Buzz has spent summer doing pony club rallies with a 16yr old girl. Bombproof to hack alone or in company, doesn’t get strong or silly. Snaffle mouthed.

He will travel in a lorry or trailer. Will happily live in or out.

I’ve owned buzz since a foal so full history is known.

An advert I never wanted to write but sadly my beautiful Highbury Phoenix is looking for a new home.

Phoenix is a star and is so easy to do in all ways. He is anyone’s ride and will step up or down depending on his rider. All the family have ridden him and my 3yr old wants to steal him daily.

I bought him following a 3-year break from riding and our first show was London international horse show where we were placed. We have competed in some strong HOYS qualifiers, being 6th in Three counties and the highest placed Amateur. He always tries his best and behaves.
He is the same if ridden every day, once a month, in a field, arena or hacking. He is not spooky and is regularly ridden passed pigs and trains.
He has a fabulous character and adores giving big kisses and loves a pamper.

He is excellent to box (lorry or trailer), clip, bath (stands like a rock when I can’t reach to put his hood on) ,shoe, physio , dentist etc…..

Phoenix is a lovely responsive ride; he is not a plod but has breaks and gives a wonderful feeling in his gallop. He has hunted with his previous owners, my husband has jumped him a little (not my thing) but I think he could excel at working hunter/working show horse classes. We have done some dressage, and he attends riding club.

I can take him anywhere by myself as he is polite and mannerly and just such a good boy (I’m only 5ft). He is happy to stay away at any show or just as happy to stand by/on the box waiting for his class.

Phoenix is currently out in the field in the day with his girls (Shetland and sec A) and stabled at night, he keeps himself to himself and doesn’t get involved in any drama.

He is ready to contend Any classes you want to do next season or equally just have fun doing a bit of everything. He still holds amateur status and would be fabulous for Search for a star. Qualified Amateur of the year show 2025 and will be sold with the ride.

This is a very sad sale and he will only go to the very best of homes.

We have been lucky to have Dexter here for my daughter Aoibhinn’s 3 years in 15 handers but unfortunately we are now out of class . He is a very special boy to us. So easy and kind beyond what words can describe.

They have won too many championships and supremes to mention them all. Primarily he has been a worker for us but he might be telling us he wants a break from that . Possibly just from hoys level stuff ( hoys qualified in the 153 whp for the last three years and 3rd there in 2023) . He won the 153 SHP at Royal Dublin horse show this year. He was supreme working Hunter pony at the Northern Ireland festival two years in a row as well as being first reserve supreme ridden pony there in 2023. This year he was also champion HOYS WHP at the Northern Ireland Festival, Reserve Supreme at the IPS Spring Championships & Reserve Supreme at Tatts.

Dexter is very correct and a fabulous mover. Will mind the smallest most nervous jockey. The most beautiful boy inside and out. I cannot say enough what a kind straight forward boy Dexter is. There is so much to say about him, too much for any sales add which is breaking our hearts to do. Calls for discussion about Dexter are most welcome but we do feel very strongly about matching him to the right rider and home. You won’t find a kinder more loveable pony and the right family will be lucky enough to know. Sensitivity is asked for as this is a very hard sale . Picks up feet, stands perfectly for the farrier, catches, leads, loads and travels well. we have bathed him, stood to be plaited, he always is happy to give anything a go.

He will be a tall boy, still moves very well, straight and light on his feet. He really could do any job and that is the joy from starting them from scratch. You can really put your own stamp on him. He most certianly would follow in his brothers footsteps in either the workers or dressage arena.
