Wanted, approx 13hh WHP type pony wanted for my daughter, we are looking for an experienced pony (approx 8-15 yrs) that will a good schoolmaster to help my daughter enjoy all pony club activities, including Grassroot pc teams, NSEA, BS Club and WHP.

Must be out competing regularly at 70-80cm, clean careful jump.

No vices and kind in the stable.

Experienced farm home with other ponies and younger cousins/siblings to come onto the pony in future years.

Appropriate budget and would consider viewing but waiting for the end of summer for the right pony coming up for sale after the various championships in August

A sad day but our 128 cm Welsh pony, Bryngwennol Festival ( aka Bumble ) needs a new partner in crime.

He is a brilliant 1.5/ 2nd pony-an absolutely fantastic jumper and a flashy/brilliant mover.He took my grand daughter from 40 cm to competing at 80 cm ( now doing British Novice after qualifying for Stepping Stones and Cats and Pipes national finals etc). And also given her dreams of becoming an eventer!

He would not be suitable for a beginner as needs riding but for a confident or just reasonably skilled rider, he is an absolute star.

Great to hack( goes in front or behind and doesn’t shy,bolt) , box shoe,clip, 100% in heavy traffic etc etc. His only quirk is that he cannot be left alone at the box if he has travelled with friends as he has all manner of tricks to draw attention to himself!

We would happily keep him but this pony is nowhere near ready to be an ornament and loves to be out rallying,training and competing.

The right home to ensure this pony has the life he deserves is a top priority, a BS starter home would be ideal or someone looking to do 70-80 one day events.

Pepsi, 12.3hh 9 year old gelding. Sad sale of a much loved pony as hopelessly outgrown. Pepsi is a fun all rounder and loves to please. He is very sweet and honest. I would say Pepsi is a 1.5/ 2nd pony

Whilst with us he has taken part in sj, xc, trail hunted, polocrosse, pc mounted games, pleasure rides, regular lessons and pony club.

Will hack alone and in company. Good in traffic. Excellent in open spaces.

We have competed Pepsi upto 70cm but bigger at home, he is not phased by fillers.

He has had a full season trail hunting with us. Happy to be upfront with hounds or with the field. Quite often doing the gates for the field.

He absolutely loves xc. My friend’s petite 10 year old daughter recently rode him xc and he looked after her.

Has seen games equipment, attended training and has been to a competition.

We have attended polocrosse training and chukkas with our local club where he improves every time he goes.

Up to date with vaccinations, teeth, feet ( is barefoot), worming and physio. Never sick or sorry. Fit and ready to go for a summer of fun.

• Milly is a 12.2hh 5 year old skewbald cob mare.
• She is an absolute dream pony.
• We have owned Milly for two years.

She’s the sweetest safest pony you’ll ever come across. My daughter backed her herself when she was only 12. Since then they they have done a bit of everything together; showjumping, arena hires, shows, cross country funrides and she wasn’t fazed by any of it and took it all in her stride.

She is snaffle mouthed. She’s extremely willing on the flat and hacks alone or in company. On hacks and she will happily jump logs, canter in open spaces etc, never spooks or gets bothered by anything.

Milly is definitely more of a woah than go pony which is why she would be an excellent lead rein pony, or first pony. She has a super jump and is bold and extremely careful. She has taken my youngest daughter from leadrein at local shows to off the leadrein jumping courses by herself in 12 months. You really could put anyone on this pony and she will always look after them.

Milly loves to be fussed and pampered and will stand for hours to be groomed. She’s up to date with vaccinations, teeth etc. she’s currently bare foot but she’s perfect for the farrier, to clip, and to load. Milly truly has a heart of gold and is willing to give everything and anything a go.

She will truly be missed by us all. Only selling her due to both of my daughters outgrowing her.

Gives a forward going ride but is sensible, she has been ridden by my 6year old daughter on the lunge and been used on the yard for lessons last year.

Happy to hack out alone or in company. Super chunky type that takes up the leg. Nice and easy to deal with on and off the ground.

She wouldn’t suit a beginner, needs her new best friend who likes to go fast and have fun. Got plenty of scope over a fence!

Jack works well in a frame in all 3 paces. With a lovely floaty movement and huge flashy extended trot, that will certainly catch the judges eye.

Jack enjoys jumping. And has plenty of scope and ability. Jumping around courses with fillers and water trays. He is currently schooling up to 85cm at home. He has showjumped to 60cm with placings and has qualified for the sunshine tour at 60cm. He shows plenty of ability for larger tracks. We have taken him XC schooling where he jumped everything asked including going through the water, up and down steps, and over the ditch.

Recently Jack took part in the local pony club show where he placed in the showjumping and won the handy pony class.

He has previously done lead rein hacking where he has been good. And hacks out off the lead rein with a person walking on foot. He is good to hack both alone and in company (in his first hacks with us on his own he was a little looky as it’s something he haddnt done before, but now hacking well) He is good in traffic. Also can be led of another horse for ride and lead.

Jack’s current owners need a pony that can be kept on working livery at a riding school and unfortunately Jack did not enjoy it and started to buck on the LR, he found the many different complete beginner kids too much. However he is not bucking here with us, as he is happy here and understands his job! Previously Jack was in a home with 2 young novice boys for many years. Jack would best suit a kid who has started riding off the lead rein and looking to start doing pony club/ shows etc.

Jack has had 6 weeks professional schooling here and shows all the making to be a top class competition pony. He would be an ideal second pony.

Jacks shows huge potential for the show ring and could excel both in the flat classes and in the working hunter classes. He also shows enough scope and ability to be produced to jump the British showjumping tracks as a BS starter pony. Or become a very smart Pony club pony.

Good to catch and handled by young children. He is good with the farrier (currently barefoot) vet, dentist to load & travel, clip and catch. Green passport and up to date with worming and vaccinations.

Meet Ruby!

Ruby has been with me since before Christmas - I bought her for my 5 year old daughter and unfortunately, my daughter doesn’t have enough experience/confidence to bring the best out in her.

Ruby would suit a project home who is willing to persevere and teach her the ropes. She’s very flashy and could even make a super second pony for someone. At the moment she is not getting the education she needs.

She has so much potential and I would like to see her go to a home who she will thrive with! She was in constant work for a while and was a little gem.
