Arthur is a second generation homebred gelding by Power Blade out of a Demonstrator mare.

He has competed successfully on the county circuit including RI and HOYS as a Small Hunter and Ladies Hunter before more recently concentrating on Intermediate WHP where we feel he has untapped potential.

Won or placed in every WH class this year, always gaining top conformation marks. Still fairly new to jumping having only started seriously campaigning in July this year, therefore requires a competent jockey to achieve his full potential, however he could easily be a HOYS winner in the right hands.

Equally Arthur would make a serious pony club eventer or small competition horse.

Extremely smart 3 year old gelding by Rebel

Mountain and Puissance lines on dam side, very quality with plenty of limb and substance standing around 158cm.

He is super friendly and easy to deal with and loves people, he is an old head on young shoulders and is super sensible and has taken to ridden work like a duck to water.

He came over from Ireland in the summer, correctly been brought on in his education, he has been mouthed, lunged, long reined and is now riding away. Schooling lightly in walk trot and canter he has been ridden in open fields and hacked out aswell as the arena.

He has been to a couple of arena hires indoor and out, where he has seen some small fences both rustic and coloured.

I cannot express how genuine this little horse is and how he wants to learn, he will be a valuable asset to anyone's yard with whatever they want to do with him moving forward.

 • Shimmering Silk (dam of Stanley Grange Stateside) brings in Yealand Nemesis (an older influential sire, 1974) and Lady Marrick, which are classic bloodlines known for type and quality.

This side shows strong Stanley Grange and Dolphin breeding, which is considered very desirable in the show pony world.

Dam Line (Bankswood Amarylis, Chestnut, 2012)

 • Small-land Maytino → by Cusop Finger Print (hugely influential Welsh Section B stallion used widely in pony breeding, producing top class ponies). The Cusop line is highly regarded.
 •  Dam Chiddock Poppy → by Chiddock Fankino (a well-regarded sire, 1979) and out of Pendley Spotlight (Pendley ponies are another strong, reputable line).

This side has Cusop, Small-land, Chiddock, and Pendley lines — all big names in the breeding of successful British Riding Ponies and Show Ponies.
