Martha of Pinehurst is a 10 month old traditional Blagdon gypsy cob filly.

She is a superb example of her breed with a lovely split mane and huge feathers already! She is well put together and moves beautifully.I bought Martha only a few months ago as a companion to our Shetland mare which she has done superbly but Martha needs a lot more one to one daily handling than I had first thought.

It would be a total waste for her to sit in a field as a companion for the rest of her life when she has so much to offer. Unfortunately I dont have the time required to spend with Martha at this time. She is a very sweet filly but lacks confidence.

She can be quite nervous until she knows you, this is purely due to lack of handling as she has improved hugely since I ve owned her.

Martha is registered with the Traditional Gypsy cob society and is eligible to show she is also microchipped ,wormed and had the farrier.

Martha has all the right qualities to excel in the show ring.

Beautiful coloured filly available to an experienced home at weaning (may carry the dilute gene - will be colour tested)

Born 6 May 2017

Really striking filly to make 16.1hh approx. Already showing great presence and athleticism at such an early age. Sure to stand out in any show/competition arena! Three excellent paces and a lovely ground covering gallop. She is a natural jumper, happily popping anything in her way including her mother!

Her sire, Legrande, a buckskin Oldenburg stallion is fully graded and approved with AES and Breeders Elite Studbooks. He is a truly versatile stallion competing and winning in BD, BS and lately BE!! He has hunted and been showing. Great temperament and movement.

Her dam is a maternal sister to the young anglo-arab stallion Lekanto (Elite graded BEF Foal). She is sired by the graded WB stallion Update who is a proven producer of eventers, dressage horses and County Show winners. Her dam was a TB mare by El Conquistador.

Lots more pictures available.
