Above all he has a quiet temperament and genuinely likes people

His paces are second to none, his elevation is superb as is his hock action and extension

He is a very well put together horse, he has good bone, straight paces and a nice body as you would expect of his world class breeding, he is well worthy of his pink papers and brand

We have huge hopes for this horse in the future, he is no toy, although he would love to be! He is a very serious contender for age classes and beyond

Sire Califax:

The sire Califax is a highly talented son of the multiple proven and eligible Calido, whose offspring chalked up more than 2.43 million Euro in competition winnings from show jumping. Califax jumps with enormous power and scope, qualified directly for the Bundeschampionat at the age of five and received already top scores in his 30-day test: 9.5, 9.44 and 9.83 for the jumping ability, 9.0 for the character and temperament, 8.25 for rideability - the overall jumping-oriented score was 9.06. With his willingness to perform Califax knows to inspire with all feature a show jumper needs to be up for all challenges. In addition, he's a refined type caused by the thoroughbred Julio Mariner xx.
Sire Calido I is well-known as a sire of rideable, athletic and true to type offspring, of whom many are successful at advanced class. One of his best sons is the three-time German Champion Coupe de Coeur.

Dam State Premium/Elite mare Lotti:

The Dam was one of the mares selected for Rastede where the approx. 60 best three and four-year old mares of the year compete for the coveted Oldenburg Champion Mare title the middle of June within the scope of the Oldenburg State Championships.
These 60 mares are selected from approx. 400 mares that are presented after they have passed the broodmare performance test and have received a State Premium.
Her first foal by Status Quo was sold over the Classical Sales auction in Warendorf.


Dam Sire Lissabon:

After his approval, Lissabon won both sections of his stallion performance test in Oldenburg. Trained by Heinrich Döwe, in 2003 he won 8 out of 9 classes for young riding horses, including the prestigious Damhus Cup. During his 5th and 6th year he was a serial winner up to M-level and won the Damhus Cup again. Thereafter Lissabon went to the Bundeschampionate Finals with Johannes Ehning, where he received outstanding scores of up to 9.3 for style. During 2006/2007 he continued his stellar career with Jens Baackmann, crowning 2007 with a victory in Vechta in the youngster tour(1.5m)

Lissabon’s short breeding record in Germany is equally remarkable. In addition to multiple champion foals and state premium mares, he produced four licensed sons of which Lissacor (Westphalia) and Lissaro van der Helle (Hannover) were awarded Premium.Lissaro went on to win the German Championships for 3 year old Riding Horses in 2008 and the 4 year Dressage Championship a year later. In 2010 Lissaro rewrote history by winning his third consecutive gold medal at the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf as well as being runner-up at the World Dressage Championships for Young Horses in Verden. In August 2009, at the Hannoverian auction for riding horses in Verden, another son of Lissabon, Let’s Go HRH, was sold to Rolf Goran-Göran Bengtsson for an auction record price of €130 000. Statistics of The German National Federation(FN), drawn from show and competition results in 2009 and again in 2010, continue to underline Lissabon’s breeding prowess. Placed well within the top 1% of Jumper Sires and top 5% of Dressage Sires, this once-in-lifetime stallion comfortably maintains his position as the best dual-purpose sire of Warmblood Horses in all of Germany.
