Carrafarm Better Together (ISH TIH)
16.1½hh | 5yo | Bay | Gelding

Georgie is a handsome homebred 5-year-old Traditional Irish Horse gelding who has been with his breeders since birth. As a young horse, he enjoyed a successful in-hand career, placing at both Balmoral and the Dublin Horse Show at 2 and 3 years old. He is a half brother to newly approved Class 1 Irish Draught Stallion Carrafarm Courage.

A kind, genuine horse with an excellent temperament, Georgie has been produced slowly and correctly. He is riding well on the flat with all the basics established, jumping a course of fences and has been ridden on the gallops and hacked alone and in company.

As a 4-year-old, he competed at Dressage Ireland shows and attended showjumping training shows. He has been cross-country schooling on several occasions, proving bold, brave, and straightforward.

Georgie is a quality model with correct conformation, a lovely way of going and plenty of presence. He shows scope, willingness, and a forward-thinking attitude, making him an exciting prospect for the future. A gentleman on the ground, he is easy in all respects—clipping, shoeing, and travelling.

He would suit an experienced home to continue his education and fulfil his potential. A versatile type, he has the attributes to excel in eventing, as a Lightweight Hunter or working hunter, or in pure dressage.

Sire: Templar Spirit – Thoroughbred eventing sire by Hand in Glove (1.60m SJ / PSG Dressage), from a line producing multiple upper-level eventers including Templar Juno and Spirits Gemini.
Dam: Pagestown Harmony – Class 1 Irish Draught mare by Crosstown Dancer (1.60m SJ), a proven performance mare with multiple championship wins and a Silver Merit in Dressage.

This gorgeous mare was shown lightly at county level last year with great placings. She is super correct with 3 very good paces and outsantanding canter !! She was ridden for a few months last year then turned away to mature.

She is lovely and light with snaffle mouth, has hacked on her own and in company, behaved impeccably at shows, good to box, catch, feet trim etc. She is ready now for someone to make their own to show or general all round riding. She is 4yrs old so please no time wasters or joyriders as this is a very special.

She has high value to the breed herd after her ridden career is done, she was inspected and accepted into Class 1 of the IDHS stud book as a 2yr old. Her pedigree contains some of the most prolific show winning mares and stallions of genetic value.

Archie is 5 years old. He has been carefully produced building his confidence from starting out at County Shows in hand.

Shown successfully and Won Potential Sports Horse classes then went Champion in hand Shropshire and West Mids County Show as a 3 year old.

Backed professionally and started slowly hacking. He will stand nicely at the mounting block, wait to be mounted. Hacks well alone in all traffic and also is good in company. V sensible and has even nannied older less confident horses. Doesn't get silly.

Competed ridden showing classes

Judges loved him. Placed in a big class at Championship show, very mannerly in the ring. Good with the other horses

Competed and scored well in dressage tests - will go up the levels quickly, knows basic lateral aids already, with flashy medium trot

Has been to a training show SJ. Seen fillers and plenty of scope, but not been rushed. Ready to start gaining experience jumping.

Will be easy for anyone to produce, talented and trainable enough to excel in any chosen discipline

Lovely to handle, loves being pampered. He's a real character and everyone on the yard loves him. Good with farrier, not shod has good strong balanced feet

Has been carefully and lovingly produced ready for someone ambitious to take over the ride. Loads himself, well behaved on lorry and stands nicely at shows.

Good trial facilities with indoor and outdoor arena

Quality with huge potential just young and therefore green but totally un-spoilt and confident- home important to us so no novices
He is currently being hacked out a couple of times per week and lightly schooled ready for somebody to make him their own
He does have a fitted Fairfax GP saddle which can be negotiated in his sale with his brown cavesson bridle. Only for sale as I bought him to keep my other foal company at 6mths old and they are now both 5years! He's been part of the family and carefully produced since then and he's been educated in hand, shown, ridden and he's now ready to become somebodies main horse. Home is very important. He has done some basic TRT ground work and I have included this in his training.

Willow is a joy to have around and easy to do in all ways. She has the attributes to excel in any sphere, and offers the perfect balance having seen enough of the world for her new rider to crack on, but equally has not been rushed.

She has been to arena hires where she has taken everything in her stride, never once thinking to stop / run out, and happily popping over all sorts of jumps. She is not in the slightest way spooky, and always extremely sensible and a joy to take out.

Willow has also been XC schooling which she loves, and is excellent with water, ditches, steps etc, completing her first hunter trial with a clear. Willow has also been hunting at a busy closing meet where she again behaved impeccably, standing very well, and feeling very safe. She is complemented wherever we go with it being easy to forget you’re sat on an 4yo!!

Willow hacks out very confidently alone or in company, is never strong, and excellent in all sorts of traffic. She is very independent and happy to leave her friends to hack back home and also loves the beach! She is snaffle mouthed at all times and always very polite.

