We've had Tilly since she was five and she has taught my daughter so much. She's spent two years attending PC rallies, show jumping training, grassroots training, dressage training, and been to areas four times and senior camp twice.

She enjoys cross-country and won her first ODE. Competed at 2'9". She hacks out alone or with others and is sensible and safe. She is used to cattle, pigs and dogs. However, her real talent lies in dressage. She loves her training and is intelligent and willing to learn.

This fantastic mare has only been competing in dressage for a year. In that time she has twice scored 79%, over 70% in novice and has just started at elementary level. She is barely ever out of the placings against much bigger horses.

Recently BD registered, she was placed 2nd, 1st and 1st in her first 3 tests. Last October she won a bronze medal in the GB championships at Cricklands. She has trained with international instructors. . Easy to catch, shoe, load and in traffic. Loves to be clipped, lives in or out. Can somebe mare-ish to handle.

Very eye-catching, been successful in local showing, always commented on when out. Comes with full wardrobe of tack and rugs.

Sadly outgrown and looking for a fantastic, knowledgeable next home with a gentle and talented young dressage rider.

Boss Junior’s offspring inherit his charisma, dynamic action and competence. He gained 9’s in his walk, canter and rideability as well as character and willingness to learn

Boss Junior gained his ELITE status in 2010 due to the large number of successful offspring including the Best Before Midnight & Pyrmont's Bolero. Over 80% of all his foals gain the prestigious PREMIUM title. His breeding is outstanding, deriving from the most amazing dam line

Sidney The Small Brown Pony is a talented competition pony currently competing at medium level. He has the potential to do very well in the FEI pony tests, but could also be a very reliable Byrds squad pony competing at a slightly lower level. Although he is very much a pony, he rides like a small horse and so might also suit a small adult as well as a competent child rider.

Sid has been with us since April 2009, arriving as a just-backed 4 year old. He has been produced by my daughter throughout. Having initially focused on jumping, they tried a bit of dressage in 2013; it went so well that they switched codes and he is now very much a dressage pony.

Sid is currently being competed relatively lightly due to my daughter's school commitments, however they have won the Medium 75 class at their last two outings, and they continue to have regular training with Keith Robertson who is happy to discuss Sid's profile with interested parties.

Sid hacks, alone or in company, very happily around our large livery yard which has lane and field hacking. Given that we are in North London we don't take him out on the open road; he is however happy around tractors, farm machinery, dogs and lorries. The farrier loves him, he can load himself and he has no vices. His back and teeth are also checked regularly. He is genuinely a very easy pony to do; happy being prodded and poked, shampooed, and generally loved in pony fashion. We have never needed a height certificate for Sid, but he wouldn't have any problems measuring in as he is only 14.1hh.

He has an extensive wardrobe and has 2 saddles available by separate negotiation. Videos available on request.

A super pony who loves his job with the looks and talent to suit a competitive home.

Zip is a 147 gelding by Westside Mirah - sire to many successful European ponies in both showjumping and eventing.

Loves being ridden and always 100% up for a challenge in any discipline. Excellent brain and a quick learner. Zip has three beautiful flashy paces and goes excellently on the flat.

Competed up to 1.10m, finding it extremely easy. He is very careful and smart about his jumping and loves going against the clock. Confident over ditches and banks XC and always looking for his flags.

Done PC camp for two years, rallies, c+ test training, and schooled to novice level XC. Quiet on roads, with traffic, to shoe, box, clip, load & travel. Never sick or sorry.

Would ideally suit a keen young rider who is looking to compete him seriously. Snaffle mouth in all three phases, although forward going so not a novice ride.

More videos & photos available on request. Very sad sale through no fault of his own, I am very much out grown now at 18 and with me being off to college this year his talent would be wasted.

  • Qualified for the Novice Semi-final at the BD U25s Championships 2016

Milano Højgård is our 10 year-old Pinto gelding, originally imported from the Højgård Stud, Denmark. Milano is the most loyal, eager and talented pony with an enormous character. He is an eye-catching, top-class pony with fantastic paces and a superb attitude.

