  • Qualified for this year's NPS Picton final and the Ringside Open Championship at Malvern in August
  • Has produced two fabulous offspring and has so much more to give both under saddle and as a broodmare
  • Sire - Laithehill Harlequin
  • Dam - HULME SIGNAL Lady

In her first season under saddle this beautiful mare has qualified for this year's NPS Picton final and the Ringside Open Championship at Malvern in August. Sadly she will miss this opportunity because of a dispute at the current loan home. An ex-brood mare she has also qualified for the NCPA Pony of the Year, Equifest and Trainblazers as well as the 2018 Ponies (UK) Winter Champs.

She now urgently needs an experienced, caring family to realise her potential as we do not have the jockey or facilities to further her showing career. Easy to do in all respects she has a super temperament and delightful manners.

She has produced two fabulous offspring and has so much more to give both under saddle and as a broodmare.

BLACKHILL TIA
1999 Chestnut Mare - One opportunity for a serious breeder to invest in such an influential pedigree one of the last breeding mares of this breeding mare to be offered on the public market, a full sibling to Blackhill Picalo. Tia is a worthy investment as a very good producing mare, she is easy to cover and is a great mother to her foals who has now been covered with Blanche Grandee and believed in foal. She herself is a typey pony, well conformed and a good all round engine. Tia was secured when advertised earlier in the year but is now re available to the market due to sale falling through. This year’s foal has been sold therefore she will be available to go to her new home on weaning
£600

FOSTERHOUSES PALOMA
2002 Liver Chestnut Mare - beautiful liver chestnut mare with four whites by Penwisg Picasso x Milay Sunblest (Revel Siroco) who has been covered with Blanche Grandee. Paloma is a bronze medal winner in hand and has also been broken under saddle and hacked around the woods locally before being put in foal last year. She was purchased as a starter mare for our stud and an in hand mare, she has fulfilled all our expectations being now a fantastic mother to her foal at foot and equally an easy going show/broodmare. Paloma is available separately or with her foal at foot by Thistledown IrnBru who will be sold registered and microchipped.
£1,000 ono

ASHENVALE PEAKY BLINDER
2017 Colt Foal  (Fosterhouses Paloma x Thistledown IrnBru) - Beautiful grey colt foal born this year, he has an inquisitive nature, very well conformed with a fantastic set on front and a movement that would certainly excel him under saddle. This is a wonderful colt with some very influential blood lines which I would be happy to geld for him to pursue a future with children under saddle or in hand.
Open to Offers

THORNHOLME LIZZY
2005 Grey Mare (Springbourne Cresendo x Thorneholme Primrose by Criccieth Carreg). Champion Bronze medal winning  12yr old Welsh mountain pony standing at 11.2h. A white grey mare with an abundance of lovely qualities to make a show or broodmare. She has been running with Blanche Grandee, comes to call and is easy in all respects. –
SOLD

ASHENVALE ESMERALDA
2014 Grey Filly (Thistledown Blue Moon x Blackhill Eirona) - Three year old homebred grey filly by Thistledown Blue Moon out of Blackhill Eirona. A serious show potential that I was hoping to run on as a future mare for the stud. This filly has been handled from birth, shown as a foal on the mare and as a yearling filly at the winter fayre and Royal Welsh. A big scopey filly with a huge engine that will be a promising future potential for under saddle or in hand.
£800

**BEWARE**

BOGUS EMAILS & BUYERS!

Ref #: 22412

Increasing numbers of internet advertisers are receiving emails from bogus buyers, attempting to scam sellers

This tactic is a worldwide problem; however it would appear to be on the rise in the equine industry, targeting everything from horses and ponies for sale, to horseboxes, trailers and tack

**EXAMPLE SCAM ALERT**

We've been informed of a new email scam doing the rounds. This time the scam email in commonly coming from ‘Travis Bennett’ & 'Cynthia PT', asking a list of questions & offering to transfer a deposit and payment for shipping. Please ignore this email and if you have time report it to Action Fraud, for more details click HERE

In another instance the scammer will contact you via email asking if your horse is still for sale, this will be followed by an email containing 23 questions as shown on the picture on the left. Please do not respond to this email. Sorry for any inconvenience caused and rest assured we are doing our best to combat this.

Another scam which is particularly common, is  when theadvertiser is contacted about an item, asking for more images, and then once the images have been received the bogus buyer will agree to send a cheque for the full amount.  At this point the seller is asked to email their full contact details to enable the buyer to send payment. The seller is then contacted again saying that the cost of shipping has accidently been included on the cheque, and could the seller forward the cost of shipment onto a courier, which is also bogus

These scams can vary, however emails are often written in broken English and written in an over friendly style.  We urge HorseQuest customers to respond to email enquiries with caution. If something sounds too good to be true, it often is!

If you think you’ve been scammed then we strongly recommend that you contact the police
