  • Laid back temperament
- Based at a foster yard in Bedfordshire -

Panda is a gentle soul who is looking for a special home with someone who understands that not every horse finds the world easy straight away. She has had a difficult start in life and, because of this, needs a calm, patient and sympathetic environment where she can feel safe and unhurried.

Beneath her worries is a sweet, sensitive mare who wants to trust. Panda does best with quiet routines, kind handling, and people who are happy to let her build confidence at her own pace. When given time and reassurance, she shows her softer side and begins to relax into her surroundings.

Panda would suit a peaceful home with steady equine companions and an adopter who values kindness over quick progress. She is not looking for pressure or expectations – just security, consistency, and someone who will see her for who she is and help her continue to feel safe.

If you have a gentle heart, a quiet setup, and the patience to let a horse learn that life can be kind, Panda could be incredibly rewarding. Offering her a home would truly change her world.

10.2hh Dartmoor Hill Pony

7 years old, owned from a foal. She has been worth her weight in gold as a companion. Happy in or out.

Has spent days of her live as box rest companion to my eventers. A cheerful little pony.

We would love to see her now move on to have a job of her own ideally, preferably as a lead rein pony or driving etc. No small children here! And she deserves to be loved by her own little people.

She did spend a couple of months last summer with a friend who has two small children and she was happy with them on her back on a lead rein and stood well to be brushed but she's not formally broken, so no one inexperienced with horses please.

She is well handled and never been spoilt but otherwise is a blank canvas. Good to load, catch, handle, lead. Never had laminitis. She does have a small cut in her lower eyelid on one eye, it's been there since a foal, it does weep in bad wind but otherwise it's never been a practical problem and the vet said to leave it alone.

She comes with a saddle (no girth/stirrups) & bridle (no bit).

Fully vaccinated; feet regularly trimmed.

Lives in or out happily.

A very genuine sale to find her a good home. I'd love to see her be the certain of attention rather than just a companion. But equally if there is a perfect companion home, please do get in touch as although she has been turned out with my eventers, the food requirements are not the same and it's sad to see her turned out alone all the time.

Calls only please