He handles, loads, travels, clips, shoes and hacks out alone or in company and enjoys lots of variety in his work aside from schooling: polework, hacking out in the woods, lunging, going out for a gallop and loves occasionally jumping. Milano is training at Medium Level at home, and also trains weekly for Markus Bauer, based in Hailsham.

Milano previously competed up to the equivalent of 'FEI Introductory Pony' Level, with his previous rider and, Klara has competed up to unaffiliated Elementary level and Affiliated Novice Level with him, with many successes and rosettes: at our last competition, Klara and Milano debuted their first Elementary at unaffiliated level placing 1st, after only owning him for 1 year. This spring, they will be competing together at Affiliated Elementary Level. Milano is well-behaved at showgrounds and has stayed overnight at competitions with us, and is able to settle in very easily. Milano is a top-class pony with the potential to reach a very high level with a committed rider that has a longer time with him, as Klara had only previously competed in show-jumping.

We would like to see him go to a knowledgeable family, and is only being sold due to Klara's lack of time with exams in school. We will be extremely sad to part with this incredible pony, so serious viewers only. The price can possibly be discussed to the right home.

Eye catching pony with 4 white socks, a little Valegro! Mac has three lovely paces and is secure in all Medium Level movements. They consistently score high 60’s to 70’s in Elementary with regular high placings. Mac is a confidence giver and is truly charming to be around.

They are active members of Southern Byrds and have been selected to ride for the region for three consecutive years, at Sheepgate Under 25’s and the BYRDS Inter-regionals, of which they finished 2nd overall in the C squad this summer in North Yorkshire.

They have been trained exclusively by Sarah Millis since the summer of 2015, and were awarded a 2016 & 2017 Scholarship with Sarah and her team for their potential and also recently chosen directly onto the Pony Progress Squad, a true honour for the smallest member of the squad!

Mac is a true sweet heart, with truly impeccable manners, we totally trust him. He has no mean bone in his body. He is good to clip, farrier, load and travels for hours, happily coming off the lorry. He settles immediately and works in calmly at shows, he will stand for hours on the lorry waiting. He is never fazed by the atmosphere.

This is truly a heartbreaking sale and borne only out of necessity due to my daughter has grown, and she is too big for him. We will only sell him to a 5* home to fulfil someone else dreams.

**BEWARE**

BOGUS EMAILS & BUYERS!

Ref #: 22412

Increasing numbers of internet advertisers are receiving emails from bogus buyers, attempting to scam sellers

This tactic is a worldwide problem; however it would appear to be on the rise in the equine industry, targeting everything from horses and ponies for sale, to horseboxes, trailers and tack

**EXAMPLE SCAM ALERT**

We've been informed of a new email scam doing the rounds. This time the scam email in commonly coming from ‘Travis Bennett’ & 'Cynthia PT', asking a list of questions & offering to transfer a deposit and payment for shipping. Please ignore this email and if you have time report it to Action Fraud, for more details click HERE

In another instance the scammer will contact you via email asking if your horse is still for sale, this will be followed by an email containing 23 questions as shown on the picture on the left. Please do not respond to this email. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and rest assured we are doing our best to combat this.

Another scam which is particularly common, is  when theadvertiser is contacted about an item, asking for more images, and then once the images have been received the bogus buyer will agree to send a cheque for the full amount.  At this point the seller is asked to email their full contact details to enable the buyer to send payment. The seller is then contacted again saying that the cost of shipping has accidently been included on the cheque, and could the seller forward the cost of shipment onto a courier, which is also bogus

These scams can vary, however emails are often written in broken English and written in an over friendly style.  We urge HorseQuest customers to respond to email enquiries with caution. If something sounds too good to be true, it often is!

If you think you’ve been scammed then we strongly recommend that you contact the police
