BUD  - Middleweight Gelding now available to be further produced in any discipline

  • Won and placed in cob showing classes
  • Excellent temperament
  • Been cross country schooled and was so brave & bold
  • He has done some local showing, won and got placed in cob showing classes.
  • Has hunted last season and was brilliant fun

This cheeky chap is good to do everything with and has an exceptional temperament. He is ridden in a snaffle he goes nicely over novice type show jumps, cross country and is good in traffic. He hacks out alone and in company.

This horse would be ideal for a mother child share or someone wanting to further produce a young horse to do a higher level of jumping, eventing or showing

He gets on with the job and he would not be regarded as a Plod! And does not go like one.

He has the most comfortable big open canter, will defiantly excel in the show ring, was imported from Ireland this year.

He's still very green with "life" but don't let this put you off with the correct training and knowlage he will go far.

Completely un spoilt, good to turn out with other horses good to shoe & clip.

He is young and green so he's not sitable for a complete novice, I'd say a confident novice would suit and above

Great stamp of a Cob. Is in schooling livery at the moment. He is green in the arena due to not having done much and can get a little tense but is very willing and his flatwork is coming on nicely. Just needs someone confident to show him the way. Is a forward going ride but not strong.

Is starting to making a good shape and has great paces.

Much more confident out hacking and hacks alone and in company not spooky at all.

Very easy to deal with on the ground and in every other aspect.

Just needs someone confident and experienced to bring out his full potential.

Martha of Pinehurst is a 10 month old traditional Blagdon gypsy cob filly.

She is a superb example of her breed with a lovely split mane and huge feathers already! She is well put together and moves beautifully.I bought Martha only a few months ago as a companion to our Shetland mare which she has done superbly but Martha needs a lot more one to one daily handling than I had first thought.

It would be a total waste for her to sit in a field as a companion for the rest of her life when she has so much to offer. Unfortunately I dont have the time required to spend with Martha at this time. She is a very sweet filly but lacks confidence.

She can be quite nervous until she knows you, this is purely due to lack of handling as she has improved hugely since I ve owned her.

Martha is registered with the Traditional Gypsy cob society and is eligible to show she is also microchipped ,wormed and had the farrier.

Martha has all the right qualities to excel in the show ring.

  • Ideal for all the family

Lovely traditional cob with super comfortable paces, she takes up the leg. Works nicely in an arena, goes forward without being strong, snaffle mouth at all times. She really enjoys jumping and has a good pop in her for a cob.

She has attended her first show gaining a third place in the pre-novice jumping, going over fillers, walls and planks. She was really well behaved and stood on the trailer quietly until required.

Excellent hack alone or in company, in front or behind and safe in open spaces. Good in heavy traffic. Never bucks or rears.

She has a lovely temperament, quiet and happy to be tied up, groomed, tacked up, pick out feet, washed off.

She is good to catch and easy to load in a lorry or trailer, travels well, good with the farrier.

She is turned out with mares and geldings.

Very straightforward, genuine and honest, she would be ideal for all the family, or mother/daughter share for local shows, fun rides or just a hack. She would also make a good hunter.

No vices, no sweetitch, no lumps, bumps or sarcoids.

**BEWARE**

BOGUS EMAILS & BUYERS!

Ref #: 22412

Increasing numbers of internet advertisers are receiving emails from bogus buyers, attempting to scam sellers

This tactic is a worldwide problem; however it would appear to be on the rise in the equine industry, targeting everything from horses and ponies for sale, to horseboxes, trailers and tack

**EXAMPLE SCAM ALERT**

We've been informed of a new email scam doing the rounds. This time the scam email in commonly coming from ‘Travis Bennett’ & 'Cynthia PT', asking a list of questions & offering to transfer a deposit and payment for shipping. Please ignore this email and if you have time report it to Action Fraud, for more details click HERE

In another instance the scammer will contact you via email asking if your horse is still for sale, this will be followed by an email containing 23 questions as shown on the picture on the left. Please do not respond to this email. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and rest assured we are doing our best to combat this.

Another scam which is particularly common, is  when theadvertiser is contacted about an item, asking for more images, and then once the images have been received the bogus buyer will agree to send a cheque for the full amount.  At this point the seller is asked to email their full contact details to enable the buyer to send payment. The seller is then contacted again saying that the cost of shipping has accidently been included on the cheque, and could the seller forward the cost of shipment onto a courier, which is also bogus

These scams can vary, however emails are often written in broken English and written in an over friendly style.  We urge HorseQuest customers to respond to email enquiries with caution. If something sounds too good to be true, it often is!

If you think you’ve been scammed then we strongly recommend that you contact the police
