yrs old and measure at 16.1h.

I love people, my mum calls me a real people pleaser and says I have a real good attitude and workmanlike temperament because I'm not like other cobs that are bone idle, lazy and work shy! she says she's proud of me the way I move off the leg when asked but still stay a polite ride with out being sharp. All I know is I enjoy being ridden.

I love having a variety in my life, I enjoy hacking alone or with my mates. I'm happy to lead others or wait behind. I only ever need to be ridden in a snaffle bridal (IM NOT STRONG) I'm excellent in traffic you could ride me down the motorway. In open spaces I'm safe and reliable I will never mess my rider about, I will always try my best to make them feel safe.

I'm not a slob to ride I will go forward when you ask me too but I'm defiantly no race horse, iv had good education I'm not green and I'm very balanced, my transitions are on the button, I have lots of mileage so I feel that I can show you the way. I don't need any schooling it's already been done. I'm not a flappable cob, I don't mind if you  bounce about on me, my mums son Patrick who is 12y has taken me cross country, I jumped some pretty massive jumps for me, he does showjumping so I kinda wanted to show off.

I enjoy beach rides and I'd love to be seen out hunting this season, I'm a good gate opener and am a rock when standing on point so a secretary may find me useful, or I could lead the children on the LR with there ponies. I'll be happy to bob along at the back and enjoy to the day.

I would happily work in a trekking centre or do private lessons for balanced novices upwards.

I'm very easy to catch I spend my days out on 30 acres with my friends. In the summer I live out and come in to be groomed and ridden and I the winter I like to live in and go out on a dry day with a rug on.

The farrier loves me because I go to sleep while he's putting on my new trainers.

I love to be groomed and fussed by everyone, my stable manners are impeccable, I'm good to lead I never run off and I also load easily.

Mum don't have a bad word to say about me she says I'm a 1 in a million. I'm sound, I don't have any aliments. I don't have any vices stable or ridden.

My price is £8000. Im an absolute steal for this price, you won't need another horse for atleast 20yrs.

Heartbreaking sale of much loved boy! Due to giving up horses! Due to other commitments and daughter loss of intrest come to the decision to give up horses . We don't have the time to give this special boy! Due to work and home commitments etc. He has fantastic breeding, his sire is Abs of Lindale who is world's heaviest silver dapple Gypsy Vann.

He turned 4 this year and is approx 14.3 we have been long reining him and he has been hacking and started schooling no problem took to it straight away.

We have a professional rider come weekly to school him, he is coming on great just more work on his canter but we haven't rushed this boy! He goes in a natural outline no need to pin this boy down!

Fantastic with farrier, vet, dentist etc great to catch etc . His colouring is black silver dapple gypsy vanner. He is stunning and will just get better with age.

Will be devastated to let him go gad him from wjen he was weaned but doing this for him he needs to get out and start his showing carrier! Will excel in the show ring!

We have took him out a few times but nothing this year due to not having the time! He will come with all rugs, bridle but has had fylde ray saddle purchased new so that is to be sold separately if wanted.

Plenty of photos on request.

Lovely approx 14.2h, 7 year old WPCS Registered Welsh Part Bred mare. (Section X)

Hattie is a lovely friendly little mare. She has a lovely character and is a real people person.

Fantastic to catch, on the ground, load, travel, clip ect, lives in or out, no fuss. She is a real good doer. Is currently shod in front, but would go barefoot alround. She is up to date on everything! Ready to go out and have some fun!

She is starting to work in a nice soft outline but is inconsistent at this stage of her education. We are looking to take her out to some dressage soon and think she will do very well in this sphere.

Lunges and long reins beautifully, really easy pony.

Snaffle mouthed, and never strong. Has learnt rein back and some basic laterals. She is a really easy pony to teach.

She has popped nicely over 2ft3 with no problems.

Previously used in a small riding school and ridden by a variety of riders.

Been ridden here by our young jockey and a competent novice with no problems.

She is great in traffic, farm machinery, dogs, will go first or last, has been up the woods and doesn't get fizzy.

Her one and only downfall is she is scared of push bikes after a recent incident with one. If one appears behind (especially if they don't call out!!) she has been known to spook. She stops quickly and is usually okay to come back and walk past them quietly. We are desensitising her in the arena but as we are in bike country we are not currently hacking her.

Would suit either someone who would be willing to continue this desensitisation work or who has private land and no roads to hack on or very little bikes.

Heartbreaking sale. Please no more timewaster.

Full Tack available, including her fitted saddle, at separate negotiation. No rugs.

Transport can be arranged

Plenty of videos and photos can be seen.

Home is much more important than price!!

Martha of Pinehurst is a 10 month old traditional Blagdon gypsy cob filly.

She is a superb example of her breed with a lovely split mane and huge feathers already! She is well put together and moves beautifully.I bought Martha only a few months ago as a companion to our Shetland mare which she has done superbly but Martha needs a lot more one to one daily handling than I had first thought.

It would be a total waste for her to sit in a field as a companion for the rest of her life when she has so much to offer. Unfortunately I dont have the time required to spend with Martha at this time. She is a very sweet filly but lacks confidence.

She can be quite nervous until she knows you, this is purely due to lack of handling as she has improved hugely since I ve owned her.

Martha is registered with the Traditional Gypsy cob society and is eligible to show she is also microchipped ,wormed and had the farrier.

Martha has all the right qualities to excel in the show ring.

**BEWARE**

BOGUS EMAILS & BUYERS!

Ref #: 22412

Increasing numbers of internet advertisers are receiving emails from bogus buyers, attempting to scam sellers

This tactic is a worldwide problem; however it would appear to be on the rise in the equine industry, targeting everything from horses and ponies for sale, to horseboxes, trailers and tack

**EXAMPLE SCAM ALERT**

We've been informed of a new email scam doing the rounds. This time the scam email in commonly coming from ‘Travis Bennett’ & 'Cynthia PT', asking a list of questions & offering to transfer a deposit and payment for shipping. Please ignore this email and if you have time report it to Action Fraud, for more details click HERE

In another instance the scammer will contact you via email asking if your horse is still for sale, this will be followed by an email containing 23 questions as shown on the picture on the left. Please do not respond to this email. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and rest assured we are doing our best to combat this.

Another scam which is particularly common, is  when theadvertiser is contacted about an item, asking for more images, and then once the images have been received the bogus buyer will agree to send a cheque for the full amount.  At this point the seller is asked to email their full contact details to enable the buyer to send payment. The seller is then contacted again saying that the cost of shipping has accidently been included on the cheque, and could the seller forward the cost of shipment onto a courier, which is also bogus

These scams can vary, however emails are often written in broken English and written in an over friendly style.  We urge HorseQuest customers to respond to email enquiries with caution. If something sounds too good to be true, it often is!

If you think you’ve been scammed then we strongly recommend that you contact the police
