This horse has taken to his new job - like an old hand! At his first ridden show in July, he won his HOYS ticket, became Reserve Champion and finished fourth in the Janus £1000 challenge.

He has the most superb temperament and lovely personality and could easily be home produced.

Although he has achieved so much, he has a lot more to give! Cocoa could turn his hoof to any job. He is a super hack and nursemaids my daughter and pony through the heaviest of traffic. Has previoulsy won a Working Hunter training stakes as a 4 year old.

This horse is ready to take someone to the top again next season!

A very sad sale due to owners back problems.

Five star home sought. Please no time-wasters or joy riders.

**BEWARE**

BOGUS EMAILS & BUYERS!

Ref #: 22412

Increasing numbers of internet advertisers are receiving emails from bogus buyers, attempting to scam sellers

This tactic is a worldwide problem; however it would appear to be on the rise in the equine industry, targeting everything from horses and ponies for sale, to horseboxes, trailers and tack

**EXAMPLE SCAM ALERT**

We've been informed of a new email scam doing the rounds. This time the scam email in commonly coming from ‘Travis Bennett’ & 'Cynthia PT', asking a list of questions & offering to transfer a deposit and payment for shipping. Please ignore this email and if you have time report it to Action Fraud, for more details click HERE

In another instance the scammer will contact you via email asking if your horse is still for sale, this will be followed by an email containing 23 questions as shown on the picture on the left. Please do not respond to this email. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and rest assured we are doing our best to combat this.

Another scam which is particularly common, is  when theadvertiser is contacted about an item, asking for more images, and then once the images have been received the bogus buyer will agree to send a cheque for the full amount.  At this point the seller is asked to email their full contact details to enable the buyer to send payment. The seller is then contacted again saying that the cost of shipping has accidently been included on the cheque, and could the seller forward the cost of shipment onto a courier, which is also bogus

These scams can vary, however emails are often written in broken English and written in an over friendly style.  We urge HorseQuest customers to respond to email enquiries with caution. If something sounds too good to be true, it often is!

If you think you’ve been scammed then we strongly recommend that you contact the police

Saffy is a stunning, quality pony that really turns heads. She is absolute quality being by a CHAPS graded sire out of a full sister to HOYS 148 SP Milford Grand Marnier.

She carries some very influential bloodlines including Honeypot Sporran, Wingrove Minkino(RPB), Solway Master Bronze(welsh Sec B) and Mansingh(GSB).

Saffy is the kindest sweetest mare you will ever come across. She is a fabulous mover and real HOYS potential. Her sire was highly successful under saddle and her mum, although unshown, is full sister to HOYS SP. However, I do not have a jockey for her so she is unfit and hence a bit lazy. Unlike most stunning show ponies who aren't in regular work who may become sharp and difficult, Saffy is the opposite! You can tack up and hop on after weeks of not being ridden and she won't get hyper she will go into dopey mode and requires a rider with a strong leg to motivate her, once she's fit she goes beautifully and is a fabulous balanced mover who really turns heads(video available). I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that she is HOYS potential and is an ideal winter project for someone. She is lovely to hack and has popped a few jumps which she really enjoyed. Unfortunately I don't have a jockey for her and it isn't economically viable to keep paying someone to ride her therefore I am open to offers around the guide price(no silly offers please I'm not desperate would just like to see her reaching her potential - HOYS 2017?) which is a real investment for someone who can home produce her as she is a top class pony.

  • 5th Stithians open coloured class 2015 against all adults

Stunning piebald mare, 132.75cm JMB cert this year sadly for sale as my son has given up riding. My daughter has been competing her alongside her own pony.

This year she came 5th in the cradle stakes at Royal Cornwall Show. This was also her 1st season registered British Showjumping (my daughters 1st season also), she has finished 10th in the British Showjumping Bronze South West point’s league, with 137 points and has qualified for the British Novice 2nd rounds 2017, only needs one more double clear discovery. Also won the Cornish Points league for British Novice and came 4th in the Discovery section.

