Hello!

My name is Zoe Legg, I am 14 years old and HorseQuests' newest blogger, so I thought I’d use my first blog to introduce myself and my ponies.

I currently compete in affiliated show jumping and have three fantastic 148 ponies: Broadgrove Royal Gift (Rue), The Herbinator (Herbie) and Lassban Royal Mystery (Mystery). As all horse owners will know having ponies is really rewarding, however it does mean a lot of mucking out and hard work, but I love it!

All three ponies are completely different, which is great for my riding and I hope it will enable me to ride a range of horses in the future.

Rue is a quick footed and exuberant bay mare. She is now 8 years old and adores her life of jumping, hacking out and being groomed.

Then there is Herbie who's the same age as Rue but is completely different. He is quite a comical pony but has a tremendous jump. He came to us about a year ago having done very little, but in that time he has come on loads with his jump, and personality. He is now even known to throw his bucket over the stable door at dinner time!  

Finally there is Mystery, unlike the other two she's a JA pony - although we aren't quite jumping pony show jumper...yet! She is a typical mare, she squeals and is a tad grumpy, but when you get to know her she is an utter softie, who doesn't act her age at all.

That’s my first blog done, thank you for reading and please feel free to follow my progress as I attempt to qualify for this year’s HOYS (or maybe the next one!) and in the long term aspire to be one of Britain’s best show jumpers.