Willow is good to catch, clip, load, shoe etc - anyone can look after her on the ground and she has no stable vices. She’s very level headed and is the type that you can give a few days off and get back on with no problems.

Willow has been straightforward at every stage and a pleasure to ride. In a perfect world she wouldn’t be going anywhere however A Level commitments before university force sale.

Although Willow is a very safe and sensible mare for her age, she’s not for a novice or nervous rider and I would like to ensure that wherever she goes she will be able to progress in her education and fullfill her potential in a knowledgeable home.

Absolute diamond to hack alone or in company. Babies led from her albeit being one herself.

Out of an Intermediate eventing mare by the super stalltion Leander. An attribute to any breeding programme with her temperament and movement.

Started jumping a course so super green but showing lots of potential and scope.

Non-mareish in every way. Would measure in as a small riding horse but by no means a delicate. Plenty of bone for type and a substantial type.

Offered for sale due to owners pregnancy

Available to the very best of homes, reluctant sale through no fault of his own , it is time someone else has the pleasure he has given me.
158cm, 14 yr old, gelding. Based in Pembrokeshire, West Wales.

Joey needs no introduction, he's been there and done it ,successfully over the country as a maxi cob, and a native coloured. Qualified HOYS & Ri, London International. Competed at dressage ,novice scoring in the 70% .

Now looking for a home where he can have some fun as an all-rounder, hacking , pleasure rides , hunting , fun stuff! He doesn't want to be schooled day in ( he is sick of it) ,day out going around in circles. He loves hacking , and going out on a show day !

He is a gentleman to ride , polite and light. Not a novice ride as he is forward , but the brakes equally work. He is nicely schooled , will hack out alone and in company. Doesn't get strong in an open space.

He is good to catch , to shoe, bath , stands quietly while you get on, loads and travels on a trailer, 3.5 tonne lorry or a 7.5 tonne lorry no bother. Will stand eating his net happily at venues.

He doesn't love being clipped , but this can be done with no gadgets or sedation, as I have done on my own for the last 4 years.

He is up to date with farrier , worming and vaccinations

Broken spring 4 year old due to Alice being in Australia. He had the winter off and has been brought on since the new year with mind to be our novice working hunter this year but Alice is starting full time work this month and feels she will not have enough time to commit to his education.

He has not competed but been to arena hires and xc on grass. He is still green due to time issues from our part but certainly ready to pick up and progress.

Enjoys his hacking and shows a good amount of jump in the limited amount we have done.

Sprinkles is a homebred mare out of a mare my grandad trained and has been in the family for 17 years. She has a fabulous temperament and would be easily produced by an amateur or teenager. She is a straight correct mover with three equal paces which would excel in the dressage boards.

She’s been well handled since a foal and has been born, raised and produced on our family farm. She has seen tractors, vehicles, travelled in a 3.5T, hacks out alone or in company and used to a busy farm life. She is good to clip, shoe, bath, etc. She has been to arena hires and performs well beyond her years, she isn’t sharp spooky or nasty, she is unfazed by anything and always wants to please. She is ready to get out competing and if I hadn’t relocated for my job I would be doing this myself.

She is open to any viewing, vetting or inspection. Full history known. A 5* home is sought for as I would like to see her reach her full potential whether that is in the show ring or another discipline. She is only for sale due to me now been 5 hours from home, so she is available to view with my close friend outside of Harrogate.

Please note I get no phone signal where I live, if possible make calls/messages via WhatsApp or I will be accessibly by my phone number between 12:30pm and 3:30pm or I will arrange a time suitable to you to call

Prince is a absolutely stunning horse who certainly has the wow factor, he is a true to type lightweight show hunter / working hunter, who has been successfully shown in hand with previous owners, achieving a score of 8.5 as an eventing foal, and being licensed as a stallion. He was gelded at approximately age 3 after collection for stallion AI.

Prince loves to jump and is very bold, He would be a great horse to teach a good amateur the ropes of jumping.
working hunter horse/ amateur event horse. He goes off any stride, and really loves the jumping.

We feel he would also excel in many other areas too, he has been doing bits of dressage the last few years with his current owner, but we feel this discipline on its own is not for Prince, he would enjoy a home were he can get to do bits of everything.

He does require a confident forward thinking rider and is therefore not considered to be a novice ride.

He has excellent ground manners, is good to box (7.5t, 3.5t, trailer), shoe, & clip.

He has been very well handled and produced slowly with his future in mind. A kind, friendly horse with a lovely calm temperament and typical of the Irish Draft type. He enjoys people and would happily be your best friend.

He has worn tack and is ready to begin his ridden career. He has been walked out regularly on the roads and has attended working equitation clinics. He is well mannered, responsive and enjoys his work. Good with the farrier and good to load and travel in both lorry and trailer.

Up to date with vaccinations and teeth.

A big horse with a good amount of bone, lovely big paces and moves very straight and forward. Would make a lovely heavyweight show hunter, hunter, quality hack or all-rounder.