She is good to do in all ways, most of the handling is done by my children, she is good in traffic to shoe, clip load etc. Snaffle mouthed has done all pony club and riding club activities from kids club with my son to pony club and school showjumping teams with my daughter. Really does look after the novice and very laid back but also steps up to compete. Loves cross country. Was shown in hand very successfully in her previous home but neither of my children enjoy showing although whenever I do get them in the ring she is always placed, including nursery stakes at royal cornwall this year and the open coloured class at Stithians last year against all adults.

Mitzy is looking for a new best friend to have fun with. She loves cuddles and fuss. For videos please search Dominic Scoffin on youtube.

Extremely sad sale of our very special boy due to a change in circumstances. Jimmy is a complete once in a life time pony turning his hoof to absolutely anything asked of him. He is a gorgeous old fashioned stamp, with manners to burn who excels in all disciplines.

Jimmy has fantastic paces with a huge trot, uphill canter and breathtaking gallop. He also has a fantastic bold jump previously schooling over 1.30 at home and jumping novice and open tracks when time has allowed, never saying no and proving 100% bold and honest. He has hunter trailed, show crossed, xc schooled, done working hunter and dressage clinics and hunted. Jim is good to do in all ways, hacks alone or in company for miles and miles, box, clips and shoes.

The best is yet to come from this boy just due set backs over the last two years he has not reached his full potential

This is such a heartbreaking sale, no novices or time wasters as he is a top competition pony and like all has his moments

Lightly shown over the passed 2 seasons being very successful and consistent.

Qualified HOYS 2015 & 2016 being placed 5th on both occasions and behaving impeccably in this environment.

This year has carried a 12 yr old jockey amongst adults and holding her own being 2nd overall in the Hoys Tagg La Liga awards.

We would be happy to continue to produce Maggie for anybody as we love showing her.

Ponies of this quality and size are very hard to come by in this class.

Sad sale of my 14.1/2hh lightweight cob mare 8yr old, piebald with unusual spots / striking markings.  Lives in or out, alone or with others. Not mareish. Never kicked or bitten ect handled by my novice partner.

Hacks out alone or in company. Goes first or last and good in traffic. I've used her recently to nanny younger horses as she isn't spooky.

Her schooling is coming along very well, with 3 established paces, working well into a contact and has begun basic lateral work. Will do a respectable dressage test. Flashy paces so equally will turn heads in the show ring.

She LOVES to jump. Jumps well around courses of coloured fillers and rustics from trot or canter with the appopiate level of enthusiasm. Been clear round jumping 80/90cms with a 12stone rider with plenty of scope. Will do great with a competent teen but equally give a keen adult plenty of fun

Loads and travels well, good to clip and shoe ect

Been hunting with the Cottesmore proving sane and sensible, stands like a rock and jumps well

Not for a complete novice as I would like someone to continue her education as she has much to give. Has a willing attitude and has literally done everything asked of her with no questions. Will be a great pony club or eventing prospect.

Must go to a good home as I have put a lot of time and effort into this little horse. Never sick or sorry, open to vet

Price may be negotiable to a super home.  More photos and videos available upon request please call or text.

One in a million. Sad sale of a much loved pony who will be greatly missed.

Alaska is the easiest pony ever, he loves his job performing in the show ring. He is an absolute pleasure to take to shows he will stand on the lorry all day with company or without. He hacks out anywhere, open hill, through rivers, on roads etc. with or without company.

This year he had a fabulous season Qualifying for RIHS 2016, also picking up his 2017 ticket at his first attempt.

He has been placed in every HOYS Qualifier he has attended, without a doubt he will be there next year. He has many championships under his belt.

I feel he has the potential to go all the way with his jumping as he jumps for fun and has the most amazing scope.

He never gets strong or fizzy he just loves to please. Alaska would also make a top dressage pony as he has the most amazing paces and so trainable. I believe he would also make a Top class eventer or WHP and would love to see him go in this direction as he is so talented.

He is 100% in all ways: travel trailer/lorry, wash, clip, farrier etc.

He is my absolute best friend and I will be heartbroken to see him go but I have far too many novices to bring on for next year and he would not be getting the time he deserves.

Serious enquires only, his best is yet to come. Will only be sold to a 10*** home with a varied life. They really don’t come along like him very often.
