The Atlantic Polo Team returns Victorious

After 48 days and 3,000 nautical miles, polo players Henry Brett, James Glasson, Bobby Dundas, and Fergus Scholes completed the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. Finishing top of the ‘fours’ and overall second out of 16 starters was a fantastic achievement for a team that was named as definite outsiders.

This triumph was no mean feat for the team, who endured 40ft waves, being confined to an airtight cabin for 70 hours, and twice lost men over board!

The team said: “The Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge is something we feel extremely privileged to have experienced, yet would not have wished upon our worst enemies — we have been through hell and back again out there!

The team embarked on this incredible challenge in order to raise money for The Brooke, Hilton in the Community, and Right To Play
