Piebald, Mare, 9 years, 13.2 hands (AHC)
Monivea Brown Sugar, 13.2hh, 9 years, Stunning Competition, PC, allrounder pony
This is going to be an absolutely heartbreaking sale for my daughter and family
We have owned Sugar since she was 6 years old, she is such a special quality lady! And special to everyone that knows her, sweet natured and a genuine honest temperament with manners to burn. Sugar has been bought on very sensibly and correctly, and has given my daughter masses of confidence since moving on from her first pony to confidently competing in all disciplines with masses of success in all of them
Sugar has taught my daughter to show jump technical courses from 65cm to 85 cm tracks, with many wins, not fizzy strong or silly and snaffle mouthed at all times. Happily schools around xc courses and taking the win at Newton ODE last time out with the highest dressage score of the day! Just missed out on show jumping championship for NSEA at Addington by less than 0.5 second
Sugar is a joy to ride both on the flat and over fences, her lateral work, canter work and simple changes are well established, she's totally consistent and never lets you down. She has excellent conformation, and a very correct, straight movement. She is a stunning looking pony with a real look at me factor. Excelling at dressage winning the winter dressage league in March 2013. Sugar is now ready to affiliate with British Dressage and would make an ideal BYRDS/FLEDGLINGS pony. Sugar is currently competing at prelim and novice level
My daughter and Sugar have attended all pc rallies, senior pony camp for the last three years and Sugar is the same to deal with at home and away, being happily stabled all week and doesn't change in character. For the PC was part of the musical ride at the Bakewell Show Ground in the main arena 2012. Having been selected for the PC Area teams in show jumping and dressage, coming 1st in July 2013 at show jumping and 5th overall in the dressage. Qualified 2013 for the PC Dengie dressage and Trailblazers
We have been to many local shows from 2010 – 2012 competing in dressage, ridden and sj and whp classes, she also makes a lovely working hunter pony always placed and much favoured for temperament and looks, at the last show took the workers championship and the Supreme Champion. Attend NCPA 2012 and this year took the Reserve Champion title at the Derby County Show in June. Sugar is BSPA registered
My daughter has had the fantastic opportunity to have received show jump training from Blyth Tait, New Zealand Olympic Eventer, on many occasions and also has received ongoing training from two fantastic very popular well known instructors
Sugar lives in a busy college environment and happily hacks alone or in company. She is unshod, good with farrier, teeth, loads on trailer / lorry happily, all vaccinations up to date. Sugar is fit and ready for the winter and to progress her next rider onwards and upwards. Ideally suited for a competition home as she's too good not to carry on with her current education. Capable of taking an ambitious child/small adult a lot further
References are available from independent instructors. We have a full history of her previous owners who we are still in contact with. She is going to make a fantastic second pony for one very lucky child!
This pony really is one in a million, and we genuinely wish she was a hand bigger as she would definitely not be going anywhere!!!
Please only serious enquiries for this much loved pony. 5 star home only
